  1. LOL, I laughed a little harder than I should when I first read that I hypothesize at or close to getting to the Elite 4
  2. Someone explain to me just what in the name of hell the Glitch field does? Particularly the first 2 bullet points, I don't understand jack all what those 2 points mean. And one (two) more question: EP 14 ends after battling Terra yes? Where may I see a preview for EP 15?
  3. Well the good news is that the author created a sequel already which is called Tokyo Ghoul:RE. The bad news is that it only just started
  4. That's indeed a great example. I never thought about Caster's case until you pointed it out. Another pair worth pointing out is Waver and Rider, Rider undoubtedly one of the biggest supporting pillars of Fate/Zero I think what captivated me in Fate is the careful balance between plot, character development, and action sequences. Everything was executed perfectly and gave me an impression that I would not soon forget even after I finished. An example being
  5. Just to promote Fate/ some more, if you do decide to start watching, here's the recommended order: For the TV series, MAKE SURE you watch the ones by Ufotable. It's just epically more superior; you can tell by their CryEngine-level art and animation 1. VN route so here we start with the visual novel itself ---> Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works TV series (not the movie) ---> Fate/Zero TV series 2. Yawn..VN too long;didn't read... assuming you also don't have the patience to wait for all F/SN UBW episodes, you'll start with Fate/Zero first and then ---> F/SN UBW TV series So yeah. What I recommend is the VN route. But if you don't like reading you can just go straight in to Fate/Zero (like I did). A lot more things will make sense in Fate/Zero should you decide to go through the VN first since it's a prequel (made assuming you knew the F/SN stuff first).
  6. Bruh.... If I were to switch my avatar, I honestly can't decide b/w Saber, F/SN Archer, or Diarmud. They're all badass as fuck
  7. Attack on Titan season 2 was announced but it's still in pre-production, something to be excited about, as I haven't had shivers of excitement since DBZ when I watched season 1. And your username has to do with One Piece too lol and you say you hate it? (or maybe you just like Ace, I <3 Ace too so it's all good). Regarding about SAO, and btw this is another thing that makes me hate an anime: the pacing. SAO1 pacing was ridiculous, even though I didn't read the light novel, I could totally tell that the makers decided to skip a ton of shit. And then there's the whole part with Kirito and Asuna together and their lovey-dovey whatever. It's utterly stupid and pointless imho... Shounen Jump publishes manga. Different authors write their manga. Thought it was obvious lol
  8. I honestly don't understand why some (actually by some I mean a lot) of animes go with bunch of crazy power ups, or God mode, or fucking nakama powers. And ESPECIALLY nakama powers, god damn it's fucking disgusting (no need to mention FT now do I?). I took those as just the writers being lazy and aren't capable enough to write some thoughtful stuff. The big 3 suffers from this, with the exception of One Piece, as I believe I only recall that Luffy won against Lucci with nakama powers, aside from that One Piece is the best among the 3. Bleach right now is jarbled, and incoherent, and I honestly don't know what the hell happened in the past 20 chapters. Naruto ended, not bad, not great. Philosophical and strategic anime, when executed well, are awesome. Some examples include Death Note, Code Geass, and Psycho Pass. And then there's Ufotable, with their seemingly unlimited budget, movie-quality, CryEngine level animation talent. Nothing not to love Ufotable right now
  9. You are Reborn's bitch. But you'll luvvv it. Trust me
  10. Can never go wrong with Empoleon. Azumarill is a wrecking ball and will serve you well (you must have Huge Power). Clawncher is great and can be found by fishing (Good Rod) the waters of Ametrine (I think...). And of course as mentioned, Mudkip, the Team f'ing Player.
  11. Forum name: The FiRE of AcE Length of time on Reborn: 1 and a half years Favorite game genre: FPS, RPG, Fighting Notable skills: Basic fighting skills with a little more in the Tae kwon do department; decision making; logical thinking Hobbies: Video gaming in general, Anime Best traits: Amiable, steadfast to whoever is worth it, open minded despite thinking logically Worst traits: rather economical with my energy (aka lazy). Introverted. Describe yourself in one sentence, long or short it doesn't matter: "Nobody knows the future, that's why its potential is infinite." Why we should pick you to play Survivor Reborn: Strategizing and making the right decisions are the keys to survival. Surviving while taking the minimal losses is what I strive to do.
  12. look for her in front of one of the vendors, should be at the second intersection if you know what I'm saying
  13. And there is no way for us to get that high in the dept store sadly
  14. Thanks for all the wonderful info Etesian. It's a shame I don't have Trick Room on my main file But anyway, now that you've pointed it out, I also need fast sweepers. I've thought of Archeops, but are there any others you all would suggest?
  15. Thanks, but I realize that. That's why I put a NOTE prior to the spoilers since I will be adjusting the basic stuff accordingly
  16. Sup. I'm tired of Reborn making me its bitch, so I decided to devote some time into breeding good pokemon. I have more or less succeeded, but would love to hear some more advice/suggestions/criticisms to better improve my team (ie. moves, items, EV spreads). I'd like to thank everyone in advance who decides to contribute. I don't have cookies this time though sorry I also posted a topic for my team like ~1 month ago in this section too, so I guess it's a continuation of that one since I didn't want to bump something so old. Anyway, let's get this show on the road. NOTE: Natures, abilities, and moves (EXCEPT EGG MOVES) have not been finalized yet. They will be adjusted to suit the pokemons' purpose in battle. For future members: Huge Power Azumarill with Aqua Jet and Belly Drum; Murkrow with Drill Peck; Huge Power Bunnelby; and an electric pokemon, thinking of Tynamo, should be easy. Ready? Set! Critique!
  17. The short answer is that I'm Chinese. The long answer is Taiwanese. If any one cares I'll expound upon that. 大家好! 我出生在美國, 但其他家人是出生於台灣. Um let's see, Taiwan gets typhoons a lot (aka hurricanes) especially in the Taipei (the capital) region up north. Oh and food in Taiwan is awesome. Man I forgot how long it takes to write Chinese
  18. Yeah it's Espurr now. Gothita can now be obtained via the library at Beryl Ward
  19. All right, let's get this show on the road here. First I'm gonna go over some of your pokemon real quick: Scolipede: aside from Strength and its speed, this guy'll be completely and utterly useless against Aya. It mostly learns bug and poison moves which'll do jack squat against any of Aya's pokemon. Replace it for now. Luxray: Well at least he's got Substitute to take some hits, but since it's a double battle, it'll be very hard to set up with charge beam (if that's what you have in mind since Luxray is more physical than special). Since he can take out Aya's Tentacruel, it shouldn't be too bad. Unfezant: Oh my lord...I just took a look at this thing's movepool on level up and it is absolutely TERRIBLE. Its decent STAB moves doesn't even come until late in the game, and most of what it learns are all special attacks and not physical, which is what Unfezant is good for. Replace ASAP. If you don't want to replace it, try to have your Unfezant to have Super Luck. Since you have Air Slash you should be able to get out some crits before it gets fainted. Blaziken: Not too bad. The only thing I would suggest is to get rid of ember and have it relearn Blaze Kick. Ember's not gonna do anything for you at this point of the game. Dusclops: You have Hex. Get Will-O-Wisp. Do it. Kricketune: This guy is really really bad against Aya too. I would also recommend replacing it. Some pokemon that I would suggest if you're having even more trouble is a Phanpy, as well as Bunnelby (Beryl Graveyard grass at day). Train your Donphan up till 46 when it learns Earthquake and if you can get Thunder Fang from Move Relearner. For Bunnelby, get one with Huge Power and if possible with high attack IV's. Diggersby will learn Dig by level 37 which will serve you well. You can also train your Bunnelby to level 49 and get Earthquake earlier and then evolve it, your choice. Alternatively, you can also train your Diglett, have Sucker Punch, Dig/Magnitude. I would also suggest getting a Magneton from Magnemite in Shade's gym (at this point idk if you can get a Magnezone since you need the Yureyuu key). Might update if I find something better. Hope I helped out.
  20. Off topic but, I'd hypothesize most (if not all) legendaries can be obtained post Elite 4. Xerneas and Reshiram wins at everything
  21. Just a general breeding question: how does passing down IV's really work when having a Destiny Knot? I read that it passes down 5 IV's, but what does that really mean?
  22. If you don't want to break your bank, you can fight that one doxy girl who is located above the Pokemon center at Peridot Ward. After fighting her, talk to her and she'll give you a free Rose Incense.
  23. thanks. Another question: how many percent does compound eyes boost a Luvdisc's chance of holding a heart scale?
