Technically,Giovanni was the original Viridian Gym leader and even with his resignation still has a lot of say in it.Red probably vouched for his Reformation. I'll agree when saying he's a broken man however...(I like his anime version's orange suit....man has swag)

Evice was the Final Boss of Colloseum ...and he was notorious for using PURE Unbritled Power onn you ..no kiding he had a Slowking with Skill Swap and a Slaking which started destroying EVERYTHING...man's insane.Oh yeah,The Slowking would pawn off truant on the next available turn >.>

The only actual facts we have is that it has to be somewhere on a mountain since the Region has a really warm Climate so it could possibly be on another one of these trips..?

I've gotta agree there,if not for the work Dragonite has put in for me in the battle maison,i'd probably not use it here. It's a bit too mainstream for this but it works just fine due to it having a Middle stage in Dragonair which has still has decent stats and moves. For Zealot i'd go with either A:Xatu because Psychic type and Magic bounce allowing for good support or B:Sigilyph who instead has Magic Guard allowing it to only be damaged by offensive attacks. Idk about a Dragonite replacement though :c
