  1. Renton "Renton, and I would be happy to." Renton accepted the compliment. He wasn't oblivious to Satania's embarrassment, but chose to ignore it so as not to embarrass her further. He nodded to indicate he could help with the tea. "For starters, the kettle is on the stove right there, you can just use tap water." He pointed to the stove and the sink to make certain Satania spotted them. "Maria bags the tea so Aria has less steps to worry about, several fresh bags should be in the cupboard above the sink. If not, I can fetch extras from the pantry. Make sure to sweeten it with lots
  2. Got out of the house, did fun things, feel crappie than when I stayed home and did nothing. K.

  3. Red "Install." Another pair of moth wings appeared from Red's back and she used them to redirect herself towards Peter as he tried to fly away. At the same time, the Wolf seamlessly merged into Red, brining it along with her redirection. Without missing a beat, Red extended her arm and the Wolf shot out of her, snatching onto Peter's ankle as he tried to flee. Red grabbed ahold of Susi's tail and dropped her moth install, attempting to let the Wolf's great weight drag her and Peter back to the ground.
  4. Well, I've been productive today for some reason

  5. Red Peter wouldn't have much luck trying to fly away, as the Wolf and Red charged up the side of a building in a blur of red and brown, easily besting the speed at which Peter could climb back into the air. In an instant they were beside him and launched off the building to smash into Peter from the side, the Wolf's massive jaws attempting to snap him up or snap him in half as she launched across the street at blinding speed. Red couldn't help but be filled with glee, it had been so very long since she had gotten to play with Susi. And their prey this time was strugglin
  6. Maid RPG Clad in her newly a quired maid outfit, Victoria/Satania arrived in the kitchen. There was another occupant already there, a young man. He had the most beautiful skin Victoria had ever seen, chin-length, wavy, black hair, and narrow, deep brown eyes. He was wearing a well-kept tuxedo with white gloves, and looked altogether far too attractive in it. Upon noticing the new arrival, the man, who must have been Renton, stood and gave a short bow. "Hello. You must be Satania." he said in a slightly exotic accent, "Maria told me that the mistress had brought home a

Well, I can't really say much aside from a generic "I hope your situation improves".   You didn't ask anyone to say anything, but I was still going to try.

  10. Red "A deep growling voice; Sharp and vicious eyes; All the better." The magic circle beneath Red's hand sparked with energy, bolts like red lightning crackled along it's edges. An aura of raw power emanated out from her towards Peter as he retrieved his fairy companion. "Large, attentive ears; Fangs molded from iron; All the better." The energy arcing across the circle increased in their frequency and intensity. The wind picked up, causing red's cloak to whip about, exposing her bloodied torso and limp arm. Peter and h
  11. Red Unable to gain a grip on the wall because of the Shadow, Red simply bounced off it and continued to tumble toward the ground. The sudden shift in direction combined with Peter's attempts to twist the sword deeper into her, resulting in the blade slicing out of her body through her side, taking a chuck of spidery flesh and two of her additional legs with it. Many of her internal organs, including her left lung, were severely damaged and she could no longer feel her arm, but at the very least she was freed from Peter's blade. She tried to right herself before she hit the ground,
  12. Rhees was about to tell Vixen how absolutely ridiculous her plan was, when the captain interjected with his opinion. "She's right." He said firmly, "If there's even the smallest chance that we can destroy the Southern Cross here, before the Resanti have it back to full capacity, then we need to take that chance. The galaxy won't get another." "Elijah, we don't stand a chance if we do this." Rhees stood to face the captain, speaking to him directly. "Lieutenant, right now isn't the time for personal appeals. You should know that better than anyone." Matthews told her, "Even if we don'
  13. Riley A second ago? That's right, it had only been a short while for the rest of them. Riley didn't remember how she'd felt about the situation before, it had been so long she was surprised she remembered the situation at all. Still, if Alva intended to keep fighting, Riley would as well. "I had a lot of time to think about it." she told Alva, "But if you want to keep fighting then I'll back you up." she paused, she'd had a lot of time to think, and there was one thing she definitely hadn't forgotten. "Uh, by the way, sorry for killing you earlier." She'd been shortsighted in that,
  14. Can we talk about how TCGs are the original lootboxes?

    1. FairFamily

      FairFamily

Absolutely. Technically they could be considered gambling in my country as do lootboxes. I do feel that there some fundamental differences thar do deserve leeway.

Tcgs are physical which means that the barrier is bigger and that they are easier to control ( by parents for instance).

Secondly tcg are far more upfront about their "gambling" practices. A tcg is known for the luck and pay to win aspect. In a video game you don't know if lootboxes are there and what they do.

Thirdly tcg are far less manipulative than lootboxes. Achievements for watching people open lootboxes, making the game a grind so you buy lootboxes,  forcing you to buy gems to buy lootboxes but make sure that the numbers are off, ... The worst I have seen a tcg do is a short print.

Fourthly tcg are far more free with what you can do. Trading + secondary market really do help. Custom rules are also an option (like proxies).

Finally tcg didn't detract an existing product. You don't buy a game for the lootboxes.

  15. Red Though she knew the Shadow's, Red made no attempt to avoid it. She was too close to succeeding in her attack to back off now, and even if she did back off, the fairy's dust was slowing her down too much for her to dodge anyways. She dug her fangs into Tinkerbell, injecting the tiny fairy with neurotoxin. Though it would have been little more than a mild irritant to a full size servant, for a tiny familiar like this it was a deadly threat. Once the bite was secured, Red dropped her spider install, the vanishing legs and fangs releasing the fairy to fall away as the Shadow dragge
  16. Rhees picked up Vixen's signal, but refrained from acknowledging it directly. "That's all well and good, Gunguneel, but if we're going to counterattack we need a strategy. At full capacity, that ship not only has a significantly larger compliment of Strikers and Interceptors, but enough guns to sink the Eclipse in a ship-to-ship fight long before you can break through their lines." She responded to Willard, "Unless you can come up with something that will let us take out the Southern Cross without significant risk to our ship and crew, the captain isn't going to rescind his retreat order." Wit
  17. Misfortunate, how misfortunate

  18. (OOC: Deeply sorry for taking so goddamn long on this) Trick Trick didn't know what more she could do to communicate Alexus's identity, she'd already pointed and even if she wanted to say more, her mouth had already burned away. Using the entirety of her force of will, she held her presence intact for a short while longer. She used that time to raise what was left of her arm and try to better direct the diminutive one's attention to Alexus. She didn't know how far away she would manifest, it could be some time before she could find a proper knight for the goddess of luc
  19. Maria "Herbal tea should be fine." Maria answered, ignoring the question about Aria's clumsiness, "Once Aria finally finishes her task, please prepare tea for Lady Isis and take it to her as an excuse to wake her. If you wish to placate her further, accompany it with a slice of chocolate cake. Renton should be able to assist you in finding whatever you need, he usually prepares his own lunch about this time." Just as Maria finished her explanation, with such perfect timing it seemed almost planned, Aria stumbled her way up the stairs. She carried a stack of neatly folde
  20. Red Though Peter prevented himself from being caught in the web, it still served its purpose as he was slowed down by the need to cut through it. Content that she had bought herself enough time, she used her spider legs against the wall to flip over and pursue her main target: Tinkerbell. She didn't know the details, but Peter's flight was tied to that fairy. If Red could take out Tinkerbell, Peter would lose his main advantage over her. She hadn't realized how quickly the fairy would recover, so she was a little surprised to see Tinkerbell and the shadow flying up to meet her. Thi
