  1. it would mean making all moves either 0% or 100% accuracy, and the removal of everything that can buff or debuff accuracy or evasion.

it would mean the removal of the primary effect of paralysis.

it would mean getting rid of all moves with secondary effects or at least getting rid of the secondary effect, or making said effects have a 100% trigger rate.

it would mean getting rid of abilities like snow cloak or poison point. also serene grace and sheer force since they have no use anymore.

it would mean getting rid of damage rolls.

im sure theres much I missed.

basically without rng youre playing an entirely different game.

in all seriousness, I quite like all gen VI starters. braixen and delphox look borderline the same to me so I dont really care, but delphox is definitely superior because psychic type.

delphox even used to be my favorite gen VI starter, but then I started using both it and the other two and now chesnaught has overtaken. unfort.

  3. hi welcome to "bibs is bullied into starting a run", today I will be serving up a dish of dialogue errors in the starter room

    treecko is misspelled.

squirtles cry doesnt play when you interact with it, also there isnt an assistant in the room, so even if you say no this shouldnt be happening. my guess is that its leftovers from a previous version and nobody picked up on it because nobody picks squirtle. poor squirtle.

squirtle also doesnt have a cry or anything of the like after picking it, unlike literally all the other starters.

not sure if this is an error but reported it anyway because fuck it, might as well. too much L, line cant take it.

  4. between mudsdale, magnezone, crobat and primarina you already got an extremely solid nuzlocke team, provided all of them survive until final evolution of course. mudsdale in particular is so ridiculous its funny.

as for the eeveelutions- glaceon is easily the most ass ingame as theres barely to nothing it does vaporeon does worse, and vaporeon isnt a great option considering your other bulky special water in primarina. jolteon is kinda eh, and you already got a potential zone, so I wouldnt. sylveon is an extremely solid choice, but I dunno whether you allow yourself to use refresh, and even then you already got primarina. that narrows it down to the four you mentioned.

leafeon has one big advantage over phantump and trevenant- a movepool that gets you good STAB moves before endgame. the phantump line kind of suffers in that aspect. there are some major trainers with a weakness to grass, but with the current team that should normally not be an issue, with or without leafeon and trevenant. flareon is okay, stronger than magmar, and has some advantages in major battles. however, those are doable without flareon. also, magmortar outclasses flareon really hard. last but not least, espeon and umbreon. neither have too much type advantages upcoming (espeon has like one but that normally shouldnt be an issue, again). however, both excel at fulfilling a team role. umbreon is an undying wall, able to switch into nearly any attack that isnt super effective. on the other hand, espeon is an offensive powerhouse, being a great revenge killer and a nuke with psychium z (if you dont forget to pick that up).

id say the decision boils down to "do I want to counter certain major battles or do I want to fill out a role in my team?". it also kind of depends on your playstyle- in nuzlockes I near always prefer the bulky mons, so my eevee tend to often if not always become vaporeon or umbreon.

you could also do what @Wolfoxmentioned, because I dont see you running into trouble with that team anytime soon.

  5. I think its pretty obvious who im gonna be putting up.

Kabs (Kabutops) (M) @ Assault Vest
    Ability: Weak Armor
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Rapid Spin
    - Stone Edge
    - Aqua Jet
    - Superpower

    KABS IS HERE

kabs was originally meant to do nothing but be a viable rapid spinner, able to take any one physical or special hit and rapid spin hazards away. however, thanks to the combination of weak armor and aqua jet ive found that kabutops could also be used as sweeper or revenge killer, should need be. he would perform subpar at all the rules, but at least he would perform. superpower chosen because steels exist.

@YinYang9705 any particular reason you went tri attack over aura sphere?

  6. correct me if im wrong, but I thought gen Vs overworld graphics were basically gen IVs but better. ive rather recently replayed both of them, and gen V really felt like the more polished version of gen IV graphics-wise.

as for my favorites, gen VII has done a great job with graphics, really. of course it was to be expected because it was the most recent installment, but none of the other games are able to hold their own against the sheer excellence of gen VII graphics. that being said, ive always had a soft spot for pmd and ranger graphics (especially the latter is really underrated imo), and for gen V for having the last 2D graphics of core series and executing it really well.

  7. personally, I usually challenge myself to not let any pokemon die in my nuzlocke whatsoever. thats why I prefer somewhat easier games, mainly such as the core series. my favorites are games in which the variety of pokemon you can catch is rather good (such as platinum, bw2 or usum), or games that despite being core series still challenge the player to give it their all (platinum, bw2, usum again).

ive also nuzlocked randomizers, hacks or fangames, but I find they noticeably less likeable- to my knowledge ive only finished about two or three nuzlockes of games that werent just regular core series. especially randomizers get old really quickly.

Thanks for your time and effort in updating these rules.

I do struggle to understand and remember things sometimes, so please forgive me if I missed the point or overlooked something which basically says this. If I have, please correct me. But I'd like to make a suggestion, if I may.

I think there still ought to be a way for users to redeem themselves after making errors or getting large amounts of points -- some sort of community service that, when completed, takes off a point or two. While I understand that some people may abuse them, we shouldn't let a few rotten apples spoil the opportunity for those who genuinely want to improve or redeem themselves.

My idea is that the warnings stay permanently as you've implemented, and don't drop off, but they can be removed through good service. Perhaps a task is completed for the benefit or betterment of the site and the user demonstrates they understand what rule was broken, why it's there, and what the rules surrounding that area are. In that way it's crystal clear they've learned what the rule is that they broke and have less chance of breaking it again. If someone's just here to be a troll, I doubt they'd want to do work just to be able to continue acting disruptively, so that might act as a deterrent.

But, perhaps, there's a grace period where, if they break another rule, the completed service is nullified and the lost point is re-added alongside any other points if any new points are earned. I feel that would keep people from abusing the system by completing service and then breaking more rules. And regardless of the outcome, whether the user is banned or forgiven, the site runs smoother as a result of them having completed their task.

That's the idea in a nutshell. I'll throw it out there just in case it's something that hasn't been considered. Again, please correct me if I've missed the point. I sometimes do. xD

Edit: And @Sirius , I'm not sure that would work. People could just lie in an effort to get out of trouble, and as ZEL said, personal circumstances aren't an excuse for acting up. They could be considered, sure, but how would we know the liars from the people genuinely struggling?

theres still a difference between racking up 10 points in a year (with the six month mute in between), and gaining ten warning points gradually throughout the span of five years, all because of minor incidents worth one or at most two warning points.

id assume auth are able to review this on a case-by-case basis, and if you havent been acting straight unpleasant for about half your stay, I doubt they would do bans for the latter. as ame said, the amount of bans in reborn so far over so many years can probably be counted on ones hand- this new ruling will not make that much of a difference. its mostly a countermeasure to prevent people from cleverly avoiding a ban.

  9. @LemonJones question has technically already been answered, but just to give an idea- the discord server of your nation is likely where most if not all of your nations discussing will happen. by not being there, you miss out on discussion about the stronger pokemon to use that week, the potential threats of your opponents nation, or just random talks with people you wouldnt have met normally.

so while having a discord account is technically not necessary to participate, youre missing out on the majority and dare I say the spirit of the event without it. it would be much easier on both you and your nation if you were to have one.
