  1. Gale watched the Togepi eat the berries rather quickly. After seeing what was pretty much the end of the world, he had a right to say this was adorable. After she finished, she paused for a second, then walked up to him, arms raised and made a soft, shrilling noise. He smiled, lifting the Pokemon into his arms. Up in the sky, shades of blue turned to orange. "Sun's going down. We'd best get going." He started walking out from the clearing where he met his new companion. It seemed that, with the Pokemon nearby, he felt more optimistic. "If we want to make it back in time, I gotta start running
  2. He had no idea what this little gal just did to save him. But it worked. As the trees left, he heaved a sigh of relief. Gale looked at the Togepi, which seemed a bit smaller in size from seconds ago. He bent down on one knee, and looked at the little creature, which look completely innocent and even somewhat frightful. "Togepi, I think it is? You just saved me from living trees. I don't quite know how to correctly respond, but a thank you is in order. So! Thank you." He pulled his trademark smirk, much more at ease. "I don't know if you understand me, but I'd like it if we stuck together. Soun
  3. Just before his inevitable demise, Gale heard a soft, rather high-pitched sound from not far away. He looked right to see a small creature- a Togepi- with its tiny arms raised, making noises at the ghost trees. Back at the reconstruction site, there were lists of useful Pokemon: all that were not on the list were considered useless and should be killed off to allow only the strongest to survive. Suddenly, Gale tasted bile in his throat, thinking of how stupid the people there were to think that a Togepi wasn't of any use: it could communicate with threats and had the bravery to do it. Being fa
  4. In the forest, the trees seemed to give off a sort of vibe. He had managed to kick and crawl his way through the forest, and made it into what seemed like the heart of the place. Pokemon in the wild were a very uncommon sight now. Either that, or they had managed to adapt to the humans who attacked them. Gale would not allow himself to be a hypocrite: he had killed two Tauros before and sold a Skiddo to get money. They had a reason to fear humans, but now the guilt had shown. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a slight movement. He turned and saw a tree that clearly did not belong there. It
  5. Can Pokes have more than four moves? Because that could get interesting
  6. Alright. Throw yourself in and I'll see if I can't find an opening. I suppose I'll be catching you first. And as a side note/question, are moves determined by the trainer or the Pokemon? Because you mentioned Metronome, and the only other "normal" level-up moves it can have as of level 14 are Metronome, Sweet Kiss, and Yawn. I suppose you can add a TM or egg move to have at least one attack
  7. So much for a home, Gale thought. He walked on the ceiling of an overturned Poke Mart, so it was technically the floor. He had to pull himself up to even reach the door to leave that morning. If it was even morning. The day of The Cataclysm, he was on his way to catch his first Pokemon. Never before had Gale owned one, because his cocky attitude led to a bet that ended in his cousin getting the last Poke Ball in stock. The next restock of Poke balls would come the day the world turned round. About a week had passed since the event, assuming time still worked out. Now, he lived in this sorry ex
  8. Alright. My character is currently in between a forest and a city, so that's two places to search. I was thinking of catching Blaze (Flux), as he left off saying he was in a forest. Would that work out for you, Flux? On a related matter, my character, Gale, used to live somewhere close to Route 1, where there were Tauros and Bouffalant. But now, he is in between a city and a forest. So, he could be in Jasper or Beryl.
  9. Name: Gale Colriedia Species: Human Age: 19 Appearance: Fond of the color blue, he tends to wear a sea-blue overcoat (larger sweatshirt) over his dark grey shirt, along with jeans and simple, dark running shoes. His hair is blonde, about medium length, reaching his ears, covering his forehead, and almost covering his neck. Typically, in fair weather conditions, he will wear one sleeve up and the other down. He wears a single, thin blue and orange-colored band on his left wrist, the arm with the sleeve up. (If I could draw, I would, but I cannot to save my life) Personality overview: He is
  10. With your permission, both Murdoc and pwb, I would like to be a trainer. If not, that's what the list is for. Thanks pwb
  11. "Scraeth? In that quantity?" Kozuto almost began discussing his knowledge about them, but stopped when he noticed the Shantii walk slowly in their direction. He was far too amused with the nature of the animal and not the threat it posed. Giving a shaky sigh, Kozuto grabbed the bottom of his staff, in a position with which he could thrust back the foes if they came too close. He dipped his staff into the sand, silently wording to himself, calling upon the forces of nature to assist him. His order was rather simple: he would call upon the assistance of a sand surfer and any nearby bird of prey.
  12. Go for it! No reason why you can't except your type test result. And if you want a list, here you go: Cyndaquil Eevee Heatmor Magby/Magmar
  13. Of course, I'm hopping on in. It seems like we have a lot of Pokes, so I lean more towards the trainer role, but I can role with either. If Murdoc gives me the green for being a trainer, great. If not, still cool. And with that, I am test-ready. My type was Normal/Flying (Hell yes!)
  14. "I'll just bide my time And I won't regret, won't feel defeat And it won't make any difference if I'm incomplete"
  15. The Nomad had met his eyes, but then took them off. That would make Kozuto's response much more awkward. Kozuto looked to the side, trying to find a distraction in the dog. He bent, scratching its neck. Looking up, he realized it would do neither of them any good if silence was his solution. He stood up, feeling rather devoid of emotion. "It's, uh.. Not a problem. I would rather this be awkward than uncomfortable, so..." While he had never bowed before, he did so now, feeling off-weight and light. "Hello. My name is Kozuto. I am.. Not a light-footed wanderer," he said, failing at being evasiv
  16. This ain't even a series yet, but I ship the two
  17. Well then... I expect to see everyone in the RMT forum. Best of luck to us all
  18. Firstly, congrats on 500 posts Hukuna. Secondly. the RP. Setting: Having played XD, I think the Orre region would be awesome. It would allow for some Pokes to be Shadow and assist in a great plot, such as purification, resistance against the Shadow Pokes, or something else. Legendaries: Ehhhhhhh, nah. Bunnying would probably result. Pokemon Choosing: I think that everyone should be given a list to choose from created by the group. This way, a good balance could be created. Additionally, I think it would benefit the RP by allowing a diversity of characters. Species Clause: Sure. Like the Kec
  19. Congrats. I wish you two the very best for many years to come
  20. So... Would that mean that we are unable to summon sunlight, rain, or hail indoors? That could make or break gym battles.
  21. Should I really even try to figure out this Twitch mess?
