  1. It'll probably get better once the two groups meet up, because then there'll be more people to bounce dialouge off of. I didn't really know what to post next (wasn't sure if you had something in particular planned with the soil Nash found or were looking for one of us to come up with something) so I made a short neutral post just to get it moving again.
  2. "Agh!" Alleria looked to see who had cried out, and found Nash had nearly tripped in a hole. "Are you alright?" Rhea asked. "I'm fine, but.." Nash grunted, running his hand over the path. "What are you doing?" Rhea asked him. "The soil here is disturbed..." Nash said, focused on the path. "I wouldn't have even noticed this if I hadn't stumbled." He waved them over. "Do either of you two know what this is?" Alleria tentitively took a look. Upon assuring herself that immediate danger was unlikely for the moment, she crept closer in order to examine it better. "I'm...not sure. How about you Crag?" she asked. She wondered if Roland and Megaira had noticed this. Come to think of it, they had been gone awhile without reporting back. "Do you think Roland and Megaira saw this?" Aleeria asked. "They have been gone awhile..." she trailed off worriedly. "I hope nothing bad happend to them."
  3. That's not so bad, providing said crimes don't happen in my neighborhood. Crimes probably already happen every day around the world when I'm in school anyway. And if I'm not excused from class anymore, I just wait to take care of them unti lafter the school day is over. Superpowers would be cool. You get your college paid for, but you will never be able to own a home, only rent.
  4. So Sakiiri was a major trade city in the middle of the desert. That seemed...odd, although the fact that it was supposed to be an oasis helped lessen here worries a little bit. Although there was still the risk of dying of dehydration before they reached said oasis. "Are we going to have enough water to make it through the desert before we reach there?" Alleria asked. She hoped so, as the place sounded quite nice, for a desert city anyway. Shpos containing everything you could imagine, amazing food, and comfy beds were enough to lift her spirits. Then she heard Crag speak up: "Master Nash would it not be a bit more practical to see if we could find a group to trade for mounts with? At least for the desert anyway, it would save us some time. Also it would not be wise to travel through the desert in the heat of the day. Its best traveled in early morning and the evening. Oh and one more thing the aromas may be good and the food is delicious in those five star restaurants but unfortunately the amount of food you get for the price is very not profitable." "What do you mean by not profitable?" Alleria worriedly asked. "Do you mean they overcharge?" She had supposed they wouldn't be able to afford the best of the best, but she also hoped they could avoid this "lowest of the low" that Nash spoke of. Alleria also wondered what the group had in mind for mounts. Horses were a definite possibility as the majority of the group was made up of humans, but she wasn't sure they'd fair well in a desert. Perhaps camels then? She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about riding one, but she supposed it would be at least slighty better than walking. "And what kind of mounts are you thinking of?" she asked, leaving it open for any of them to answer.
  5. Two hares ran extremely efficiently. INARI
  6. That is definitely not worth it. You get famous, but it's for an embarrassing video of you that your family put on Youtube.
  7. Nope. Heard of it, but never actually taken the time to watch. The next person makes AMVs.
  8. Alleria took the comb Crag had handed her. It was beautifully decorated, and Alleria was touched by the gesture. "Why thank you Crag, I'm sure this will get much use during our journey," she said with a smile. She put it to use while the others discussed breakfast arrangements. Eventually it was decided they would eat on the move while Roland and Megaira would scout ahead while the the remainder of the party followed behind. Alleria was a bit disappointed at this as she had looked forward to a relaxing breakfast before they set off for the day, but she supposed it couldn't be helped. They walked a bit before Nash decided to break the silence by asking if anyone had been to Sakiiri before. Alleria hadn't been, but the shops sounded interesting. The alleyways, not so much. "What's Sakiiri like?" Alleria asked. "What kinds of shops do they have? How's the food there? Can we stay at an inn before moving on?" Alleria didn't necessarily want to complain about their journey as restoring the mana did take priority, but she did hope they could take the time to enjoy civilization when they passed it by. Although she supposed shopping would have to be limited to necessities as she didn't want to have to lug around more than she needed to. Ah, the burdens of being a traveler. Well, she supposed she'd get used to it soon enough. Or be forced to adapt, if nothing else.
  9. Alleria woke up to the sound of conversation. As she was stil half-asleep she didn't catch much of what what said, but a glance in the general direction of voices revealed Nash and Megaria were talking about something. It seemed everyone else other than Rhea was still asleep. Alleria forced herself up and walked over towards the trio. "Morning," she mumbled tiredly. "Breakfast smells good." She still didn't feel entirely awake, and was pretty sure she looked like a mess. While sleeping outdoors did have the benefits of being close to the stars and the plants and just nature in general, it also had its downsides. Namely you were more vunerable to attacks (which thankfully hadn't happened again after the incident with the bandits) you were exposed to the weather (luckily it hadn't rained or stormed) and that it wasn't as comfortable and left you looking a little disheveled (her current predicament). "I'm going to go freshen up a bit if you don't mind," she said. She thought the nearby spring would work well, and headed off in that direction. Upon arriving she splashed some of the cool water on her face, which did wonders for her alertness. She diecided to use the oppurtunity to scrub at some of the dirt that had accumaleted on her skin as a result of sleeping on the ground. Taking a look at her reflection, she found that her hair was indeed a mess. After unsuccessfully trying to straighten it out for a breif while, she eventually decided to just wash it as she wasn't sure when the next oppurtunity would present itself. Deciding to just get it over with, she dunked her head under the water. It was COLD. "Worst idea ever," Allerai bemoaned after surfacing. After getting her hair back into a much more manageable state, she headed back towards the others.
  10. Don't even ask that hippo. HIPPO
  11. King Mitus (spelling?) had that and it didn't end well for him, so I doubt it'd end well for me either. So no. You come up with a new invention that can make everyone's lives easier, but someone else gets all the credit for it.
  12. One tip I have is to save even after you lose to him. That way your Pokemon will get experience from the few of his Pokemon that you did kill, which will help your Pokemon level up to get better stats and moves. Get your Pokemon up to lv 35 as that's the max they can reach before disobeying you (or 34 if you're worried they'll level up during the battle). This is the team I eventually beat him with: Lv 34 pachirisu (spark, swift, sweet kiss, thunder wave) Lv 33 numel (earth power, magnitude, lava plume, flame burst) Lv 33 gyarados (tackle, bite, dragon rage, ice fang) lv 35 during battle aqua tail replaced tackle Lv 32 dewott (razor shell, revenge, water pulse, N/A as was a deleted HM move) Lv 32 kadabra (psybeam, confusion, disable, miracle eye) Lv 34 emolga (spark, pursuit, acrobatics, shock wave) Saved after dying for experience gain. Used potions. After winning only gyarados was left alive.
  13. Go help turkeys in Siberia. DUCKS
  14. I don't have a facebook so I have 0 likes, which means I gain 0 real friends? If I don't gain anything than I don't want it. But if I actually do become popular, I think I'd take it. I only have 2 close friends, both of which I hardly see anymore as we went our separate ways due to college. In addition to those 2, I have a small handful that are like the type of friends described above, but I also rarely see them due to college. If I'm popular, that means I should have college friends that I could talk to and do stuff with on a regular basis, which I think is worth it even if I can't trust them with my deepest darkest secrets. Would you press the button if... You became the world champion! But it is for something you are completely uninterested in and now everyone bugs you for tips and strategies about that thing constantly.
  15. OK! Stopping bad guys sounds more fun than trying to pay for college. Plus I have Inuyasha and the gang to protect me, along with my own powers. You can breathe underwater but you lose the ability to swim. Instead you just sink.
  16. Not really. I have too many from my basketball days as it is. The next poster likes emolga and pachirisu.
  17. You forgot to make new letters. BUNNY
  18. Not worth it. I like Earth. You get a one time use to gain a new talent of your choice (drawing, singing, whatever you'd like) but in order to do so you have to give up all of your former talents.
  19. You contradicted yourself there by first calling Nash a good storyteller, then having the same character refer to him as a not so good one. It's not that much of a big deal or anything, but I thought it was kind of odd.
  20. "Well, since it appears that no one is interested, I guess I'll call it a night," Rhea said to the group, pulling out her own bedroll. Alleria was dismayed to hear this. Stories of any sort were a large part of the elvish culture and she always enjoyed hearing them. Stories from different people of different races were almost more interesting as there was the chance it'd be one she hadn't heard before. "Hold up. What happened to me telling a story?" Nash interjected before launching into the legend of the hero, Lagerius. Although Alleria had heard the story before, it was always nice to get a fresh perspective on things. It certainly was an appropriate story for the group as it took place back when all the races banded together to fight a common evil, just as they were now banding together to solve a common problem. Perhaps traveling with them all is not so bad. Alleria thought to herself. After the story was finished everyone began getting comfortable for the night. Megaira left for a short period, which Alleria assumed had something to do with the deer bones she had asked for earlier, but she returned a short while later and settled down for the night like everyone else. Roland had the first watch, and he seemed content enough to spend it whittling something out of wood. And having nothing else to do, Alleria let herself drift off to sleep.
