@Commander: It didn't affect my enjoyment either, it's just most of the time I didn't feel any emotion, I just heard words. A game with a heavy story focus needs emotional power to thrive and the voices didn't really give it that unless Lloyd was the one talking. That's all I mean. The game is still great and fun to play xD

@Hukuna House: I've not played Dragon Quest 8 so I don't know about that. It's a great game, the voice acting just wasn't up...

I didn't mean all of them, but some of the characters were well done. Not every character is going to have a good VA that is for certain, but most of theirs at least got the point across but weren;t jarring. ((I just have the I really like Yangus's voice actor, I dunno his just sticks with me.))

It's never going to be perfect, it's not like I expected that. It's just a lot of it sucked to me. It didn't give the power it really needed when they spoke a lot of the time. That's why I'm being kinda critical about it. I had very high expectations so it was a little disappointing.
