  1. Chesnaught can just earthquake mega Gengar, or Shadow Claw him...Back to Blaziken, I'd replace Swords Dance with Hone Claws whatever you do. I completely forgot about that. As for protect, I'd say keep it imo, as you don't want blaziken to be taking a hit before he can start sweeping. His defenses aren't that good.

I have never seen Chastnaught with earthquake, which is mostly redundant, as he can just leech seed him away, or setup spikes on his face without fear.

Hone Claws can pair good with an unacurate move but HJK rarely misses, while Fire Punch (altought he could use blaze kick instead) really needs the +2 boost to do good damage; turning Hone Claws virtually senseless unless you try to pair it with something like Stone Edge. Talking about that, in my opinion, shadow claw and stone edge are great alternatives to protect, as they prevent Lati@s, Salamence, defensive Starmie and especially Chandelure and Dragonite from walling it cold. It's defenses are bad, but he can take a hit of defensive pokémon, or switch on a choiced resisted move.

  2. This is a rather terrible team in my opinion.

Firstly, as said, Absol needs Absolite.

Secondly, pretty much everything you have is mixed. You're wasting a lot of moveslots. Metagross in particular is an appaling waste. Salamence has 2 STAB physical Dragon moves. Pick 1. If Aerial Ace is there purely to counter evasion, use Roar [always hits now].

Salamence should not have Dragon Fang. There are FAR better items, which is why nobody ever watses an item for a 10% power boost. Something like Yache berry would be far better.

Again, drop the stupid item on Infernape.

Get rid of Luxray alltogether. It's bad anyway, and you're trying [and failing] to run it asa mixed sweeper.

While we're at it, get rid of Metagross. It shouldn't be on any team in XY due to it's large amount of common weaknesses, and your one is particularly bad.

really, it pretty mutch is crucial if you want to fix your team

on "threats" you should add Magnezone, as skarmory's whirlwind is basically all you have to stop oposing physical sweepers of setting up and then blowing your entire team

  3. At this point, no one greneinjas has passed from 87% damage of the ice beam, and some of them ahd a Life Orb.

Remember on calculators I carry a maxed HP stat and some def investment, the set is not ofensive.

the speed allows me outspeed latios and everything below at +1, and scarf base 100s at +2

AGAIN: I DO NOT NEED Shadow Tag anymore, and chandy is Timid, so is faster than mega gengar (which in fact is actually one of his prime targets).

The STAB Fire Blast also out-damages Mega Gengar's Sludge wave/bomb, especially if gets a boost wich is likely due to Breloom luring Fire types to no end

Seriously, i had tryed Mega Gengar and even without Shadow Tag Chandelure fits better on my team.

the 4 def EVs got lost in the traduction, fixed.

the main poin is: where i put Stealth Rock.

  4. I don't know why, but I expected that:

Cowtao, I think you missed a point: I don't really need shadow tag to kick ass with Chandelure, my legenary prediction supplies it perfectly. And the extra speed allows me to beat Mega Gengar without fail, while its fire typing is really usefull to me both in terms of sinergy and offensively (specially if get the boost of Flash Fire: bulky waters getting nearly one-shoted by Fire Blast Alone seems scarying if you think about it).

Secundum, the only sound move that Dragonite is really worried about is Sylveon's Hyper Voice, which is rare and i won't stay against him anyway.

Greninja cannot OHKO even with life orb as long he's timid, if he runs modest, he might OHKO, but will be too slow to hit before getting crippled or killed by the +1 dragon claw (trust me, that bulky spread is not for decoration).

  5. Well, after few months i decided to register here.

I'm not very good at english so sorry in advent for the multiple mistakes that WILL appear on my comments.

I will apreciate very much a bit of comprehension on them.

I also hve heavy troube to recognise feelings, mainly because I hardly ever have them. I would also enjoy you are a bit patient in this regard.

    Thank you.

  6. This is the team i have been using on BW and BW2, and i need a little help to prepair it for the new XY metagame.

I would like hints to adapt it to the new threats.

As advance, sorry for my bad english.

StarHammer (Latios) (M) @ Choice Specs

    Trait: Levitate

    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Draco Meteor

    - Psyshock

    - Surf

    - Dragon Pulse

Easy to use with a bit of practise, deadly to face, even some steels fear thar DM!

The Gravitron (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Scarf

    Trait: Shadow Tag/Flash Fire

    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Fire Blast

    - Energy Ball

    - Shadow Ball

    - Hidden Power (Fighting)

THE revenge killer. I will forever hate the decision of stealing his Shadow Tag. Fortunately, with Flash Fire still works fine with a bit of prediction.

Mammhut (Mamoswine) (M) @ Life Orb

    Trait: trick Fat

    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4Def

    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Ice Shard

    - Earthquake

    - Icicle Crash

    - Superpower

That thing has a little brain with a single thing inside: Break things.

Near perfect coverage, one shots aegislash in the defensive form.

    Magneto (Magnezone) @ Choice Scarf

    Trait: Magnet Pull

    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Thunderbolt

    - Hidden Power (Fire)

    - Volt Switch

    - Flash Cannon

My new and old trapper, safer than chandy for kill some oponents, and now carries paralysis imunity: the perfect Skarmory, Scizor, Forretress and Kefki counter.

Rocky (Breloom) (M) @ eXpert Belt

    Trait: Tecnichian

    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd

    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Spore

    - Stone Edge/Rock Tomb

    - Mach Punch

    - Bullet Seed

how to survive a chandelure in BW?

pretty simple: switch, Spore, and Stone Edge. if the oponent hasn't sent a chandelure (and lot it), he has no one.

in XY the buff in rock tomb makes it even better for the job of kill annoying fire and flying types.

    Belgabad (Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers

    Trait: Multiscale

    EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 96 SDef / 68 Spd

    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Dragon Claw

    - Dragon Dance

    - Roost

    - Substitute

My signature set, and maybe, and one of the most annoying sets in the existence.

Even +6 Aegislash shadow sneak does not OHKO, and the +1 DC does an impressive damage to the offensive form, so if aegislash does a mistake, dies. King's shield is easily avoidable by just subbing, wich forces him to attack and break it before I recover Multiscale. It's ME that i laugh at him, not the opposite

He can anihilate an entire team by itself provided that fairies, full physically defensive Skarmory and Mamoswine are out of the way.

This one in particular is untouchable, even with fairies around the substitute wins more games than a coverage move.

That thing actually is what cements my team in the top ladder on BW, and is slowly giving me again the edge in XY so underestimate it at your own peril

(i cannot put the spoiler in, i will put it on a quote. help!)
