  1. New weekly OST is up. It was hard to make choices for top 5, I loved this soundtrack so much.

  2. He mentions the sailor and "a young man and woman," implying three people.
  3. Yuuki's consternation was evident on his face. He looked back at the others for a moment. "This man claims the vessel has been repurposed, and the offer on the sign no longer stands." Turning back to the sailor, he signed a reply. "Why? What is this new purpose? There must be a way to work something out." He hadn't come all this way to meet with a dead end. Yuuki wondered if it was possible to speak with the captain and resolve this...
  4. "Oh." Yuuki had studied a bit of sign language in his spare time. It was an excellent way to examine nonverbal communication, and it had the added benefit of removing potential communication barriers. It was quite a while ago, but he thought he remembered enough for most casual conversation. "I know some. What do you need?" The scholar's signing was a bit unpolished, especially so as he executed the message as quickly as possible to keep his hands in the frigid air for the shortest duration possible before returning them to his pockets.
  5. Wondering if it would be too much of an ass pull to have Yuuki know sign language, or at least some parts of it. He has no reason not to, but also has no reason to know it...
  6. This shirt was totally worth. Got invited to an anime club (full of cosplay enthusiasts) because of it.

  7. Silef was still recovering from her attack when the Victonari flew at her. The best evasive maneuver she could manage in time was a maladroit dodge to the side that looked more like a fortunate stumble rather than an intentional maneuver. She barely managed to recover to her feet as the knight flew past her. "There has to be some sort of weak point we can exploit. No one is invincible," she called back, hoping Ress'nok had recovered sufficiently. She began gathering energy once again, breathing deeply, but didn't launch an attack immediately.
  8. Not sure if I should give in to my impulsive, impractical side and buy a sword.

Just make sure you use good quality dye and read reviews before buying, and follow the instructions carefully.

  10. As their attacks seemed to be having no affect whatsoever, and didn't even illuminate a weak point, Silef let them fade. She had no idea how they would get through that armor, but she was contributing nothing standing here. That and Dust's commentary irked her. She started to gather energy internally when Dust began to advance towards her, the earth rippling at his tread. She dodged sideways with an acrobatic roll, jumping through the air and coming deftly to her feet once she ran out of momentum. Silef began shouting as she planted her feet, bracing herself for what she was about to do. "You may be the mighty Lord of Heroes out of legend, but do not doubt the power coursing through my veins! I am a true heir of Asterlux, and our power has been said to rival the very heavens!" It wasn't said that way, of course, but Silef's intention was not simply to boast. Shouting moved breath and energy though the body, and helped the sorceress focus. The power that was building in her, the power she spoke of, showed very clearly as the noblewoman began to literally glow slightly. Her eyes became a golden color as she channeled the power, and her palms - which were both faced toward Dust now - were almost impossible to look at as the energy gathered in front of them. A short moment after Silef finished her yelling, she released the attack, which took the form of a bar of blazing, golden light that lanced toward Dust. She aimed for his chest; ideally the attack would travel too quickly for him to dodge, but she wasn't familiar with all of her opponent's abilities.
  11. 252 Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Diancie: 328-388 (107.8 - 127.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  12. By the way, if anyone can come up with a better title, please do. I'm actually not super happy with the current one. (Preferably something that translates nicely between Japanese and English; this is essentially based on anime, and is set in Japan.)
  13. I feel like mentioning that both Fate/Reborn and OSAF are still open for signups.

  14. As much as I'd love to write another update, I think I'll wait until tomorrow to give everyone a chance to catch up.
  15. Vixen and Bark The man's face twisted for a moment. "Hmm. Technically I am not to discuss this with magi until we have confirmed it as a group, but these patterns and this level of buildup is unmistakable." Ihdrelic shook his head and laughed, abruptly. "We really must stop allowing Mediators to take positions as fantasy writers." This was said to no one in particular, but his attention quickly returned to the marksman in front of him. "Have you ever heard of a tarrasque?" Noriko "I would tell her your true role as a proxy, yes. Trying to conceal information or fool her will be counterproductive. I don't know that you'll be able to meet her today, but I did get a hint that she may be expecting visitors tomorrow afternoon, so she's certain to be at her home address." Noriko's normally stern expression became somewhat more intense than usual for a moment, as she looked Nagi right in the eye. "This is the most important mission I've given to you so far. Remember that." ((After your reply to this, you'll be skipped forward to line up with everyone else.)) Gavriil Most of the week for Gavriil was spent either training rigorously or recovering from said training. His progress was slower than they had hoped, and the other Protectors noted how hard leadership seemed to be driving him. Today, however, was a bit different. He was simply told to be well-rested and in the training arena at 2 PM, and left to his own devices until then.
  16. Seyr looked around for a moment, neck outstretched as he searched for the source of the sound. Finally, he glanced downward, sighting the pixie immediately upon doing so. He backed away from her a few steps, then lowered himself downward onto all fours, wingtalons to either side of the small creature and head only inches away from her. It was like looking at prey from the skies, yet here she was, right in front of him. He angled his head back and forth, then finally replied to the greeting. "Hello, Jewel." He made an effort not to exhale too strongly at the minuscule fae. "I am Seyr. It is good to meet you." After this, he rose back up to a normal posture and looked back toward Zane.
  17. derp also, whether in-character or not, you seem determined to drive this particular source of plot information away.
  18. Vixen and Bark "Did I not tell you? I'm looking for relatively secure meeting locations. The Diviners have been detecting some. . . disturbing energy patterns. Types that, if my interpretation is correct, line up with our oral tradition. That is why I am here. What I want is for you to stop threatening me; I mean you no harm, after all. In fact, if I am correct, my interpretations may play a part in saving the lives of everyone in this city." He examined her for a moment, trying to discern anything about her emotional state other than aggression. She was clearly suspicious of him. "I'm not entirely certain what you want from me." Nagi Noriko nodded, handing Nagi a slip of paper with an address written on it. It led to a particular suite in one of the richer neighborhoods. "This person's name is Hikaru. Snow white hair, blue eyes, tends to hang around that building when she's in town at all. I'm convinced that she's something other than a grunt, because I can't think of a single reliable report of her being in combat, and there's plenty of information that seems to go to her. Got everything?"
  19. Vixen and Bark The man seemed to almost physically shrink when the weapons were pointed at him, drawing backwards and raising his hands. "Easy, easy!" he insisted in an almost shrill voice. "I'm a Diviner, or to humans another Mediator. I am Ihdrelic. There is no need for hostility. What is this city coming to, that one of us cannot feel comfortable in the company of two experienced magi?" He remained with his hands up, however, waiting for the duo to cease threatening his life. "I was simply looking for a suitable meeting location."
