It's been confirmed that Ash's special Greninja form isn't just a cosmetic thing, and it gets a power boost similar to Mega Evolution. And remember how that poster in Corocoro showed him with a Mega Sceptile as well? Is he seriously getting the equivalent of TWO megas? What's crazier is that since Greninja doesn't require a mega ring to evolve, that means he could conceivably use them both in the same battle!
