Well, we finally know what the rainbow candies in Shuffle are. They're called "Mega Speedups" and you feed them to your Pokemon to make them mega evolve a bit faster. Only known way to get them right now is through events. No, not even microtransactions, suprisingly. Also, it's implied there are more enhancement items like this to come.
