A Garchomp wouldn't expect defensive Ice types because in gen 4 there were none. Also you've completely misunderstood my posts. I wasn't saying that they're underpowered etc, just that they aren't bad game design.

*Nods*. Avalugg DOES tend to be rare, but I've come unstuck against it more times than I care to remember [having HJK from mega Blaziken not even triggering sturdy is not fun]. One of the reasons I put more special in my team was because an Avalugg swept 4 of my team [after my specials were dead], as I couldn't deal enough damage to it to out-damage recover. I think it's one of those Mons [like Articuno in 6th] that while it won't ever be OU, it's worth remembering that it DOES get used, however rarely.

What about things like Glaceon? Back in gen 4, Glaceon was the only check to Yache Garchomp, as it could take a Stone Edge and then OHKO with Ice Beam [even with Yache]. And in 6th gen, Avalugg has such high defense and hp, it can tank anything physical [i mean, taking 45% from a +2 fire punch from Dragonite]. Stone Edge won't help you there.

It's IVs are meh. It has 2 perfects [Japanese Ditto and 5IV Ralts]. Nature is fine though. [fyi, people should only start breeding for shinys when they get Pokebank and the shiny charm].

Ok, before I post, stop giving it Sludge Bomb over Sludge Wave. This is my set, both in-game and on PO. Coverage Wall [Goodra] (F) @ [Assault Vest] Trait: [Gooey] EVs: [4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef] [Calm] Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Dragon Pulse - Focus Blast - Flamethrower - Ice Beam This set has worked wonders for me, as it can get an SE hit on 90% of the metagame. Dragon Pulse is the basic STAB. Focus Blast is for TTar/Heatran/etc, Flamethrower ruins Forretress/Ferrothorn/Scizor Ice Beam takes out Gliscor, and other things with x4 Ice Weaknesses. This thing has insanely high special defense, it can take anything. The only special attacker you should ever switch it out against is a Togekiss, because it has Roost, and even though Dazzling Gleam will only do 15% or so, it can't win a stall war. True, it could run Sludge Wave instead, but when I tested that, this set made it better overall. Gooey ruins any physical attacks that might want to take it out, especially Khangaskhan, which gets a -2 speed boost from any attack. Using Power-up punch or fake out will give it a -2 speed boost, allowing Goodra to focus blast it, then focus blast it next turn to KO. And it has enough HP that Power-up punch won't KO it.

By getting the pass that lets you access higher floors.

I hate Smogon because a) they have stupid tiers which they pick in stupid ways, and don't reverse even when 99% of the userbase is against it, b ) they're all arrogant, and c) We'll be here all day so I'll stop at 2.

Considering that everybody who had BW2 has a shiny Haxorus...Not really.

He already said Absol is there because he likes it. As for Skarm, I'd use Whirlwind/Rocks/Spikes/Roost. You're essentially toast against any Defoggers [or spinners] once Skarm dies, but other than that it would be a pretty solid team.

He is. I'm still debating over to stick in rapid spin over curse or toxic. The simple fact is, hazards just haven't been a problem for me thus far.
