Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
Tacos replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Long overdue post is long overdue. This time, Delilah saw it coming a mile away. But because of her lowered defenses, she wasn't able to get away in time, taking the Metal Claw to the face and sliding backwards into the electric wall. There was a flash of horror in her eyes before she realized it wasn't affecting her. Ryan couldn't help but giggle at how simple headed Delilah was. I really need to teach her some things. Hope she still remembers our code words. "Blinding Assault!" Delilah looked confused for a moment before remembering the maneuver they had worked on. Delilah began rubbing her feet against the ground before breaking out into a charge towards Kiai. However, it wasn't the charge that was intimidating, but what came next. Her tusks became encased in ice and suddenly two ice shards shot out of them, heading directly for Kiai's eyes.- 1255 replies

I'm guessing that's about the Saphira bubble magazine cover thing? Might be infringing on Rule 7 a bit. If you can find a way to make it not too sexual I think it would be alright.

Whoops, I jinxed it.

Really getting fed up with the people who have no clue what they're doing in solo queue. It's hard to carry when 4/5 members of your team are always arguing instead of focusing on the game. This is why I'd prefer to have my friend the jungle main back because he truly is amazing.

Zander wasn't exactly ready to loosen up. While he had the patience for his peers to get their say, as soon as they were finished, he was ready to go. "I mean, if you're truly innocent, then I don't exactly understand why it would be hard to tell us why you're here. Things will probably be better if you just comply, Mr. Ayatane."

Chatspeak is unacceptable, not typos and grammar errors. The latter two are bound to happen, but chatspeak is something that can be consciously avoided. After having basically memorized the rules, I know for a fact that there is only limitation on chatspeak, not typos and errors in your grammar. Also, as for my lack of posting, I'm waiting for Silver to post before I have Zander do anything, considering they are the main focus of your recent recap.

Trust me, if I get paralyze, I'm going through with it. Challenges are more fun anyway. Also, just wondering, how do you think endure will here.

I've been using a wheel to determine status effects. Fortunately, lady luck has been on my side. Sorry about that Turbo, it was the RNG, not me. :c

Delilah was all but a bit too happy with what she had done, being able to get Kiai to take damage from the wall. In fact, she wasn't even paying attention to Kiai coming in quickly. Ryan did, however. "Dodge it Delilah!" Unfortunately, Delilah wasn't quick enough, and took the Force Palm. Fortunately for her, her defenses had become rather high, and the possibility of paralysis did not seem to be on Kiai's side that time. This isn't good. She's not on top of her game. I'm lucky she wasn't paralyzed, but if we're not careful, she might be next time. Ryan yelled out to Delilah. "Bulldoze again! Get him to lose his balance!" Delilah began slamming her feet into the ground, causing the field to quake, hopefully doing some nice damage to Kiai.- 1255 replies

We have yet to see young Lin. However, in Dangan Reborn, a creative writing piece that Ame had been working on, there is evidence of a character named Lin who had a correlative sprite that seemed to be of a young age. Also, it is of note that she seemed to have a more positive attitude in the story then the old Lin we know today. Also, as seen in other threads, people have compared the silhouette sprite seen on the opening of Reborn on occasion to the young Lin sprite. The two seemed to match up. There's also been speculation that whatever the silhouette was of, was the voice that spoke to us upon leaving Citae Arc D'Astrae. Now, we can assume there is a temporal distortion of some sort around Citae, as displayed with Adrienn. Xe had fallen down to Citae many years ago, however, xe returned with the protagonist having not aged and is now in the present timeline. Now, we all know of the malevolent Lin currently in the present timeline. Perhaps something happened with Lin in Citae that caused her elder form to be present if Laura knew of a younger Lin in the Orphanage.

Delilah was starting get irritated that Kiai wasn't bending underneath her forced will. But not only that, she was also irritated that she wasn't dodging more hits. Without a word from Ryan, she used Defense Curl and used her weight to push her away from the Vacuum Wave, but slightly closer to Kiai. When she unfurled, she thrust her trunk towards Kiai to try and shove him into the wall again. (Stats: +3 Defense, -1 Speed)- 1255 replies

"Defense Curl into Rock Slide!" Ryan knew that Delilah couldn't be as much of an offensive threat, but perhaps stalling Kiai out could do better. Delilah, always compliant, curled into a ball and began rolling, tossing pieces of the arena's ground into the air like rocks, cascading in front of her, attempting to block Kiai's attack path.- 1255 replies

She's not exactly going to outspeed a Lucario anyday. It's better that she drops it. I mean, what other reason would he have to copycat if it didn't lower speed? Especially if the damage is lowered.
