If you're talking about Exlink then he's being a martyr. He is going to die for the cause of leaving behind evidence to give away the mafia members. It wouldn't make much sense for you to vote for another mafia member.

Guys, please, this is meant to be a game. Sure simple taunting can be thrown around to mess with people but when you start insulting some specifically it becomes a bit much. We're here to have fun, not to make someone feel like shit. Play the game but show some respect.

Retaliating isn't always the smartest move. If this person was mafia they could very easily just strike you down at night. Retaliating means most likely that you have something to hide if they do end up lynching you, and that you carry a greater purpose than just being a placeholder towny or that you may indeed be mafia. People can vote for me all they want, it won't do anything cause I'm simply an irrelevant towny.
