Congrats on making it a year! I know it's been hard... **Looks at Tempest's profile** ...You joined a day before me. Let's celebrate our anniversaries together.... Like an old married couple. **Drools** Wait, did the birthday wall disappear...? I never noticed... Is there a specific reason behind that?

"W.I.S.P."- Interest Check
Flux replied to Sutoratosu's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Yep. You did a nice job cleaning that up, as I had no trouble understanding everything this time. I'm a bit sad to see a few aspects leave, but I agree that it is definitely a cleaner RP now. Well done.- 45 replies

"W.I.S.P."- Interest Check
Flux replied to Sutoratosu's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
This sounds interesting... Some parts are a bit confusing, but that's nothing wrong on your part. Just a lot to wrap my head around at once. I'm already in a lot of RPs and hosting two, but due to the relatively slow movement in most of them at the moment, I think I'll give this a shot. I would also like to ask about the abilities we may have though. Do we have as broad of a selection as in my RP, The Awakened, and Notus's RP, Under the Hill? Or is it more limited? (Which would actually make a lot of sense in this case, considering that the powers seem to be man-made.)- 45 replies

Under the Hill - Second Circle: Lust
Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Phantom reacted quickly as his wrists were grabbed. A portal appeared directly below his feet, causing his body to rapidly drop. He would close the portal after his fists safely passed through, catching Lara's arms in the middle if she didn't release him. He actually didn't know what would happen if a portal were to close with somebody half way through, as he had never tried before. He supposed he'd find out if she decided to hold on... -

Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Well... Phantom is the only one who can open the portals, so he'd probably have to wait. But in the meantime, you can have a nice conversation with Meridian. No worries, though, Phantom should hopefully be getting back there pretty soon. Unless he dies and then they're all screwed.- 1735 replies

Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]

He was portaled to the "mirror dimension," as I have taken to calling it. Phantom's power is a bit different than the portals Kenny makes. Kenny's portals take you somewhere and spit you out somewhere else instantly. Phantom's portals take you to another "dimension" basically. Everything around you will look the same as where you were standing before entering the portal. However, there is no "life" in that other dimension. The area will look the same, but there are no animals, people, succubi, whatever. (There are still plants, so maybe I should say no "sentient life.") Also, there is no motion. The plants will not move in the breeze, as there are no breezes. They will still move if you interact with them, but it's basically like time has stopped. It's silent, almost eerily so in that dimension. Furthermore, as I've stated a few times, that dimension does not support life. It basically will "reject" Mr. Taylor and Meridian. In my sign up post, I said it was like holding your breath while you are there. While not quite the same, (Mr. Taylor will still be able to breathe and speak there) they will begin to feel pain from being there. I would imagine that a person could last around a minute to a minute and a half, with the elderly and children being on the lower end. (Who knows though, Mr. Taylor seems like he was pretty tough in his day.) After about that long, the person will lose consciousness. It will take longer for them to actually die. Phantom has sort of built a "tolerance" to the area from being there so frequently. (Remember, he was wandering the library before you all arrived, and had time to figure out what he could do.) With such a tolerance, I would imagine he could last a bit longer, perhaps around three or four minutes. Anyway, this is why Phantom is in such a rush to deal with Lara. He can't just leave them there forever. (Also, sorry about forcing you into that. But if I'm being realistic, that is what Phantom would do in the situation, and I find it a bit unlikely that Mr. Taylor could dodge being pushed into a portal that was right behind him.)- 1735 replies

Attack on Titan Tribute Game! (Sign-Up/Interest Check)

Whatever pass works for me, but that time actually wouldn't be the best for me. I forgot about conditioning for soccer this week. That starts at 6:00 p.m. CST, so 7:00 EST, which means I'd only be able to join for around 20~30 minutes. So I'd probably only be able to play City if we keep that time. -

Sounds good, but you may want a different password. Something only Reborn members would know, like Ame or something. Chuckles and I encountered a random while we played with a password, who basically said "It's not that hard to figure out..." -

Was doing some training this morning and managed this: How the...?! That will probably work for me. City or some forest map is fine. -

Phantom raised his sword, bringing it in a downward cut towards the overhead foe, closing the portal at the same time with his left hand. It seemed that his foe was not going to make things easy. He was running out of time, and needed to finish this fast. The others were out of immediate danger; it was just the succubus and himself, now. -
Graterras Chapter 2: A Second Chance [IC]

"We are close to the Death Knight, I can feel his presence by the way the Earth revolts." Nero fought with renewed vigor upon hearing this. His task could soon be completed here. He would slay the Death Knight, for his own sake and for Steele's. He cut through the skeletons that approached, slowly making his way forward. He would trust in his sword for this battle; Illusion magic was of little help in an all out battle like this, and Steele had warned him that it did not work on the Death Knight anyway. -

Just want to clarify something... Did Lara already go through the portal? Or is it decided that Phantom has time to react? Unsure of exactly how close she is to going through... I don't want it to seem like Phantom has super speed to stop her or something.- 1735 replies

Phantom grabbed the older man as the snakes approached. "Come!" He spoke urgently, his voice closer to a normal voice than it had been before. Without waiting for a reaction from the man, he opened a portal and pushed him into it, letting it close behind the man, leaving Phantom and Meridian alone with the snakes. He knew that no one could survive in the other dimension for long, and surely not as long as Phantom himself could, having adapted somewhat to the place's conditions. He would need to be quick with his next moves. He ran towards Meridian, lopping off the head of a viper that got too close. He gently put a hand on her shoulder, opening a portal next to them. "Trust... friend..." he said, motioning for her to enter. Mr. Taylor would be having a hard time keeping alive in there, and it would only get harder the longer he stayed. -
Just popping in to say that the Forest Nation was actually where I would have preferred to end up. Sure, your types may not be the best, but they're where many of my favorites lie, and that matters more to me. You've got Nidoking, Muk, Gengar, and Nidoqueen. Poison's where it's at.
-
Yeah, we do have quite a few. There's also Heracross. I suppose we could try thinking something up with Froslass for battling the Waterfall Nation. It has access to both Psychic and Thunder/Thunderbolt. Plus, the Ghost typing will help against their Fighting-STAB.
-
Hmm, I may have to do some rethinking. I just realized exactly how much we have that's either 2x or 4x weak to Fire and Rock...
-
I would consider Cloyster as a somewhat viable spinner. He can set up hazards, though unfortunately does not have Stealth Rocks, but has moves like Ice Shard and Icicle Spear for some differentiation from other spinners. I prefer Forretress myself, but it's still an option. I'm definitely thinking of going with Scizor, Forretress as spinner, perhaps try some gimmicks with Aggron, and maybe go for Heracross. Beyond that, I have yet to decide. For future reference, I'd appreciate any crticism you guys give any team I post as well, as long as it's constructive. I haven't seen the competitive seen for quite a while, so this'll help me get back into it.

IGN is Fluxator. I thought I posted it somewhere earlier, but whatever, it'll just be easier to repost here than dig for it. Unfortunately I won't be able to join that session due to other matters, but have fun! -
Well, I suppose I'll nominate Dark Desire as well. I'd rather not have the responsibility, and he's pretty reliable. (He is staff after all.) On a different note, I'm pretty hyped about our typing. Here's a list of everything we can use for reference: List of Rock Pokemon List of Bug Pokemon List of Ice Pokemon And the megas we can use: Mega Aerodactyl Mega Pinsir Mega Scizor Mega Tyranitar Mega Abomasnow Mega Heracross And here's my own personal list of what popped out as potentially useful to me. Scizor/Mega Mega Pinsir Forretress Yanmega Heracross/Mega Volcarona Scolipede Tyranitar/Mega Aggron (Unfortunately no mega for us...) Tyrantrum Terrakion Mega Abomasnow Weavile Cloyster Jynx (To some extent) Mamoswine Avalugg Black Kyurem (If allowed) Those are my thoughts... Granted, I'm not the greatest competitive battler, so I may be off on more than a few of these, but this is what we have to work with.

Aervana #1 - Group 2 - (IC Thread)
Flux replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Nash sat alone at the edge of their camp, watching the wind blow the sand around. The moon was out, casting a soft glow over the wavy ground. The others were probably asleep by now; he had been at watch for almost an hour. He looked out at the Pillars, their mighty forms towering over the group even from this distance. They were a grand sight indeed, and the group would see their true majesty as they passed through them tomorrow. He let his eyes drift back out to the dunes. It was actually very calming right now, being surrounded by the sea of sand. Nash leaned back to look at the night sky. He picked out the constellation of Lagerius, the hero from the legends. He was sure that they would have need of his strength in their journey. As he sat up again, he was startled into a jump as a bloodcurdling roar shook the night sky. It made Nash himself afraid, though there was no way it had come from anywhere near the group. It had sounded almost as if... it had come from the Pillars. Nash steeled himself. They would pass through there tomorrow; there was no other way to the city from here due to the canyons that split to either side. They would have to be ready. He looked back to see if the others had awakened from the roar, but didn't see any movement among the group. They were probably exhausted from the traveling. He knew he was. They had come a long way, and trekking through sand required extra effort. He kept glancing to the Pillars for the rest of his watch, making sure that he would know if whatever had made that sound came out. (((Rhea and Alleria's watch can begin now. If you don't get it posted up, I suppose I can double-post something. We'll head to the next day after that.))) -
So it appears I got put here. Heyo.
