I think you are right, but that part of the guide is fairly new so there's always time to improve and fix.

They wont regenerate, but later in the game you get an item called Blast Powder which makes you able to mine the rocks again. (They disappears completely afterwards.)

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team was my childhood (together with Sapphire, Platinum, Ratchet and Clank 3, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and Cartoon Network Racing). There are so many good songs in that game.
