I don't know how or maybe I can't remember but evidence or logic has said that there's at least 8 and maybe even 18 apparently over the 4 islands and I do believe with the size and all the different locations on each island, there's not just one trial captain on each island but who knows until we get confirmation by GF showing more trial captains in time or not.
Why I was saying there was a normal one is because you have sophocles who is obviously not on the first island, same with lana and mallow (they are on the second island) and since kiawe has an alolan marowak, he's definitely not the first one due to the level of the totem gumshoos (around 15 maybe but don't remember what it was in the videos) and is in the volcano maybe on the first or second island you see so there's still one on melemele island even if we assume there is one per island because the normal totems are there on the melemele island according to serebii.

Hello everyone.
I have a question.
What are the stat caps at promoted lvl 20 and unpromoted lvl 20 based on? According to the handbook, there are no stat caps apparently so this is confusing when I would like to optimize my bases and growths.

It looks like no one has realized this but we have seen the normal totem pokemon being alola raticate and gumshoos but we have not seen the normal trial captain which has to exist. I find that interesting that we know about the grass one with lurantis, the water one with wishiwashi, the electric totem not known but not the normal trial captain who is first or second in the line.
I wonder what they will be like then.
Apparently the chinese riddler leaker is still revealing things if you google SM leaks, you can see them.

I have to give props to DR3 creators for making a scary looking girl/woman into such a likable character because as far as I know, a lot of people like Seiko and feel bad for her whole life events including me.
I would hate to just be used by someone and think we were truly friends like it is with Ruruka and Seiko. That's the worst ugh. According to what we see in episode 9 of despair, Chisa watches the despair video but we don't know that she is now brainwashed by it because other than smiling at chiaki when they meet in the secret hallway, Chisa doesn't look evil. Also Mikan can go die somewhere in a ditch for being mean to Chiaki at the end there ugh.
If Chisa like some have hypothesized, is the mastermind, traitor etc for the future arc, I'm going to be very interested and curious about the circumstances surrounding her plans.

Hey Pyon.
I have a question. When do you plan to get more PCs from members interested in this? When current ones dies if they do or is it over time?
Instead of NPCs you should consider PCs so that more people can join and have fun with this if you want to extend the party for example someone who would want to be a sky knight or monk and is sad you went with an NPC instead of recruiting a PC for them.
Just my observations but keep up the good work.

If the traitor is one of the survivors and not the mysterious extra person, I think this episode confirms their identity.
Ruruka's killer hated her, that's for sure. This means we can safely rule out Naegi (main character), Munakata (likes quick killing techniques, like slashing the throat and decapitating) and Asahina (interacted with Ruruka exactly once). That leaves exactly one survivor.
Ryota was there when Ruruka attempted to kill Kirigiri, killed Kizakura, brainwashed Juzo and got outed for killing Izayoi. Considering that he appears to be our Komaeda expy, with all the weird morality issues that this implies, he'd probably think that Ruruka deserves to die. Also, since this is the fifth case, we can make a checklist of the expected plot points:
* Brutal death (Mukuro, Komaeda, Ruruka)
* Deuteragonist dies (Kirigiri on the bad route, Komaeda and Nanami, Kirigiri again)
* Impossible case (Mukuro was killed before the fifth case, Komaeda arranged a suicide by cop to frame Nanami, Ruruka's case looks like a closed room murder)
* None of the deaths are exactly what they seem (Mukuro was killed by Junko, Kirigiri was innocent, Naegi survives, Komaeda arranged the whole thing so Nanami would kill him, Nanami was an AI). We can see something that looks a lot like Seiko's medicine stuff rolling away from Kirigiri's corpse and Ruruka's death looks very similar to Kirigiri's fakeout, since both scenes are overwhelmingly red and look straight out of Higurashi.
* The result of the fifth case is a very bad thing for the mastermind. In DR1, Junko let it slip that she was getting desperate. In DR2, Nanami's death united the group. If my theory is correct, in DR3, the traitor just outed himself.
You are very right that Ruruka's death was brutal like was that really necessary and was it even a stab to the heart that killed her this time?
When you say ruruka's death looks like a closed room murder, what do you mean? Ruruka was in the hallway preparing stones no so she was easy pickings? What do you mean ruruka's death looks very similar to Kirigiri's fakeout?
He had to kill the girl he liked. So why should those two be allowed to have their romance?
Kirigiri would've noticed if they were comatose, cuz they'd still have a pulse.
This isn't a theory, although it could happen. This is just an idea I had.
Chiaki doesn't die. As a result of Izuru being a thing, she becomes despair, leads her class into despair, is never captured, goes on to mastermind Mirai-hen's killing game. She's the 16th participant instead of Hagakure.
And perhaps, assuming Hajime's the one who really loves boats, he can go from Jabberwock island and confront her in the end.
I'd like to see that.

About the chiaki despair theory, disproven by the japanese intro song in episode 6 and on where everyone else has red eyes except for chisa (unknown because her eyes are closed as she falls) and chiaki (eyes open and pure). if Chiaki did join despair, her eyes would also be red. This theory would be better than Chiaki dying but I just don't see this happening.
Nah, Chiaki is pretty clearly representative of hope for the class from the audiences pov. Namely how Chiaki was the plug in DR2 meant to keep the hope simulation on track and how she kept the class together in side: despair as class rep. Her death would send them all reeling just enough for junko to get her fingers in the classes heads.
Very true. The japanese intro also proves that chiaki stays hope instead of despair because she doesn't have red eyes in the intro while the others do.

sorry to be troublesome but can you guys or Pyon outline how you calced the wyvern's wind sword damage taken because I hope you realized that wyverns are weak against wind in Fire Emblem lol so would the damage be more than 14?

Alola Arcanine based on a certain imgur link looks amazing though if it's the same design being planned for in game.

You shouldn't have done that without watching the episode but oh well.
The theory is that the person he loved, (forgot her name) she was the first person to die. Theres a theory that shes alive and faked her death like junko did in dg1
OH that theory. I know I saw some people mentioning that and I mean it's possible but why would Chisa be evil unless Junko got to her as well. At this point, many things are possible.

The killer is in the group but the mastermind is unknown. they could be in the building as the traitor or outside the building on jabberwocky island. theres about 4 people left. 5 if munakata's lover theory is real
4 people are left and like I said in one of my earlier posts this is less survivors than DR2 even sigh...: Makoto, Aoi, Ryota and Kyosuke. What is the munakata's lover theory though?
If the attacker is Aoi I'm really going to be confused how she would have become Despair after surviving the DR1 events.

Monaca most likely had the NG codes because she's been in contact with the mastermind, which is why she would know them and Miaya-bot would too. She said at the very least she knows who it is though.
I don't think Munakata ever really thought Juzo was the killer. I believe that he truly thinks Makoto represents despair and by killing everyone else off, he's preventing them from falling into despair.
Also if Ryota is the killer I won't be surprised, but I also really won't be happy.
I'm basing my prediction that Juzo was the attacker before on what people here were saying about kyosuke's worried expression when tengan told him who the attacker was if he did and since chisa is dead supposedly, that leaves his only other friend Juzo.

EPISODE 9 was just AHHHHHHH NOOOOOOO for me.
MY BAE IS DEAD because of Makoto.
I had a feeling it was her or Byakuya but OMG Monaka/Miaya robot had the NGs of everyone it looks like. How did she get that information? Well anyways that explains how she knew about the someone dying because of Makoto thing. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MY BAE! I loved how Kyoko was loyal to Makoto to the end despite losing her life and thus the hat guy died for nothing since he still couldn't save kyoko Ruruka I sort of get her despite not liking her much. She was just trying to survive and isn't that what we all would try to do best we could and it isn't all bad seeing as Izayoi didn't even hate her and understood why she did it.
Question now is who is the attacker because Juzo who Kyosuke apparently thought was it is dead so if he was then Ruruka would be alive by the end of this episode (her death was gruesome and I feel bad for her at the end there) but all that's left is Aoi, Makoto, Ryota and Kyosuke (even less survivors than DR2 apparently sigh...) so one of them is the attacker still WOW. My guess for attacker is Ryota now. He seems shifty and uncomfortable with the others and never shows his NG action so that they can't poison him at least.
The final showdown is coming assuming 3 more episodes so CAN'T WAIT.
P.S. good job to you guys who figured out they were under the ocean and moved (I saw someone mention that they were moved while unconscious in the boardroom)

Brace yourselves ladies and gents. Tomorrow could very likely be the end of Chiaki.
I fear this as well. I love Chiaki. She's the only one in the japanese intro (maybe english too) to not have red eyes after episode 6 which I found cool meaning either she resists and tries to help her classmates fight but gets stamped out in the process or she dies beforehand leading to despair for her classmates and leading to them becoming remnants of despair easily. Side note: I love chiaki and hajime's relationship/friendship and I feel bad for chiaki that hajime couldn't fight his inferiority issues.
That school council killing game was horrifying especially with the yellow hoodie girl and the couple who wanted to die together quickly but instead the guy got stabbed and the girl got stabbed on the floor through the guy with the knife in him by a shovel (what kind of twistedness is this) why the heck did that shovel guy even do that because they were going to kill each other by gunshot to the head? Also, I dislike how they all descended into madness except the school council president who apparently hid while it was happening. They could have killed girl with katana then been done and built cohesion among them to ruin Junko's plans.
I love Chisa so much. She's an amazing teacher and I was so sad when she was the first killed in future arc. I'm just like why would the attacker go for her first of all of them?
Onto the future arc, I believe ruruka should just die for killing Izayoi for her own survival. Other than flooding the place assuming the theory about them being underwater is true, I hope Juzo opens the door and escapes killing her. Kensuke or whatever the sword guy is called is so scary and evil looking now. Miaya robot is powerful to battle equally against him though. I really felt bad for Seiko throughout the arc chasing her friends who she wanted to kill for being used by them always even during the despair arc then she got killed by the attacker
I'm very curious how the attacker is picking their victim each time. These arcs are so amazing and I'm so excited for episode 9 and onwards of this but apparently there's a total of 24 episodes (12 for each arc) so only 4 episodes left of each. My source is danganronpa wiki btw. Let's see how Junko manipulates the 77th class within these last episodes.

My ace was the belly drum slurpuff CG used against me weeks ago lol and it worked against 2 but that skar proved too much defensively wise.
I'm happy I got to use my MVPs (pyroar, heliolisk, ambipom, cinccino, piloswine) once again to end Nations.

A request I think would be cool to have is darkrai coloured Milotic. Depending on what it looks like, it might be included in Pokemon Darkness as could any sprite you do in this thread.
I love that ninetales looking meowstic and I could definitely get my spriter to make it look more firey looking if it didn't have the tails and was just a recoloured meowstic so if you want to do that, I would really appreciate it.

Pokemon Darkness is looking for an experienced coder/scripter who has extensive knowledge of Essentials and RPGXP. If you or someone you know is interested in joining Team Darkness, please PM me or BlueMoonIceCream showing yours or their past experience.
If we can't find someone soon, BlueMoon and I will learn Ruby coding ourselves so progress on Pokemon Darkness can continue no matter what but we would appreciate finding an interested member who wants to join an amazing fangame project and to contribute their skills if possible.

Also, Guzma's hideout just looks like a punk hideout. Team Skull disappoints me greatly with those grunt designs and they just look like thugs.
Also those battles only have a couple pokemon each like X/Y which makes me worried about its difficulty.

In my opinion, Alola Raichu looks like it should be ground/fairy or ground/electric not psychic sigh...
Wishiwashi looks really cool as a concept but I think the ability is most certainly different than evolution because it's not evolving permanently but just during battle after a level.
Oh well I guess.
