  1. Mining Kit is all the way back to the caves where you rescued Victoria. You need Rock Smash.
  2. Into a powerful Star-... ..Sta-.... Starly.
  3. Garde Psychic is 40. Also to find Victoria in the cave place, just explore the different possible paths you can take when sliding down those ledges.
  4. Too bad the time you put into getting those is a waste since it's quicker just to spam Pickup with speedhack to get like 60 rare candies in a few minutes.
  5. Mawile. I always liked it, don't really know why. It's a giant pea with teeth. Not sure how I feel about its Mega-Evolution... but meh, I'll take it.
  6. Honestly this question is so relative to each individual because it really depends on the Pokemon you decide to use. If you just go with the "mainstream" strong pokemon you'll always have a pretty easy time defeating the gyms, although it also depends if you're willing to train Pokemon that have type-advantages. All in all, you yourself decide how tough each gym battle is: you can decide to make it super easy, or super hard.
  7. I would (and I did) pick Empoleon. He has good resistances due to his Water/Steel dualtype which will help you a lot against Aya, Serra and Noel. Once you get your hands on a Heart Scale you can get Swagger which will complement his/her defensive-ness really well. You can also use Bide to get rid of the nasty pokemon some bosses have, or just use him/her to heal up your other Pokemon. In the end Empoleon is great mainly as a supportive Pokemon. Having at least one bulky Pokemon is a good idea, in my opinion. Leveling it up will also be easy once you get to the Volcano. The Macargo there will help you keep your Empoleon at a good level even if you use it only minimally outside of boss battles. Its not that great offensive-wise because even though it has good Sp.A. it doesn't learn any strong Sp.A. moves until Hydro Pump and unfortunately you don't have access to good TMs like Ice Beam YET. However it does have a nice diversity when it comes to moves, including Drill Peck which makes it reliable against Fighting Types even if it has a x2 weakness to them (although obviously it would be more of a last resort scenario.) You're also probably thinking that Aqua Jet and Drill Peck are pretty useless since they're Physical and Empoleon has shit Physical Attack damage, but you can make it re-learn Swords Dance if you want to have a mixed build. Everyone and their mothers go for Torchick, so I hate it 'cause I'm a hipster trainer. Turtwig is a good alternative, though.
  8. Excluding the fighting types then: Kricketune can OHKO Cradily or 2hko it if you use Fury Cutter to swipe some of her other pokemon beforehand. Magby has STAB Flame Burst, it will at least weaken it. Trubbish can set up with Acid Spray so it can OHKO Cradily even if it recovers to full health. Flobot aint a big deal.
  9. For the second gym try out Scraggy (Slums after you beat Fern), Kircketune, Makuhita (Slums), Magby, Trubbish. Not gonna need all of them obviously, but yeah any of those should help you win. As for a starter team, chances are you won't have a solid team that'll carry you through the entire game anyways. Chances are you'll switch your team up eventually.
  10. If you're going for underused I'd take Adamant Dodrio, I think. It's not the wisest choice obviously. It has a weak movepool, but you can probably get it to work. It's a cool pokemon in my opinion, and it will help you out against Bugs.
  11. You can only get one Dusk Stone at this point in the game, to my knowledge. I got it from the Underground Railnet. There should be two doors that the tracks can open: one to advance the plot (the one that leads to Chrysolia) and one that lets you save a boyfriend. Go through the latter, and go down the stairs. There's a Dusk Stone somewhere there. Edit: Got ninja'd. GG Delhezi
  12. And here I thought I was the only one hearing what the Tepighead-on-a-stick was saying...

    Release 9.5

Did the same thing. Does it say version 9.5 on the title screen? Cause it just says version 9 for me. I'm preeetty sure it updated though, cause like... moving NPCs and stuff.

    Release 9.5

I'm planning on backing up my save and starting fresh, but I'm not seeing the changes RisingManes is seeing... Standing in the exact spot as his character, but the buildings are the same as always. I know the version updated correctly because the NPCs that were stationary before are now moving, and the lag areas run much more smoothly (although that has always been the case for me.) Super weird yo.
  15. There is a difference between training a team then farming for rewards and using cheats to gain the rewards. It's human to have a work -> reward mentality, skipping straight to the reward ruins it for me. You said it yourself, too. Speed hack gets you money faster, it doesn't get you money directly. That makes all the difference.

    Gastrodon Needs Me

I ... I don't really know if you can catch Gastrodon on Azurine Island. You may be looking in the wrong place, or the Pokedex is just being glitchy. This is what my Pokedex tells me.
  17. Make baby Growls, then you can have both.
  18. Serra 'cause I didn't use any fire-types or weather changing Pokemon. I thought Shade and Noel were challenging as well. Rest were pretty "meh".
  19. Meowth > Phanpy I am just saying. They got me 300k without selling any of the items they picked up.
  20. OHHH GUUURL~~~ FEELS SO GOOOOOOD GUUUUURL~~~ Man Khayoz, thanks for giving me the motivation to do this. I literally have too much stuff now though. I think I ruined Epi 10 for myself. With all these Max Revives, Full Restores and Hyper Potions... I'm gonna need to do a mini-Nuzlocke where I don't use items during fights now.
  21. Man, I used ALL them wits against those Nuzleaf. HAHA they didn't know who they were messing with. I just MENTALLY OUTPLAYED them so hard. Oh man I was so smart those dumb woodbirds didn't know what hit 'em. Their wits just got destroyed by my wits. What? Taka did what? No... I'm pretty sure I just outwitted them with my smarts, ok. Joking aside I agree that Rhodochrine was a good dungeon. I know that there are these "Healing Point Obelisks" planned out, but I did very much enjoy finding stranded people in Rhodochrine Jungle. The guy that shared his supplies with me in particular left a standing impression. Sometimes NPCs do give the dungeon a tinsy bit more character. I think that, instead of a stone, I'd prefer having another character heal my Pokemon. I'm not saying they should have back-stories or intricate characters designs - maybe just something that sets them apart from the rest. I think it's nice to see hermits idling, trainers training, explorers exploring throughout the dungeons. (Unless that dungeon isn't accessible to anyone but you.) Having people like those help you out and let you rest with them would be kind of cool. You could even go beyond that and have some of them temporarily and OPTIONALLY join you to form a two-man team as you both try and explore so-and-so dungeon. And then you never see them again!
  22. Dungeons I enjoyed most "Abandoned" PowerPlantIt made a great impression. Those times Shade just pops out for a second while the lights flicker on? MMMM SO GOOD GIRL~~~ It doesn't have to be Shade, though. I love the "SPOOKY" motif and if there is any Pokemon game that can at least partially pull it off, it is Reborn. A Luigi's Mansion-esque dungeon? Sign me up. Now... I know though that most of the ghost types already got their own little event, so there aren't many Pokemon left that can pull off the "Shade" role. (Really hoping Dusknoir will be a side-story boss, though.) Tanzan Mountain DepthsSomething about entering deep dark moist places appeals to me. Maybe because I'm a guy~ Aight joking aside, I loved the whole "Tremors" feel where you're facing an Abyss and there is a giant monster lurking around. Again, 2spooky. Atmosphere is definitely the leading enjoyment factor for me. Only reason battling all those annoying foongus' was tolerable was because I genuinely wanted to save Cain. As for frustrations, really the only thing I dislike is the fact that the encounter rate is so damn high in areas with puzzles. I really don't like solving a puzzle and being interrupted by wild Pokemon every 3 tiles. Although I do appreciate the wild encounter rates around areas that DON'T have puzzles, since they help with da grind.
