  1. I finally settled on Oranguru as TR setter, Amoongus as support with Rage Powder/Spore, Crawdaunt, A-Marowak and A-Ampharos as sweepers, and Cinderace as my "fast sweeper outside of TR" option. Currently after stomping Puppet Master. Again, thanks for the help everyone.
  2. I'm already after Florin, so Erick is not relevant anymore :P Agreed about Instruct, as soon as I come back from GDC, I'll visit move relearner. One Oranguru should be enough tho, I have Amplified Rock so my TR lasts a very long time. The only fight so far where I had serious trouble setting up TR was against Rift Chandelure, but managed to pull it off in the end. I see Torkoal mentioned again, problem is that this game uses Gen 7 movesets for older pokes so Torkoal doesn't get Eruption unless I breed, and I'm very lazy. Same reason I don't have Aqua Jet on Crawdaunt, even though I know it would benefit me. I'm also worried that these two have anti-synergy (Drought and water attacks) and there is no way I'm dropping Craw for anything. I am, however, using A-Ampharos now in place of Clefable and he's awesome. I definetly wanted to use A-Marowak but is it actually available in V13? I only found normal ones. Checked the walkthrough also and couldn't find it.
  3. My plan is to replace Poison Jab with Coil at 67. I wanted to run some coverage but Milotic's offense is not high enough to get reliable KOs without STAB. Lapras is actually ridiculously good because of No Guard. 100% accurate Sing is so awesome. Rock Slide is also great for doubles. And he has the bulk to take a super effective hit. But it's true that his coverage is kinda redundant. I think Aevian Ampharos would actually be great here instead, thunder and blizzard with accuracy boosting item. I'll try it out. Mienshao is a great idea also. I will also try one of the rock types instead of Clefable and see how it goes. Thanks for the input!
  4. Hello, I've started playing Rejuvenation some time ago. My mons are currently level 60, I'll be fighting Erick soon. The team I currently using is the following: Oranguru (the only TR setter available I think? Other than Porygon-Z who doesn't really fit TR imo) Brave, HP/DEF max Psychic, Foul Play, Calm Mind, Trick Room Hariyama (Fake Out is HUGE and has been immensly useful, especially in doubles) Adamant, HP max, Thick Fat Close Combat, Bulldoze, Fake Out, Knock Off Lapras (Aevian) Brave, HP/ATK Max, No Guard Rock Slide, Zen Headbutt, Zap Cannon, Sing Milotic (Aevian) Brave, HP/ATK max Toxic, Poison Jab, Play Rough, Gunk Shot Crawdaunt Adamant, HP/ATK max, Adaptability Crabhammer, Crunch, Swords Dance, Rock Tomb Clefable (absolute clutch mon and saved me many times) Bold, HP/DEF max, Magic Guard Moonblast, Moonlight, Stored Power, Cosmic Power There's plenty of game ahead of me, but to anyone experienced with Trick Room teams, please provide some feedback. I'm mostly interested in: - are those movesets ok or should I aim for something else, out of things I have available at the moment (pre-Erick)? - any mons I'll meet in the future that would improve this team? Thanks for reading.
  5. Mmm, Kingdra looks somewhat interesting, but it depends if we also get a Draco Meteor tutor. Otherwise.. the only noticeable thing for me is a Pawniard. Honestly I just wish we got a (working) Life Orb or at least an Expert Belt :x
  6. How exactly is Heracross worse than Scizor against a dark gym? Bisharp, Tyranitar, Umbreon and Malamar are one shotted, so all you need is something to take out Honchkrow and Sableye. It would be quite amazing against Radomus I suppose.
  7. A few facts. Talonflame is the fastest bird in the game. This makes Gale Wings a very mediocre ability in Reborn, as he will most likely outspeed everything anyway. In competitive battles this ability is good to pretty much guarantee a cleanup of a weakened team, but since AI trainers in Reborn very rarely switch and don't carry choice scarf (and let's hope they don't because player would abuse the hell out of that), their pokes will usually fight at full health anyway (and AI makes some horribad switches sometimes lol). Talonflame is also very weak offensively. His base attack is lower than Swellow, and if any of you used Swellow you very well know that his damage is very mediocre until you activate Guts. Again, in competitive battles, people solve this by giving Talonflame a Choice Band or Swords Dance, neither of which are available for him at the moment. Without either of these, this pokemon is simply not very good. The only way to get some value out of Talonflame in-game is to make him a part of hazard-stacking team, as an opponent who switches on 3 layers of spikes and SR might be weakened enough for Talonflame to sweep, however, same can be said about a lot of currently available fast pokes, while some of them can just set up on their own (try out double dance Diggersby. That thing melts faces. In game at least). In short, the only reason not to add Fletchling would be because it's a popular pokemon, which does not really sound like an argument to be honest.
  8. Yeah. Of course it does. HMs are not what make Pokemon games popular. Carrying a slave does not make the game any more difficult (for me at least). The only thing it does is it discourages me from working on my team properly (like, I never really bother with EVs), since I feel that the team is half-assed anyway if it can't be assembled fully, and juggling pokes through the PC is just annoying. Being forced to use obscure moves on my pokes just to cut a tree or being forced to carry a useless pokemon made just for removing such obstacles is what takes Pokemon out of Pokemon for me. I don't really care about it in "normal" games, as they're so incredibly easy that anyone can clear them by pressing random buttons (hi Twitch Plays Pokemon), so I always have high hopes when it comes to pokemon hacks. I was never really satisfied, though. No idea what Zeta/cron is, but since it was mentioned, I guess it's worth checking out? Not that any of that is actually needed to make any progress. This is just a game after all, and AI opponents will never be as good as other humans. Considering that we're already playing a game where a word "good TM" does not exist and a "very strong Pokemon" means "just a few that happen to be obtainable", I was hoping that at least this part could be made less tiring.
  9. It does not make the game harder. It makes it annoying. It doesn't matter if I can bring 1 pokemon or 6 if my Blaziken can sweep the gym leader either way (not to mention that most gym leaders and serious opponents don't need a HM slave to get to them). It gives you diversity, allows you to use a proper team the whole time. The game does not suddenly become easier because of it.
  10. This is going to be a simple, yet a rather interesting suggestion (I hope). Namely: how about adding items that replicate HMs? We seem to be getting more and more of these every episode. I'm already stuck with a HM slave, and it looks like that soon I'll need two. This would allow everyone to actually use a full team at all times, without having to drag useless slaves around just to cut a god damn tree or break a rock. HMs are generally the worst idea in the Pokemon games ever.. but I digress. The idea is: an item that replaces, for example, Cut (let's call it Treehugger), would only be usable if player already has HM Cut in his inventory, and meets the requirements to use it (a proper badge). Considering that this game already adds new mechanics, not seen in "normal" games, I believe that this simple change would not mean the end of the world - in fact, it would probably mean that it's the first game in the series that actually makes a little bit of sense.

    Arceus puzzle

No one posted the numbers for all statues (only green) and I am unable to watch the video because of my internet limitations (yes I know its 2014, but I literally live in the bushes), but still, thanks for actually trying to help instead of telling me how should I have fun

Could someone please just write up the numbers for each statue?
  13. That reminds me.. unlikely, but an option to disable field effects would be cool. For me personally this is more annoying than fun. Or maybe that was the point :x
  14. Access to Hyper Potions, good TMs and move tutors that actually teach usable moves. It's just annoying healing with super potions at this point, being unable to use pokes with poor leveling movepools without breeding (I'm too old to have time for that ;p), and I really want to use a Stealth Rock/Sticky Web Shuckle.
