It seems Pokemon with three abilities total (including DM ability) don't get their DM ability.
  2. Mysidia would equal to an all-out Special Attack town in the pokeverse. By the way Money_Man, I noticed your favorite book is 1984. Have you read 1Q84 as well then? 1Q84 is MY favorite book of all time (and a pseudo-homage to 1984). : D
  3. The obtainable Pichu shouldn't hide-and-seek though. Did you check the Rooftop Garden next to the Game Center? Anyways, really grapeful Nick. This guide is really helpful. Cheeeeers.
  4. . . . The Murkrows are the Origami Killer. ( ゚ Д゚)
  5. The town mascots can be a Plusle and Minun called Porom and Palom respectively.
  6. Joke was funny. Ame being in on the joke was funny. You people are running it into the ground though, Jesus. Talk about overplay. Anyways I think what Raze didn't realize is that the Starly is on the ledge.
  7. The fact that they spam potions so often is good because you can make them waste their 2-3 potions on their weaker pokemon. Then you don't have to worry about the harder pokemon. Shelly is a good example. Poor thing wastes all her potions on Dwebble even though she should be saving the potions for the pokemon she has that are actually a threat. If you're saying they should have less potions, I disagree. All of them usually have 3 potions. That's not a lot, at all.

You know where Florinia's Gym is? Check the student rooms, there should be a room with a computer. Talk to it. Talk to it reeeaal goood. aweot38wt0;;;3t12ngf0a3t
  9. Ditto. Or you can just re-start until you get fem Eevee. To get Ditto you must first complete the Daycare side-quest. Spoilers ahead: Talk to the Daycare couple and they will reveal they are Team Meteor masquerading as the Daycare couple. Go to the house directly north of the Obsidia park and find the warehouse key. Save the daycare couple from one of the warehouses. Check each warehouse, one of them will have a Team Meteor member talking about moving Pokemon to a different location. You can get a clefairy or something like that (I forgot) from that warehouse as well. Go to the Abandoned Factory, the one that Amaria helped you infiltrate during the plot. Go to the caged pokemon, you'll find Ditto in a cage. Move Lickitung to the cage below Ditto to get a rare candy. Move Makuhita to the cage below Ditto to get Ditto.
  10. Wow, that map is fantastic. As it turns out, I always name my pokemon after gemstones as well. I knew the game had some gemstone influenced names but only now do I see that most of my team has its name shared with a location in-game... //////// Anyways, that's actually really cool. I had no idea until now that the history of Reborn was so rich. : D It's so unfair though, I really want to meet Titania now. @_@
  11. My event activated after I beat Serra. I left the gym and when I went by the Pokecenter she teleported. I'm not sure if you beat Serra yet, if you didn't you might want to try that first and then see if she teleports. Important to note though that after she teleported I didn't see her at all until after I completed Episode 9.
  12. I guess I'll attempt at explaining reasons for favoring these three. Totally on the same boat with personwithbanana though, hard to uh, express my feely feels and stuff. Taka He is a really likable character from the get-go, mainly because he is a guy that seems to understand where you're coming from. You can't describe Taka as anything but friendly - except you know... when he tries to pulverize you... BUT HEY, who hasn't tried to do that to their friend some time or another?! His circumstances are also interesting; I'm not going to go into too much detail as I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't gotten to that part yet. In the end though, I'm just a sucker for nice-guy-antagonists. Cain What a great character to have as a rival... a genuine nice guy who is so far down the "PRICK" level that he actually goes into negatives... Fern, just... just stahp... GO AWAY FERN Serra I really love tragic characters that seem apathetic to their tragedy. Serra is just chill, like her pokemon. It's not that I actively like inactive characters that don't do active stuff, but Serra just seems like a genuinely cool person. Looking forward to seeing more of her, hopefully.
  13. But Cain is the nicest guy. :c Hilarious too. His singing ain't half bad. BY THE WAY, in Central Station, that girl that sings Metric - Black Sheep? AmeLetMeMakeACultInYourName
  14. Hi, so I've been done with Epi 9 for a while and I've been dilly dallying around acting all tough guy trainer catching ALL dem pokemanz and I realized that I had one deep penetrating burning question in my sternum: How did Amethyst think of creating all of this?! The Characters The Plot The Environment Exactly how creative do you have to be to create all these cool characters? Sure I get that some of them are a tinsy bit cliche, BUT HEY that's not a bad thing. So what was the inspiration? On another note, what are your three top characters in the plot? I'll go first. Numbah 1: Taka # 2: Cain Numero Tres: Serra I'd explain why but that'd take too long and I'm just here to chew ass and kick bubblegum.
  15. There should be a cave fairly early in the zone, on the north "wall." Go in there. There's a boulder blocking the way and you should be able to use Strength to move it out of the way. Edit: Going more in-depth... Go normally until you reach the building with the stairs, go up the stairs and you should be on top of a hill. There are four exits, you can go back to the stairs, left to the area you came from, right to the area towards Aya's house, and you can also go north by jumping off a ledge. Do that to get to the cave.
  16. ^ This right here. Don't you tell me you never got lucky with a crit, or had the opponent team miss with that super-powerful move that saved you from having to switch out. ' Besides, bad things happen. It's not like you can't re-try. What did Kiki's books say? Losing is a part of the game.
  17. HP: I can't remember the last time I was sick, honestly. 9/10 Strength: I do a lot of lifting! : D I don't know the max amount I could bench ONCE, but I can bench 5-7 reps of 120lb. 8/10 Defense: I get trashed around pretty often! In my youth, I used to have a sturdy built. I've gotten a tinny bit flabby though. : ( 7/10 Special Attack: i am teh dumbz l0l! 3/10 Special Defense: To be honest this one is weird for me. I can handle trolling and joking around on my expense pretty well, but I can't take serious insults at all. : ( 4/10 Speed: I try to run at least twice every week. : D 8/10 Edit: I just noticed, I am the exact opposite of my personality type: psychic. I am a person living in the wrong body, but I love this body. D:
  18. So you're saying it's better if the game has no difficulty at all because you can create your own handicap? Wooooooooooooooooooooow. That is just something else... I don't think you understand why difficulty exists. Yeah you can make it difficult by making your own rules, but that's YOU doing work, when it should have been the game. What you're asking for is to lower the quality of this game. Look: Every time we beat a gym, me and some guys posted screenshots of it. It felt like an achievement. We talked about it because it felt so good knowing that we're all experiencing the same difficulty. Nuzlocke wouldn't have given us the same feeling of achievement. Reborn offers something more than a Nuzlocke challenge because it's DESIGNED to be difficult, it's not MODIFIED to be difficult. I see Fern was right about some of us.~
  19. Uh, no. Maybe I'm confusing the gym leaders now... I swear I'm so forgetful... I strongly believe though that Walrein knows Stockpile (?), and in my case it spammed that so I couldn't hurt it. I had Burn + Confusion though, as well as Curse in case things went bad, so I didn't really have a problem. Mamoswine gets destroyed by a Special Fire type move... Ninetails will probably ohko it.
  20. By the way, did you get to her last pokemon? It's gonna try and do something. You're gonna have to see that and stop it before it's too late. It's not hard to do so, and there are quite a few ways to do it. I'm just saying though, be ready when it comes.
  21. You can get Vulpix from the beauty salon in Obsidia ward, if your friendship value with one of your pokemon is really high. By the way, you don't need Gardevoir either, eh? I wouldn't use Gardevoir anyway. Toxicroak and Houndoom should be more than enough to take out Jynx and Froslass... not to mention Gardevoir is pretty frail against her as she has quite a few strong physical attackers.
  22. Oh gosh, this was so far back I hardly remember her pokemon skillsets... I don't think she was overpowered though, I thought she was quite easy. What I personally did was Will-o'-Wisp, and Confuse Rays all over. It also helped that my team was a complete tank against her. Her pokemon experienced a slow and painful faint.~ The problem I think you have is that Crobat will get wrecked way too soon so you cant use him. Honestly if you grab a Ninetails, or a Magmar you should at least beat her... This is the team I used. The screenshot was taken right after I beat her.

Yureyu HQ is in Reborn City. Don't worry about it, you will reach it eventually as it is a plot-relevant location. You can only access it through the railway after you have the ability to use Strength.
  24. I love the difficulty. They're Gym Challenges not Gym Walks-in-the-Park. I also don't see any reason to complain about Florinia when the game gives you so many good pokemon to beat her: Kricketune? Fury Cutter can swipe 3-4 of her pokemon EASY. Trubbish? Acid Spray and anything dies. I don't even need to mention Scraggy and Magby. If anything, some parts could have added difficulty to them. I found Kiki and Aya to be a bit underwhelming. Seriously though - one of the best aspects of Reborn, although it has many, is the difficulty. It forces you to think before you act. It forces you to come up with strategies. It forces you to think about what is best for your team.
