  1. I'm pretty sure that you can only find Pineco in Opal, but if you go to Berly you'll find pineco, spearow and burmy, not sure about the others.
  2. Amethyst told me that if she remembers correctly someone confirmed it, but doesn't recall it. I still don't think it's been confirmed, but I won't try until I get confirmation.
  3. This game is challenging, it isn't an opinion, it's proven on multiple cases. All of the fights from Gym Leaders all the way down to just the random Pokemon Trainers you fight are all well thought out and meant to counter most of their weaknesses. Take Cradily for example. The only weakness it really has is a strong fighting type because of it's dual typing. The beginning of the game is much harder than it is later because you're limited on the pokemon you can choose and generally have to train specific pokemon to win fights. I'll just give a list of a lot of pokemon that helped me through the game and hope it helps you out some starting from the very beginning. Whismer in the early game is incredibly powerful due to it's Uproar as soon as you get it. Even if you wait til it's exploud it's pretty decent. Ekans eventually evolving into Arbok is another good one. Kriktune is also really good especially fighting Florina because it knows sing and Bug Bite. Trubbish early game is retarded because of how early it learns Toxic Spikes. Shit helps a lot in tough battles early game. Bellsprout sucks, but eventually turns into a Victreebel when you manage to find a leaf stone. not sure but I think the first you get is in a glowing rock after you get rock smash under the grand staircase. Another good pokemon I used early game was a the king of "Fucking your strategy up Troll" Butterfree. Knows every kind of status move in the game lol. Also knows confusion and has decent special attack and defenses. Weezing is pretty badass when koffing finally evolves at lvl 35. Scoliopede is another good one. No one ever uses one, but Golem is a pretty decent pokemon too and pretty much the best physical wall compared to Aggron. Tangrowth is an excellent grass type pokemon available as soon as you enter the forest (Just need to get it to lvl 40.) Rapidash, Toxicroak, Lunatone, Staraptor, Hariyama, Magnezone, Ludicolo. All really good. Sorry for the extremely long post. Don't shoot me. Hope it helps.
  4. Aggron and Magnezone are two very decent steel type pokemon, if you don't mind having a third pokemon weak to ground types, otherwise i'd recommend a Hariyama. Belly Drum plus Vital Throw will do absolutely devestating damage and because of it's bulk it can survive pretty long with half of it's hp, plus if you do manage to get it to 52 it learns close combat. OhKo anything like a boss. It's also resistant to Bug, Dark and Rock, which only your swampert is. Not much coverage, but I still use mine when I need to.
  5. Will there be cotton candy in said candy shop? I'm sorry. I have no idea what's going on and I just want to fit in.
  6. Thanks for promoting Arbok. I used it as my Poison type until I got a Drapion. Really underrated pokemon.
  7. It's hard to pass up a shiny pokemon sometimes, but both pokemon are good depending on what you need. Roserade would be the more chosen of the two mainly because it's speed and special stats are better than Victreebel, along with the fact that if you keep it as a Roselia until 37 it learns Petal Dance, which can be a devastating sweeper as a Roserade with it's high special attack and speed. If you already have a lot of special types though, I would recommend Victreebel because it's physically bulkier and has higher defense and regular attack. As far as moves it learns Leaf blade at lvl 47 and has decent damage to it. It also has pretty similar special attack and regular attack and learns Leaf Tornado at lvl 47 along with Leaf Blade. I don't think enough people give it credit, but it has a lot more utility as far as offenses and can take a hit (As long as it's physical) better than a Roserade could. I'd go with whatever you need more. (Tank/Attacker) Victreebel. (Sweeper/Special Attacker) Roserade. Both are good pokemon. Sorry for the long explanation. *Shuts up now.* Edit: Also you can find a Leaf Stone in rocks and a Shiny stone in the wasteland I think.
  8. It's a forum. It kinda is a chatting place. I don't get what you mean by that.

    Magby.

I know I tried so hard. T_T I was doing it for like 4 hours, but no regrets. *Tries not to cry.* No regrets..

    Magby.

Let me clear this whole Magby and Elekid thing up. Like most of you have already known Magby and Elekid can both hold their respective evolution items in the wild. In Diamond and Pearl specifically. Mainly because you can't find them in the wild in White and Black or White 2 and Black 2. But there was a 50%/5% chance of them holding it in the wild depending on the version. So as Amethyst has said many times she didn't anticipate them to be holding them. Electrilizer on Elekid has been confirmed by me and one other person (Sorry for not remembering their name.) There's a picture of it somewhere on the forums. Magby however has not been confirmed to hold it. My reasoning behind this is that it isn't a pokemon that is caught during a battle, it allows you to take it without any struggle. I've tried reseting to get a magmarizer on it about 500 times because it's much quicker seeing as how you don't have to capture it everytime, but i've still came up with nothing. It might be because it's not encountered in a battle and why Elekid has the electrilizer upon about a 1/50 chance. (Rough estimate and completely opinion based.) I would not recommend trying to soft reset for a magmarizer on a Magby, but it's not proven either way, so you're more than welcome to prove me wrong.
  11. I don't mean to contradict anything, but I averaged about 40 attempts to get an Electrilizer on Elekid and tried to get a magmarizer on Magby. It's not conclusive evidence, but i'm pretty positive that you can't get a magmarizer on Magby. I got to nearly 500 resets because it was much quicker seeing as how I didn't have to capture the actual pokemon. I got about 5 shiny's, but no magmarizer. I wouldn't waste your time even trying to reset.
  12. If the darkness is too much or is bugging your eyes, you can always change your computer's clock to a lighter time of day. You haven't experienced darkness until you've been in the Malchous Forest at midnight in a thunderstorm. Aside from that i've never heard of that pc issue, but i'm sure someone else more knowledgable can help you out with that. Edit: Come to think of it.. I just tried moving my pokemon around in the pc and I couldn't even do so. If you're moving your pokemon around, then that's really weird lol.
  13. My favorite partner during double battles was with Shelly. Her Scyther and Yanmega were great. Plus I really have a soft spot for bug types.
  14. From what i've learned, everyone in this game is a dick, an emo kid, a punk emo kid, or a transgendered sexual deviant. All in all, it's why I kept playing.
  15. The difference is that I respected Gary Oak. This fucknaut is an asshole, plus he isn't even hot.
  16. I know this isn't related to the topic and I appologize if I get in trouble for this, but would Pokemon having sex with other pokemon be considered beastiality or just speciation?
  17. Why are people so impatient. I just walked around like an idiot for 10 minutes because I knew it wouldn't just leave you there.
  18. I had Hariyama at lvl 25 that knew Belly Drum. Literally whiped her entire party. I also bought Magikarp and named it $4000.
  19. It's a lot of patience, but it's rewarding when you eventually do it. I've gone through like 400? I lost count to be completely honest, looking for a magmarizer on Magby. I'd still like to see a confirmation of it, but I doubt anyone's gotten one. I'll keep trying til like 5 or 600, but probably stop after that.
  20. Now as for Magmortar, i'm still trying to find one with a Magmarizer held.
  21. I'm positive Electivire is. Not sure about Magmortar. Determined to keep trying though.
  22. Me normally. No shave November. Sundays.
  23. My team still in progress of. Finn (Magikarp) Lv 15 Varn (Magikarp) Lv 20 Lysander (Magikarp) Lv 25 Roy (Magikarp) Lv 30 Clyde (Gyarados) Lv 40 $4000 (Magikarp) Lv 50
