  1. Kyrin isn't the type to butt into the affairs of others needlessly, and he rarely initiates conversation by himself. He is, however, the type of person to fully commit to solving a problem once it involves him and is willing to help others even if he doesn't get anything in the end. Though it's partially out of his concern for others, it's mostly to put his mind at ease. He's also very bad against overly energetic and optimistic people, and usually ends up arguing with them while focusing on the negative, but he occasionally shows flashes of bright motivation and outward confidence when he finds something he can put his mind into. Josh: Kyrin will find that there aren't many similarities between him and Josh, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll end up fighting a lot. Instead, he would probably end up following up on his sarcasm at times while throwing a few verbal jabs at Josh himself, especially about that magikarp of his. Dwayne: Kyrin's more conservative when it comes to relations between the opposite sex. He wouldn't really find Dwayne's actions acceptable, but at the same time, he wouldn't barge in between them unless the female is visibly distressed. All in all, while Kyrin would be the first person to call Dwayne out on what he's doing, he has no other problems with him, and holds a fair level of respect for him since he cares about his pokemon. Rose: Normally it would seem that Kyrin would find some kind of relation with Rose due to their similar family background, but the similarity is only superficial at best, so it wouldn't advance much further from that. He would definitely enjoy poking fun at Rose for her physical appearance though, and he wouldn't hesitate on pointing that out upon their first meeting either. He's surprisingly fearless in this aspect, and he would likely continue doing so either way despite her protests.
  2. There's no need to be so pushy about it. It's better to just wait on Josh to see what he thinks before denying him so hard.
  3. Room for one more? Name: Kyrin Rio Age: 17 Gender: Male Hometown, Castelia City, Unova Family: Father, and Mother. (He's an only child) Appearance: He stands at around 5"9 with a lean build. Kyrin has an angular face and fair skin with yellow undertones. Layers of black, choppy hair stretch out from the crown of his head like flattened grass and his eyes are of a darker shade of brown. He typically wears a white shirt underneath a sleeveless gray vest and a pair of fitting jeans, but he is almost always seen wearing headphones mounted around his neck. Personality: He is an increasingly dispirited guy of a placid disposition. As a child of a property development tycoon in Castelia City, he was born into a life of wealth and luxury; therefore, he had never really suffered through adversity in order to get what he wanted. Since he had neither struggled, nor tried in anything, he went through most of his life as an unmotivated student in school until he received his first pokemon. Dissatisfied with how he was spending his life, he decided to throw away everything to back himself into a corner in order to change. While he isn't necessarily spoiled, he's not very familiar with social etiquette and usually comes across to others as a blunt and rude guy. Despite this, however, he's good-natured and treats pokemon with respect. Kyrin is generally tired and worn out despite doing nothing and is a natural pessimist. He does come across as rather taciturn, but he's ready to voice any complaints whenever they come to mind. Hobbies: Training Pokemon, Resting, and Music Habits: Often sighs a lot, covers his mouth as he speaks, and rubs his temples when frustrated. Team: Elekid -> Electabuzz -> Electivire (starting pokemon) Shelder -> Cloyster Growlithe -> Arcanine Tauros Hitmonlee Evee -> Espeon
  4. Yeah, I suppose shofu's been bringing a lot of attention to this game lately.
  5. The game's day/night settings will automatically adjust to your computer's time, so you can set the game back to day by adjusting your computer's clock.. It's not much, but it's a quick fix if the dark is really troubling you.
  6. Yup. They've increased the chance of encountering shiny pokemon in the game. I don't really remember the exact probability, but it's high enough to see at least a few of them around during the first few hours of gameplay.
  7. The fire type starters are generally OP anyway. It really depends on whether or not you want that extra challenge. If you really want to take the path of least resistance, then I suggest you should pick a fire type starter instead.
  8. There's actually a High School DxD light novel as well. It's been translated up to its most recent release and it covers a lot more material. Then again, there are people who just don't like light novels in general. It's hilarious though, and fan-service aside, it's really entertaining because of the main character's perversion and straightforwardness. It's a good watch if you're up for something simpler.
  9. Mm. It's a fan-service heavy anime, so watch at your own risk. Do you know what's an even better anime this season? Free. It has the best plot of all time. Definitely.
  10. You should try the second and third season of the World God Only Knows. The third season just came out this season, so it's still ongoing.
  11. I felt that the SAO anime was way too hyped up and that it didn't really deliver what the fans were expecting. I'm pretty biased myself on that anime since I read the light novels first, but Accel World was pretty good. There's this really lulzy anime out (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Matter_How_I_Look_at_It,_It's_You_Guys'_Fault_I'm_Not_Popular!) that is killing me right now- and not in the good way. I read the manga for it and it was pretty painful. I can't wait to see how well the anime adaption turns out.
  12. You know what I'm waiting for? That Heimerdinger rework. It's been a year since the leak and I'm still waiting for my favorite champion to get buffed.
  13. You should also keep seasonal anime in mind too. There are about 20+ series that air weekly every season and some of them are really good. You can search the anime lineups on google if you want.
  14. Mmm. I used to watch Ben 10 a lot too XD. It was really good, but I felt like it kinda went downhill after too many seasons. It's kinda hard to recommend a good anime right off the bat. Is there anything you're looking for in a series?
