  1. As in, if you complete the gang quest is it basically unobtainable? I can see the derpy fake murkrow in Magmas hideout but can't reach it because I didn't activate it during the quest. If so, are there any other Dark special attackers? I'm trying a mono Dark team out and Scrafty, Honchrow, Spiritomb are all physical.
  2. Set 1 for sure. Power over safety any day.
  3. Focus Band + Destiny Bond or Perish song are your two best bets after stalling out his full heals. Confuse Ray is great because some very fast pokemon learn it and it's 100% accuracy.
  4. Hmm Gligar w/ EQ might be my next project...grinding a Trapinch is gonna be awful though. If I use a Fire Stone on Growlithe at any level, will the Arcanine begin learning T. Fang and F. Fang immediately? I want a Moxie Sandile with both of those moves and figured that would be the fastest way to breed it on.
  5. Took me a couple tries butttt. Ninetails Drought + Confuse Ray -If he uses any attack besides judgement I live, so stall him out of F. Heals. Ninetails dies. Blaziken in, Blaze Kick for some dommage, Blaziken gets like 2 shotted. Venusaur in, Sleep Powder GROWTH TO +6 BAYBEH SOLARBEAMS TO FACE As long as he didnt wake up before 4 turns there's nothing that's living a +6 Miracle Seed SolarBeam. I think that Blaziken dealt enough damage to take him out from a +4 SolarBeam though. If not I still couldve prayed for a Hypnosis with Gengar.
  6. I dont think you can get EQ on Gligar by breeding, he learns it via TM. Which means we won't see it in game for a long time I hope Ame throws us a bone and gives us another great move like Shadow Ball. That being said, Gligar is great, definite A tier as he walls everything physical. I need to train a Krookodile
  7. Gengar is one of the most useful Pokemon in the whole series of Pokemon. Low Defensive stats are pretty irrelevant considering there does not exact a sweeper with full type coverage, that much damage, and insane speed that is also bulky. You get him late simply because of his potential. He's hands down the best Ghost type in the game. I'm lobbying for S Tier, with only his "later" availability keeping him from it. He should definitely be in A Tier.
  8. My team has been able to sweep through, so far, every Gym Leader except 1 without a loss. Took a lot of careful planning, but doable. Noel beat me one time. Used Venusaur, set up per-usual, OHKOing with Solarbeam and then Girafarig had Sap Sipper My Gengar was underleveled at that point and SOMEHOW that stupid giraiffe was faster than my Blaziken. Knowing that the second time around I switched up set up and won.
  9. I didn't realize Fern is now Swag Jockey Fern until I watched shofus LP. God I can't wait to run through that scumbag again. We should be able to beat down Fern at least once per episode.
  10. Yeah they're incredibly powerful, especially seeing as my Venusaur can set up on most things. I wanna try a Sand team but there's too many key ingedients missing.
  11. Go, Drought Vulpix! Go, Chlorophyll Venusaur! Growth to +6/+6 :feelsgd: lol oneshot everything. Girafarig has Sap Sipper! -_____________________- Absolutely devious. I figure Ame did this to kinda halt everyone running Sun Teams in their tracks and by George it worked. Got swept by a Girafarig, forever to my shame. Destroyed Noel the second time around though.
  12. You can sweep Aya with Magnezone and/or Kirlia/Gardevoir.
  13. Shofu is absolutely hilarious, one of few LPers I can stand
  14. You can get up the the 5th floor in this release.
  15. You speak to him before you battle Bennett, I believe.
  16. You get Gastly in the Wasteland after you can use Strength outside of battle. That's about as spoiler free as I can get
  17. Short of the officers, I'd like to think that there wouldn't necessarily be 'bad endings' or ones that are worse.
  18. You can obtain Bulba, Mudkip, and Tepig later. Like others have said, the Fire/Fighting types are very powerful. Charmeleon learns Dragon Rage early which can carry you for a while. Ever tried Torterra? Learns Earthquake very early and has base 109 ATK which is pretty great.
  19. Oooooohhhh I might have someone make me an in-game sprite for the Trainer Sprite that I have in my sig why not
  20. Awh man the Obtainable Poke list was updated and no Litwick or one of the three Pokemon with Sand Stream
  21. That's how I feel about my Luxray and Gligar.
  22. I think a lot of that team will become much less useful in the near future. I'd consider the following. 1) Magneton>Pachirisu. Higher damage, better defenses, nuff said. 2) Gligar>Carnivine. Gligar will give your team some MUCH needed bulk. It learns acrobatics pretty early which is great damage. 3) Almost anything>Tranquill. Eh. Unless you reallllllly like Unfezent there's simply better options.
  23. Nice team! That sucks about Luxray, mine is a total hero
