In retrospect, I should probably reword that last paragraph slightly, as I have probably been too broad there. Not trying to talk about the community as a whole, just a specific subsection of it that is exceptionally problematic in one of its (placeholder word). Will be editing for clarity shortly. In any case, I'm still not talking about the community as a whole, just a specific (placeholder word) of a specific subsection of said community. Really, the concept of racial "superiority" is something I cannot even fully comprehend. I have to take a semi-objective view because I can't empathize with any truly subjective view on the subject at all.

While I completely understand your position on the matter of ethnocentrism, Ame, and agree on most of it, myself, you should probably keep in mind that Eurocentrism isn't the only ethnocentrism happening here in America. A distorted version of Afrocentrism does occur in some areas. And when I say distorted, I mean the negative stereotypes often associated with rappers and such. Fortunately, there are those who are trying to push it in a more positive direction. Unfortunately, they are less prevalent than those who are not. Then there's all those other ethnic groups as well. Can't forget about them. While I wouldn't say that some members of those communities are performing ethnocentrism of their own culture, or however the proper phrasing of that sentence is supposed to be, there will always be that one member of the community that takes things too far, regardless of race, religion, sex, orientation, or culture. So really, ethnocentrism isn't the root cause of itself, but something older, and much simpler, that I don't really know the name of because my conceptual cognition starts to break down here due to lack of background knowledge, so I'd really like anyone to point out the flaws in whatever it was I just said and please provide relevant information. Sorry if I sounded offensive, but this is a problem my mom has to deal with in her school district, as a secondary effect of ethnocentrism is that, silly or racist as this may sound, one of the (insert placeholder word here because I can't think of the right one ATM) of a subsection of the African American community (this is where that distorted version of Afrocentrism comes in that I was saying earlier) that I do not even know if it has a name (the one with all the sexist rappers), is that an individual of African heritage shouldn't be intelligent or have a "white" lifestyle, because it's a betrayal of their African heritage. Yes, I know, it's stupid and racist, but it is, unfortunately, an actual thing that happens, especially in poorer communities with a high concentration of African Americans. One of my mom's students is an exceptionally bright individual whose only reason for acting stupid and failing school is that one. Stupid. (placeholder word). So, all in all, ethnocentrism is worse than you thought? Damn, and I thought I was going off on a tangent there. In other news, those new character sprites are totes bitchin'!

Wait- it was possible to beat Garchomp?! In other news, I DO in fact, have a Wynaught! Almost got a shiny one, too, before I got a crit on accident and KOed it. Didn't check anything on it, though. And I was talking about the fighting moves for the Hitmon trio. IIRC, Hitmonlee CAN learn Hi Jump Kick. It was in Gen I. Can Hitmonchan learn Close Combat, though? Also, I have Grovyle, so obviously Treecko was my starter.

Do any of the Hitmon trio learn those moves? I've got a Tyrogue from that one scientist on top of the building on the westernmost end of route 1 that I've been itching to level up.

My plan- Hypnosis from Spiritomb until El runs out of Full Heals, then Hypnosis once more, then switch to Gastly for Curse. Reality- Hypnosis only has a 66% success rate, unlike its defined rate, making two consecutive Hypnosis attacks difficult enough to achieve, let alone three in a row. Also, Dark Pulse causes flinching way too much.

That... Might be a valid tactic. Alternatively, I could use one of my two Spiritombs. Or my Cofagrigus. Or my Dusclops. Or really, just an all-ghost team. In other news, the area you fight the Ditto-Arceus in is an EXCELLENT spot to train Sp. Atk and Atk EVs. Lots of high level Unown. EDIT: The Curse affliction will not work- Parson El has several Full Heals.

I've got a Bright Powder Umbreon with Confuse Ray, a Quick Claw Metagross with Hammer Arm, a Thick Club Marowak with Retaliate, a Miracle Seed Grovyle, a Flame Plate Magmar, and a Quick Claw Gallade. Any changes I should make?

Do we have any Natu alts? The difference is barely noticeable as it is now.

Looking at the sprites a second time, I actually realized I like B better, if only for the fact that the black part became a dark blue color that actually looks shiny. If it weren't for that, I'd say A.

You have to do it exactly the same way every time. nickaboo92 has a video on youtube for that part. Also, teleport becomes useful again around the time you start going for the 8th badge, assuming you have both the 10 and 10.1 versions of the game.

Hmm... While we're at it, can we do something about Paras/Parasect? I mean, the shiny coloring and the regular coloring were swapped between Gen II and Gen III, and they're really subtle. Maybe there could be something more drastic, like, I dunno, one that actually looks like a poisonous parasite?

Does anyone else find it odd that Beldum's Dream World ability (Light Metal) is more common than his normal one (Clear Body)?

Can someone explain the exact method to get Beldum? I can breed my Alakazam with my Gardevoir if it's necessary to get there. Beldum is one of the few pokemon I will go out of my way to do a long series of sidequests for.

In retrospect, Ame should probably bump up the pokerus acquisition numbers just slightly, as the vast majority of recorded instances of pokerus have been through trades, and you can't do that in Reborn.
