  1. Random list? O.o I scrolled through it kind of quick, since it lags up up my computer :I Salamence Roselia Lumineon Feraligatr Flygon Gardevoir Scyther Moltres Glaceon Toxicroak Kyogre Heatran Darkrai Cresselia Froslass Suicune Mamoswine
  2. BAGELS WITH AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [s]lolCainandhisyaoi[/s]
  3. [Sand Sweeper] [Stoutland] (M/F) @ [Life Orb] Trait: [Sand Throw] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Adamant - Frustration - Wild Bolt/Fire Fang - Crunch - Yawn [I love this guy but his English name is just.... ugh, disgusting. I'll call him Muurando forever. Anyways, Frustration can rip through frail or semi-frail Pokémon such as Breloom or Flygon, especially with hazards. Crunch hits Ghosts which obviously wall Frustration, and Wild Bolt gives you power against Gyara, Politoed, etc. However, Fire Fang is also quite tempting to deal with Steels. Yawn is a perfect platform for a set up sweeper. Yawn something, take a hit with your decent bulk, then die next turn, and they'll fall asleep at the end of said turn. Bring in your sweeper and set up for a turn or two.]
  4. [Shell Smash Sweeper] [Crustle] (M/F) @ [Liechi Berry] Trait: [Sturdy] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Jolly - X-Scissor - Rock Slide - Shell Smash - Earthquake [An absolute monster. First of all, spin away any hazardsyour opponent may have. Then, bring it in and get up a Shell Smash. If they switch, cool. If not, Sturdy saves you and gives you a Liechi Berry, making you even more devastating. X-Scissor and Rock Slide are solid dual STABs, Rock Slide over Stone Edge for slightly better accuracy and some chance of flinch hax on something really bulky. Earthquake rounds out the set, being a nice solid attack.]
  5. [Lead] [Mienshao] (M/F) @ [Life Orb] Trait: [Regeneration] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Jolly - Fake Out - Hi Jump Kick - U-Turn - Stone Edge [To be honest, I'm not a very big fan of this set, but it works. Fake Out if one of the best moves for a lead to use, breaking sashes and getting solid damage. Hi Jump Kick is a hard-hitting move, but Protects and Ghosts could screw you over, so use it cautiously. U-Turn let's you get out of a situation you can't handle and rack up damage, Stone Edge hits Flying types hard. Finally, while Reckless would be good to boost Hi Jump Kick, Regeneration is the superior choice to heal off Life Orb damage when you switch/U-Turn out.]

    Lapras

[Deliverance] [Lapras] (M/F) @ [Leftovers] Trait: [Hydration] EVs: [192 HP, 64 Defense, 252 Special Defense] [Nature] Careful - Curse - Rest - Waterfall - Avalanche/Ice Shard [Deliver pain to your opponent, and joy to your heart.~ Anyways, this Lapras is obviously meant for use in Rain, where you can Curse up and Rest off damage easily. Lapras is a pretty bulky Pokémon, with Curse boosting its defense and the EVs maxing its Special Defense. After a few Curses, you can start hitting hard with Waterfall, which is boosted by STAB and Rain, and your Ice move, Avalanche which powers up from going second, or Ice Shard which is priority to circumvent your Speed drop. Can be an absolute monster, though if you take away the Rain, it'll run into many problems.]
  7. [Scarf] [Nidoking] (M/F) @ [Choice Scarf] Trait: [Encourage] EVs: [252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Modest - Earth Power - Ice Beam - Flamethrower/Fire Blast - Thunderbolt [With its new toy Encourage, Nidoking is quite a force to be reckoned with. It's decent speed makes it a good candidate for a scarf set, especially since it has excellent coverage. You got your STAB Earth Power, then BoltBeam, and the choice of power vs. accuracy for your fire move. Thunder and Blizzard have considerably lower accuracy, and are omitted as a result.]

    Ditto

[The only viable set?] [Ditto] (M/F) @ [Choice Scarf] Trait: [Eccentric] EVs: [252 HP, 252 Speed, 4 Defense] [Nature] Jolly - Transform [3 things that matter. First, max HP EVs. Second, Choice Scarf. Finally, Eccentric ability. The rest hardly matters. I am sorry if I sound rude, but if you are using any other Ditto set, you are an idiot. Nothing much to say.] [color="purple"]It's possible to use Leftovers or something so you're not stuck with one attack, but you risk speed ties that way and relying on luck in that sense will probably get you killed. Something to consider, at least? ~So says Ikaru[/color]
  9. Just because it's a gimmick doesn't mean it's supposed to suck?
  10. Double Hit is only 3 points stronger than Frustration/Return, so why risk miss? It can break a sub and attack on the same turn, which i hardly iseful for a late game sweeper. Heck, you could just scrap a normal move and use Bug Bite + Brick Break
  11. By Mash's brilliant advice, I'll stop ranting here >> << Ame, I might get bored enough to continue my rant to you in PM >> <<
  12. Meh, if you make a triples team, there will be some leaders that do singles, and vice versa. Also, you only have 24 moves, greatly limiting your options. Be honest, who's managed to defeat most of the higher leaders without losing once or twice and changing items, abilities, etc. accordingly?
  13. So it's wrong to complain about something I feel is unbalanced just because I have no direct reason to complain? Yeah, sure we got this far. But how much counter teaming and trying did it take, eh? How many times did you have to battle Amy, and El, and others? It's hardly fun to have your entire team put to sleep, not be able to do anything because of a few evasion boosts, etc. /endrant Also, Doc's comment makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
  14. I doubt many would consider spamming sleep, abusing lack of evasion, abusing triples and doubles, and taking advantage of other tactics that are principally flawed and give an unfair advantage are very legitimate. Course, since when does anyone give s shit about what I say?
  15. Meh, most, if not all of the leaders have some sort of cheap tactic :I
  16. [Special Striker] [Zebstrika] (M/F) @ [Life Orb/Balloon] Trait: [Lightningrod] EVs: [252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Timid - Thunderbolt - Volt Change - Hidden Power Grass - Overheat [Fast, efficient attacker. Coming in on an Electric move and getting a boost is always nice, so remember that. Thunderbolt is a good STAB move that can really hurt, Volt Change is slightly weaker but excellent for scouting. Hidden Power Grass is used to take care of Swampert and hit other ground types fairly hard, Overheat roasts cocky Steel types, and if they've never seen it before, they probably won't expect a zebra to use Overheat. Life Orb give you a little edge in power, but Balloon temporarily relieves your ground weakness, so either item is quite viable. ]
  17. [Standard Shell Smasher] [Cloyster] [M/F) @ [Focus Sash] Trait: [Skill Link] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Adamant - Icicle Spear - Rock Blast - Shell Smash - Ice Shard/Shell Blade [Thanks to Shell Smash, Cloyster has risen above mediocrity to become a top level threat. This is the golden standard Cloyster, which exhibits the big advantages it has. With the crushing move, you'll double your attack, speed, and special attack, at the cost of your defense stats. Icicle Spear coupled with Skill Link is a deadly force, even being able to OHKO some Skarmories. Rock Blast is another abuser of Skill Link, and provides fairly good coverage. Finally, Ice Shard is usually preferred to hit other priority users, but Shell Blade is a decent secondary STAB option. Spin support is encouraged unless it's leading, lest your sash be broken and you be vulnerable while Shell Smashing.]
  18. [Physical Attacker] [Basculin] (M/F) @ [Life Orb] Trait: [Adaptability] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP] [Nature] Adamant/Jolly - Aqua Jet - Waterfall - Crunch - Revenge [Basculin is a good example of a lower tier Pokémon. It's rather lackluster, though possessing a few redeeming qualities. First of all, Adaptability along with STAB makes Waterfall fairly powerful, and Aqua Jet a stronger than most priority. Unfortunately, there's not much else, save for it's high speed. Jolly or Adamant is a toss up, Jolly is normally preferred for fast and frail attackers, but Adamant gives you a significant power boost which you sorely need. For that reason, Life Orb is used. Finally, you have Crunch, which is rather mediocre without STAB, but you might as well use it to hit Ghosts, most notably Burungeru whom soaks up your STAB moves. Finally, Revenge is another lackluster move, but the coverage it provides makes it worth using.]
  19. [Physical Attacker] [Archeops] (M/F) @ [Flight Jewel] Trait: [Weak-Kneed] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense] [Nature] Jolly - Acrobat - Earthquake - Stone Edge/Head Smash - Quick Attack/U-Turn [Archeops is a pretty brutal physical attacker, with a few tricks. Acrobat + Flight Jewel is a simple but effective combo, boosting your Acrobat to enourmous power along with STAB, and allowing you to fire off full powered Acrobats later. Earthquake is usually a good choice for a physical atttacker. Then you have some options, Stone Edge is far less powerful than Head Smash, but you'll avoid recoil, which is quite important due to his horrendous ability. Next, you can use Quick Attack for revenge killing and everything else priority does, or U-Turn which is a fantastic scouting move. Spin support is highly recommended, or else he'll be worn down by Stealth Rocks rather quickly, and be essentially useless once he gets below half.]
  20. [CB] [Escavalier] (M/F) @ [Choice Band] Trait: [Swarm] EVs: [252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Defense] [Nature] Adamant - Megahorn - Pursuit - Iron Head - X-Scissor/Frustration [You got two big things here, Megahorn, which hurts like hell, especially with Swarm, and Pursuit, to hit Pokémon that run from you, most notably Psychics who fear Megahorn. Iron Head is your secondary STAB, hitting fairly hard. Finally, you have somewhat of a filler move, X-Scissor can be used as a mini-Megahorn when you can't risk missing, or Frustration which gets fairly decent neutral coverage. There's obviously no reason to run Speed EVs on something as slow as Shuburago, so HP is maxed for some bulk. If you want to run him under Trick Room, change the nature to Brave and give him a 0 Speed IV.]
  21. [The best of both worlds] [Meloetta] (M/F) @ [Life Orb] Trait: [Serene Grace] EVs: [252 Speed, 156 Special Attack, 100 Attack] [Nature] Hasty - Psychic - Close Combat - Stone Edge - Ancient Song [OH HEY IT'S MILEY CYRUS. /endlamejoke. Anyways, Simple simple, mixed set. Psychic is your primary attack until you want to use Ancient Song to switch forms, then you can start laying down some hurt with your physical moves. Also, Ancient Song has a pretty good chance of inflicting sleep thanks to Serene Grace. Don't forget that your speed will drastically increase in Step Forme.]
  22. [Bulky Dancer] [Haxorus] (M/F) @ [Yache Berry/Haban Berry] Trait: [Mold Breaker] EVs: [252 HP, 100 Attack, 156 Special Defense] [Nature] Adamant - Dragon Dance - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Taunt [Rather than the standard "dance and sweep" dragon dancer, the goal here is to get 2 or 3 dances, boosting your uninvested Speed. Taunt stops Statuses and other annoying moves such as phazing. You'll be able to take a weak Ice Beam or two with the given EVs, Yache can help sponge a stronger Ice move, or Haban for enemy dragons. Dragon Claw is used over Outrage as after 2 or 3 dances, your attack will be high enough to compensate for the lower power, and you don't want confusion.]
  23. [Scarf] [Braviary] (M/F) @ [Choice Scarf] Trait: [Encourage] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense] [Nature] Adamant - Brave Bird - U-Turn - Frustration - Superpower [A good, solid scarf Pokémon. Brave Bird is ridculously powerful when Super Effective, though the recoil will make you want to use Frustration when both are at neutral damage. Superpower hits Rocks, Steels, and some other Pokémon particulary hard, though the stat lowering make you especially prone to revenge killing, so switching afterwards is recommended. Finally, U-Turn is the move that any scarfer dreams of, an excellent scouting move that racks up Super Effective damage on a number of Pokémon.]
  24. (Still trying to reach my goal of posting a set for every Pokemon)
  25. [Roflcopter] [Aerodactyl] (M/F) @ [Leftovers] Trait: [Pressure] EVs: [76 HP, 180 Defense, 252 Speed] [Nature] Jolly - Roar - Whirlwind - Sleep Talk - Rest [Totally lol, totally hilarious, and it flies, so it must be a roflcopter. Phazing in its purest form, with two such moves to accomplish such, combined with ResTalk do give priority to your phazing. Thanks to sleep counter resetting when you switch, you can switch it out, then back in to fast-phaze more. Problems can occur when you need to get a Rest off, but you just reset your sleep counter, and when you get Rest from Sleep Talk. Try not to use this outside of Sandstorm, or people will tear through his weak Special Defense.] EDIT: ROFL Mael ninja'd me for first set?
