The Investigation Corridor, Debriefing #3 Subjects: Corey, Heather Our people are still sorting through the insane amount of information brought in by agents in the field during the past few hours in relation to El, Luna, and Ramodus, but in between all of that chaos we've managed to acquire a response for one of our Corey tasks! However, during my battle with Heather (my first time meeting her, actually!) she let slip something despite her attempts to say nothing on the matter. Heather began her battle with what I assume is her normal chant of "i have total freeedom! total control! youll never beat me down!" MPLPrettyWindMaiden: a dumb one.[/quote] In her attempts to completely blow off my question, she succeeded only in giving me the answer I was looking for (see: theory 1). I proceeded to follow-up on our conversation by starting off with the sneaky line of "Excellent, I got my answer." Theory 1: Heather and Corey have a very strained relationship. Supportive Evidence: Many of the things Corey says to people and trainers alike have a tendency to be seen as if he is trying to make them believe they cannot do something, or that it is inevitable that they will fail. Likewise, Heather's comments all back up her claim that she is her own person, that no one can tell her what she can or can't do (see: above conversation). Could it be that Heather is trying to free herself from what she believes to be her father's oppressive views on life? And thus, in doing so, has made Corey's outlook on life even more narrow than it already was? Or perhaps Corey's outlook is partially to do with his daughter's refusal to have anything to do with him? What exactly does Heather mean by 'I left him behind?' We'll have to investigate further! Tasks: Get Corey to talk to us. Get Heather to talk to us. Find out what Heather means by 'I left him behind'. This debriefing of the Investigation Corridor is now concluded.

The Investigation Corridor, Debriefing #2 Subject: Blake Word on the street these days (or rather, gossip of the street) is that one of our gym leaders, the cool and collected Blake, has found himself a girl! Gossip: "In other news. It looks like Blake has a girlfrrrriiiiieeeennnndddd!!! o: Fun, fun!" -Miss Kitty, 8/11 Supporting Evidence 1: During the battles yesterday, Blake appeared impatient, demanding that whoever he was facing at the time hurry up because he had "someone waiting for him". He left quickly after the battle. Supporting Evidence 2: During my battle with Blake today, he was incredibly talkative (for Blake). I gleaned this from him, though I haven't yet been able to figure out what he means by it. I have a theory, though (see Theory 1). [quote]MPLBlake: Too easy. Or could it be that Blake's simply found something that makes him want to be a nicer person? Theory 2: Blake's had himself a kid! It's a little out there, I know, but think about it. Blake's found himself a girl, as he himself has said (see: supporting evidence #2). Yet, also as he states, "no one has said anything about" a girl[i]friend[/i]. Just a girl. And babies certainly take up a lot of time and can keep a person quite busy! Blake's proving to be difficult to get straight answers out of, but the Investigation Squad is on the case! Tasks: Find out who (or what) is keeping Blake so busy. This debriefing of the Investigation Corridor is now concluded.

I dunno, I kind of like Gardevoir. XD I haven't seen her battle yet, though; not till Friday. I'm interested in that.

Sadly, he declined our offer, but I am still taking this as a win due to the amount of conversation we managed to pull out of him before he departed for the night.
