I didn't, and my character is rarely not evil. Namely because Tenpenny Tower is bugged as fuck and causes frequent crashes. Also, Moira Lives and you can still do her questline. I've only blown up Megaton once in my life, solely with the intent to learn what would become of that Psychotic bitch.
