After having played it, I can summarize Undertale as follows: Barebones Bullet Hell with lackluser RPG elements throwing dry meme humour at you around every corner with drab characters who hold next to no depth.I don't get the games hype, even from a story standpoint it's lackluster at best. 4/10 at best, being generous, The only saving grace is the unique mechanic of multiple playthroughs fucking with later playthroughs.

It's an interactive comic, it's not like reading a book per se.
You won't finish it in a day, or even two most likely.
It's something you'll want to just read gradually. It's currently on hiatus until April, so it's the perfect time to catch up.
I, personally, read the entire damn thing in about three days to prove a point.

I would have enjoyed the puns a bit more if they were less forced like if they didn't highlight the word bone in every skeleton pun they made
I know it's just my opinion but puns tend to be funnier if you have to think to understand them
Makes them seem more clever and less annoying
Of corse the person I'm playing undertale with would disagree as he hates my puns with a passion but loves every joke made in undertale
