  1. I don't mean to sound like an ass, or, really I don't care. But if you're "triggered" by jump scares and such, why even fucking watch a horror Let's Play? That's half of the point of these games is to be scared.

      Jump Scares serve a purpose, regardless; and that is to build anxiety, you know it could and very well may happen. So, the anticipation and anxiety builds.

      I understand being a content creator and doing that, I am more directing this toward people who post Jump Scare times in the comments and such on videos.

      I literally don't understand why you would watch something that you KNOW is going to have jump scares when you can be thrown in to a panic attack by them.

      Call me an asshole, or say I'm careless or whatever; it just makes no sense to me.

      Even then, though, I do believe the majority of people "triggered" by them aren't really the type of person who needs that warning any way.

      People who actually have those types of issue aren't a dime a dozen, they don't exist everywhere and are certainly not going to be very vocal about it.
