  6. It is only natural that newer players feel a huge sense of accomplishment when they beat someone who they idolized. That being said, as you stated, winning one game against someone does not serve as an ultimatum that you are better then them. There is a lot more then just skill that goes inside one pokemon match. Sometimes your opponent could have a slight matchup advantage which would mean that you would have to win more 50/50s. Rarely are there ever matchups where both sides are exactly evenly matched. Even in mirror matchups (where both people have the same teams) there are 50/50s and things the players cannot control like critical hits or secondary effects from moves (such as burn from scald or flinch from iron head). The only hax that can be controlled are the moves that people teach their pokemon; even so, there are moves like stone edge and playrough which are not 100% accurate and do not have viable alternatives to them. In essence, unless you beat someone consistently, there is no point in gloating about one, two, or even three wins.
  7. Ayy, Yeah I have battled the team a lot and I think it is solid overall. As long as you play correctly you should be able to beat every type of team. Most of the pokes that threaten your team are the ones that can set up like sd weavile and volc with hp ice/giga/firemove. They will be able to set up on latios (if it dracos) so just make sure you watch out for them. I am not sure how I feel about three set up sweepers in a balanced team but it has somehow been working out for you so that’s good. Gengar usually has fun against most balanced/bulky offensive teams so you will just have to play really well against it.
  8. Venomoth @ Focus Sash/black sludge Ability: Wonder Skin EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Quiver Dance - Sleep Powder - Baton Pass - Substitute/bugbuzz I really liked using your mew/mega ampharos team so I was wondering if you could make Venomoth work as well. Smogon classified it as BL but I had never seen this pokemon used. Apparently with wonder skin it can potentially avoid taunt and other status moves and it is the only quiver passer o:.
  9. it's over https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/reborn-battlespotdoublesvgc2015-18041
  10. Doduo! *-* It is my favorite competitive LC poke. Hits like a truck with nice coverage; brave bird + double edge/return/hp fighting (only for pwn) + knock off/pursuit(if you have too many knockoffers in team). It can also revenge kill with quick attack *-*
  11. I have always wanted to make a competitive team with zoroark. I think that it is a neat pokemon since the opponent has to keep guessing if the pokemon on the field is the actual one or a zoroark in disguise *-*. Sadly (and surprisingly), they were all shit. Zoroark @ Expert Belt/Black glassess Ability: Illusion EVs: 196 Atk / 96 SpA / 216 Spe Naive Nature - Sucker Punch - Knock Off - Low Kick - Flamethrower I thought of this set because if it doesn't take life orb damage then it can be used as a disguise multiple times. Idk which item is better though. I was thinking black glasses since it has two dark moves but it also has decent coverage so expert belt could also be good. Choose whatever you think is best. Thanks!
  12. Mandibuzz with Charti berry pretty much counters all aegislash sets.
  13. Team doesn't seem that bad but it could be improved with a few nitpicks. Your team has a slight weakness to talonflame as it can pretty much sweep your team at +2 (can set up on volcarona/ latios[if you draco]) if your manetric is slightly weakened. Dugtrio also doesn't seem that necessary for your team since you have two water pokemon who can deal with it and a latios who can lure and trick it. I would suggest possibly replacing dug with defensive rocks lando-t since it can also set up rocks while tanking bravebird/flareblitz and intimidating pokes giving volcarona more chances to set up. Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe Impish Nature - Stealth Rock - Earthquake - U-turn - Stone edge you also get a psudo volt-turn core with lando-t. I like the momento + volc idea a lot tho.
  14. bruh, please clean up your rmt. Give some description about each pokemon and its role in the team. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3279 should help. Taking a glance at your team though, half your team is weak to rocks and yet you do not have a hazard controller. Belly drum azumarill will also have a fun time setting up on your hitmonlee and then preceding to sweep the rest of your team with aqua jet. Mega pert in the rain also causes a lot of trouble for your team as It out speeds and one hit kos almost all of your pokes with its stab moves. You should really test teams before you post. team rate: 1/10
  15. I believe in sparky *-* !! He will get the win in next theme tour!!! g000 SPARKYYYY! I'm you #1 fan c:
