All of these teams are solid, I have used many of the teams broadcasted here in numerous tours on smogon and have won with them (just look at most of OU fruitdealer replays). I would like to congratulate you on your 1000th post and also that it is really nice to see you improve a lot as a teambuilder and have more confidence in your teambuilding from when I first met you. Also, nice list of teams which do well vs certain playstyles. ORAS is heavily match up based competitively, and if you have the better match up you are more likely to win than your opponent.

It's a unique set, i'll give you that but solarbeam is not a good move on serperior. An increase of 11.111% in accuracy is not worth the slight loss of power + being forced to use it in the sun + not getting a +2 boost in special attack + making sure your opponent does not have a weather changer of their own + loss in oppertunity cost of using a better move. If you really want leaf storm to always hit you are better off simply slapping a wide lens on serperior. I don't mean to be harsh but you should probably test the team out in more than just 4 battles before you rmt it.

Individual battles should not show up in main. Tourney battles are fine though but sometimes people don't want others to scout them while they are battling.

Losing a physical wall in Mew may be worrying, but with Latios, you no longer are able to get swept by Sweepers (Depends on how many Dragon Dance boosts the opp has or something, but Latios beats a lot of set up sweepers/scarfers with Choice Scarf anyway). Your team isn't exactly a piece of paper either, so some of your team members (Clefable/Charizard-Y/Lando-T) can share hits that they take. Obviously that isn't the game plan, but you should be able to "play around" said mon. I personally would go with Choice Scarf Latios. Most people who use Reflect Type starmie are generally defensive builds. So in team preview, you should be able to tell. It's something like Scald/Rapid Spin/Recover/Filler (Usually Reflect Type or Psyshock, but I use Reflect Type in most of my teams). So, to answer your question, yes. Depends on the team it is used on though. If the team is offensive looking, it's LO. More Defensive variants of teams are mostly Reflect Type.

Looking at the team from a glance, SJMistery is right in that you have no revenge killer and you should carry one. Pokes such as NP Thundurus and CM Mega Alakazam will easily tear this team apart when you have no speed control in a somewhat offensive team. Yes, you may change Charizard-Y to Mega Manectric to check Thundurus(only if you mega before it comes in), but then Hippowdon+Starmie will wall you completely, if Starmie has Reflect Type and is played well. I am also curious as to your choice of running volt switch on mew, as opposed to u-turn, which can't be blocked (Shedinja, but that isn’t common anyway+SR checks it). I get that you are a negative attacking nature and having investment in special attack, but making sure you can always keep momentum seems more important to me than doing a little extra damage. You can also go for Baton Pass, so Pursuit doesn’t destroy Mew. Even though this team was meant to beat Defensive/Stall cores, they seem to give your team a lot of trouble (such as Mega Sableye+Chansey+Alomomola/Gastrodon and Stallbreaking Talonflame+Starmie). To somewhat patch this up, I would drop Healing Wish on Clefable for Calm Mind, and maybe Thunder Wave for Thunderbolt if you feel like beating Skarmory/Talonflame better, but that’s optional. To me, I feel like the weakest link in this team is Mew. If you were to change Mew, I highly recommend using Choice Scarf Latios, with Trick+Defog. Not only is it a revenge killer, it also uses Defog and carries a higher special attack stat to defeat Fighting types. Although you lose defense, the offense from Latios and high speed makes this an excellent change.

I was no longer the tour host :^). In truth, it is because reborn isn't as competitive oriented as it used to be. Most people just don't care and the theme tour is not as hyped as it used to be. my suggestion would be to make the prizes reborn rupees instead of reborn mons (Most of the competitive battlers in reborn don't care much about getting mons in a save) and making the themes less complicated.

Thanks for the warm welcome ^^ From what i have seen in Redemption League, you seem like a really hard worker and a cool person as well. nm tbh imo. But what's so funny,, Kamina is a really cool character so i wasn't surprised when someone else wanted that name as well. From the battles that I have had with you, you did really well. As far as I'm aware, to date, this the latest introduction topic ever made (3.5 years). That is pretty much why I am making this topic in the first place. the name Kamina comes from TTGL which is still the best anime IMO. I obviously play pokemon and I found out about reborn when i joined PO. Other than that i am a pretty good competitive battler as I have won my fair share of smogon/ PO tourny matches (although I have retired). I'm also a college student studying both econ and math. I don't like teaching people how to battle but if you need any quick tips don't be scared to hmu in forum or server PM. pce
