The Reborn Investigation Squad: Season 3~
Tringus replied to Kyoyoyoyoyoyoyo's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I will most likely be investigating Shade. For some reason last night, he seemed pretty happy, and I got to find out why. However, in order for us to find out more about him, either me or Secundum should probably investigate. That is why I will be investigating Shade. Plus, investigating him kinda fits me, you know? -
The Reborn Investigation Squad: Season 3~
Tringus replied to Kyoyoyoyoyoyoyo's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Well, these past few nights have been quite... interesting. Yesterday, Terra gave some... advice, and today, Shade spoke, and smiled. Heck, he even named some of his Pokemon after me and Secundum. Not sure if this is anything useful, but judging from my battle with him tonight, it implies on how I'm going to die. -
The Story of an Unlikely Hero: Pokemon Reborn Edition

Chapter XXXVI: Unfinished Business In Chrysolia, And The Mysterious Cave To The Mysidia Region! Before I continue my adventure, I'm going to take the time to finish up some unfinished business. This means that I'm going to go and catch any event Pokemon I might have missed, and any event Pokemon that I will need to catch before I switch to Episode XI. For example, I will be catching Elekid, and others. The first Pokemon on my list to catch is Bulbasaur. Lucky for me, I caught a Chingling and after many berry feeding, it evolved into a Chimecho. I head back to Azurine Island, and head into the old breeding center, where I find a hobo. He's happy to see a visitor, and tells me to bring a Chimecho. Luckily, I have one with me. I show him the Chimecho, and he chimes along to Chimecho's soothing bell. He then tells me that he caught something, but it was bad, so he locked it in the basement, and made it behave by abusing it! He says that I can go ahead and take it. I head into the room where Taka and Team Meteor was, and I find a Bulbasaur in the cell Cain was trapped in! I open the cell, and Bulbasaur seems to be wary and injured, and has its back turned to me. I catch Bulbasaur, and leave. I wish I could give that guy a piece of my mind, but I won't. I leave Azurine Island, and head to Apophyll Island, where I head up to Pyrous Mountain, and search for another Pokemon. Since I have HM Strength, I can use it to move boulders. I push some down holes. I jump over a ledge, and climb down a ladder. I then find a boulder in front of a Tepig! I walk up to it, and it runs off! Eventually, I find Tepig near the locked gate in Pyrous Mountain, and it runs off again. I head to the summit of Pyrous Mountain, and find Tepig where the PULSE-Camerupt was. Instead of running away, Tepig attacks! I throw some Pokeballs at Tepig, and eventually Tepig is caught! I leave Pyrous Mountain, and put Tepig in the PC. I then take out Luvdisc, and go to the girl just outside Apophyll Academy. She asks me if I have a Luvdisc (Which I do,) and says that she'll trade her Riolu for it. I trade Luvdisc, and receive Riolu! However, when I receive Riolu, it is a SHINY Riolu! It has an acceptable nature, ability, and stats, so I'm keeping it. Usually, I just use regular Lucario for my stories, but this time, I might as well use a Shiny Lucario. I leave Apophyll Beach, and then head to the Byxbysion Wasteland to search another Pokemon. As I try to find this Pokemon, I run into Misdreavus again, who disappears again. I head back to the Grotto, and I find out what happened to the PULSE-Camerupt machine. IT got teleported here, and it's buried in waste. However, I don't think it is the PULSE-Camerupt machine, because that was destroyed a long time ago! Now that I think about it, the Wasteland HAS been getting filled with waste... Mr. Bigglesworth was also in the same room as that PULSE Machine... That's it! Mr. Bigglesworth was strapped to that PULSE. So it was a PULSE-Garbodor Machine! But one important question is... How did Mr. Bigglesworth break free? I theorize about this, and then head to the Beryl Ward on a stormy day. As I enter the Beryl Ward I find an Elekid on the rooftops, but I need to find an Electrizer too... I decide to catch a Dustox for its hidden ability Compound Eyes, but it doesn't work well. I then decide to catch a Stantler with Frisk. I look in the Chrysolia Forest, and I find the girl who got teleported by Abra after I talked to her. She tells me that she got teleported here out of nowhere, and says that when she fell, she broke her leg, making her unable to move. She remembers me from when I spoke to her, and asks me a huge favor. She asks me if I can go to the Pokemart and get her some medicine. Since it's a lot closer now, I head to the Pokemart, and get her some medicine. I come back, and I give her the medicine. She gets back on her feet, and thanks me. She then heads back to Spinel Town, and I follow her. Since Abra is gone, it's easy to get to Spinel Town. I go to the girl, and she thanks me by giving me a Department Store Sticker! I head back to Chrysolia Forest, and a tree disappears when I am at the south end of the forest! I follow the path, and it leads me to the Lost Train... I go inside the train, and find the Captain's Log on the table. I then read it... Transit Log: Stock: 4,600 Pokeballs; 1,200 Potions; 1,200 Super Potions; 1,200 Hyper Potions; 1,200 Max Potions, 2,400 Full Heals; 800 Full Restores En Route to Reborn City via the Mysidia Region, order of SILPH CO. Transit: Empty Freight ...and a little bonus I picked up for my daughter back home in Mysidia. En route to Mysidia Region via Reborn City. Incident Record- An Emergency Stop was made this Tuesday at 11:53 PM. An unidentified railway obstruction has brought the vehicle to a halt. Suspected fallen tree or other similar debris. Though currently too dark to investigate, will do so in the morning. Approx. projected delay- 8 hours. Friday 9:12 AM- I've identified the aforementioned obstruction, though it baffles me. Specifically, an entire tree has grown in the middle of rail. I do not believe there is any such way I can clear it alone. As such, I will be returning to Reborn City to request assistance. Incident Record- Friday 1:37 PM In what I can only assume is an elaborate prank, I have failed to return to Reborn City. As I reversed the train down the same track which I traveled just yesterday, I found a large portion of the rail to be missing entirely. The wood beams are scattered haplessly between the trees, the metal has been contorted and in some places, is absent entirely. In light of this, I am unable to move the freight at all, and will be returning to Reborn City on foot. It should not take more than a day to reach the city, and assuming available resources, repairing the railnet could be done in as little as two weeks. Approx. projected delay- 18 days. Sunday 8:25 PM In the continuing saga of happenstances causing me to question my mental health, I have been unable to follow the track to Reborn City. The scattered wood and disjointed metal I mentioned before was a drastic understatement- entire segments of the track have been disapparated. Between the increasingly befuddling thickness of forestry and the baffling apparent deconstruction of the rail, I am unable to return to Reborn. In response to this distortion, I will follow the track on-foot the only way in which it is (relatively) navigatable: towards the Mysidia Region. Though it is a considerable distance to walk, I see no second option. Approx. projected delay: 7 days. Monday 5:39 PM It appears I was hasty in my evaluation of the forward-going rail as 'navigatable'. Though I have ridden this track many times I find the track going forward to be as distorted as it was going back. These woods are mocking, with trees so in and out and roundabout such that one feels as if they've gone in circles forever. It was probably by luck that I've stumbled upon this train again after having been lost in my expedition. I'll continue searching for any sign of orient. Thursday 7:18 PM It's now been a full week since I was stranded in this forest. Supplies in the train are diminishing quickly. I find myself rationing more and desperately hoping to discover a source of berries in the woods. It seems the Pokemon I obtained as a surprise for my daughter will have to be relegated to a gift of apology instead. Approx. projected delay- Unknown. Saturday 1:20 AM This nightmarish place knows no logic, and yet I think by a stroke of luck I may have found the way. When searching deep in among the woods, I have spotted an opening I did not recognize. As I followed it down a twisted path, I came to a cave- The very cave through which the rail traveled! I recognized the stone, but strangely, I could see no rail. Tomorrow, I will gather what supplies I have left and quit this place once and for all. Sunday 11:20 PM As if to taunt me with a glimpse of hope, I have not been successful in my evacuation. Though I left early this morning, and searched again through every hour of the day, I was unable to locate the Railcave from last night. At this point, and with as little food in left in this car, I will likely scarcely be able to make it to Mysidia alive... Wednesday 2:47 PM To my amazement, I once again found the same cave last night. To my chagrin, I was unable to traverse it. Though the rails linger inside the cave, they lead nowhere. What I knew was once as a sensible and one-directional tunnel now twists endlessly. As if my entirely life had been tossed into a kaleidoscope, I was unable to navigate the cave, and in fact, when I did finally find an exit-- It turned out to be the very way in which I entered. I've returned here for the night. I will try again tomorrow. Sunday 3:34 AM When even finding the entrance to a cave proves difficult, traversing it appears impossible. I have gone a precise way for these past few days, tracing my steps exactly. Strangely, it would seem that this cave can only be found on some days. Whether it is the night's moonlight showing the way, or the strong winds forcing the trees apart, I cannot say. But it seems like only nights like these can the cave be found. Strange, indeed... Wednesday 7:44 PM After exploring the cave and its nonsensical passages several times more-- I have reliably found a path to a certain cove within the Railcave, and I plan to relocate my remaining supplies there as I press forward. I will move forward as swiftly as possible with what little food is left, and my daughter's Pokemon in tow. For whoever may find this train, know the hardships I have faced. Know, too, how you might escape this labyrinthine woods. Should you find the railcave, remember the firection the walls move is no clue to traversing it. But as it may be, while they do not point you in the right direction, that appears to be all the guidance you need. Good luck, stranger. This is the captain, signing out. I head outside of the train, and notice that it's a windy night, with the moon shining bright. I head back to Chrysolia Forest, and eventually find a path I did not see before. I follow the path, and it leads me to a cave. This is the Railcave that was mentioned in the Captain's Log! I enter the Railcave, and find multiple paths, with tracks that lead to different directions. I head to the left cave, and get sent back to the entrance! I then remember what the captain said in his log, and follow the path that's NOT pointed at by the tracks. It takes me to another part of the cave! I keep following the paths, and I eventually find the captain's secret cove, because I find a Pokeball, and find the Pokemon that he was going to give to his daughter: An Eevee! I grab the Eevee, and leave the Railcave. However, I notice Eevee again, and it is a Shiny Eevee! I happily leave the Railcave, only to eventually find a Stantler with Frisk! I catch the Stantler, and head to the Beryl Ward, since it's a stormy day. When I head back to the Beryl Ward, I get Stantler from the PC, and head up to the Rooftops, where I find Elekid! I put Dustox in the lead of my team, and send him out. I switch him out for Stantler, and find that Elekid has an Electrizer! I then throw a few Pokeballs, and Elekid is eventually caught! Now that I have Elekid, it's time to catch the last Pokemon I need to get: Mudkip! The next day, I leave the Beryl Ward, and head to the Byxbysion Wasteland. I head inside the tall building, and find a nerd, who says that he's going to stay here for a while because of the rain. He says that I am welcome to stay and chat. He then tells me that he stays outside the city studies the various forms the wasteland takes, and the Pokemon that live around here. He asks me if I have seen anything strange, and corrects himself, saying that everything is strange here. He apologizes to me for asking such a question, and says that he's looking for something in particular... He believes that there's a Mudkip running around somewhere in the waste... He says that this is no place for a Mudkip, and that it belongs with fresh, open water- there's only muck here. He tells me that he wants to find it to get it to safety, but so far, he hasn't been able to catch it. He tells me that if I see the Mudkip anywhere, then I must do my best to catch it. He says that maybe someone around here has seen Mudkip, and that if I ask around, I'll find some kind of lead. I head outside, and wander all over the place, looking for Mudkip. I head to the Grotto, and find a secret passage behind the tube on the left! I follow the path, and eventually, a rock blocks my path. I go outside, and slide down the metal bar to find a cave. I head inside, climb the ladder, and head out the cave. I'm higher than where I started! I slide down, head back to the cave, but instead of climbing and going out, I climb and climb back down. I dig up the items from the rocks, and I move the boulder that was in my way. I then head down the path, and out the cave, where I find a Mudkip innocently wandering around in grass near an abandoned train. I catch Mudkip, and leave the Byxbysion Wasteland. Now that I'm done catching some important Pokemon I missed, it's time to head to Aventurine! Current Pokemon Stats My team didn't level up much, but there are PLENTY new additions to the team! Pokedex: And as for the Season 3 League, just look at the Trainer Card.
-
Well, if Season 2 counts, then... Make a (legit) Regular League Trainer Card - 5 Make a (legit) X League Trainer Card - 10 Defeat the 3 entry block leaders - 10 Defeat the 3 second block leaders - 15 Defeat the 3 third block leaders - 20 Defeat the 3 fourth block leaders - 25 Defeat the 3 fifth block leaders - 30 Defeat the 3 champion block leaders - 35 Defeat all leaders in regular league - 50 Defeat all leaders in X League - 50 If that DOESN'T count, then... Make a (legit) Regular League Trainer Card - 5 Defeat the 3 entry block leaders - 10 Defeat the 3 second block leaders - 15 Defeat the 3 third block leaders - 20 Defeat the 3 fourth block leaders - 25 Also, Would these count for Pokemon Reborn? Start an adventure on the Reborn Game - 10 (Otherwise I wouldn't have made a story) See 100 Pokemon in your pokedex in Reborn Game - 10 See 200 Pokemon in your pokedex in Reborn Game - 15 See 300 Pokemon in your pokedex in Reborn Game - 20 (As of now, my Pokedex shows that I have seen 349 Pokemon) Catch 50 Pokemon in the pokedex in Reborn Game - 10 (As of now, my Pokedex shows that I have caught 78 Pokemon) And for Forums, what does it mean by different posts? In the past, I know for a fact that I haven't used the item shop for the posts, so I'm not sure about the posts I've made... As for Ace Member... Become an Ace Member - 20 Misc Get /renamed by an auth - 20 (Because I have had to ask for my name changed up until my password was cleared) Am I doing this thing right, or is there anything I need to change? I'm not sure if I'm doing this achievement thing right...
-
Excellent question. What if we have already done a few of these before this began? Would this mean that we would have to do them again?
-
I have no idea what to do with the first idea, and as for the Shiny Kabuto Family... It's a tough gamble, but I'll go with silver. Looks a bit more... Skeletal than the red one. Though if the eyes were completely white... That would be even better. Then again, It's also good as it is.

The Story of an Unlikely Hero: Pokemon Y Edition
Tringus replied to Tringus's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Oh, sorry about that. My internet was running crappy late last night, so I posted what I had so far. The rest will be up today though. And as for Mr. Muffintops (Pikachu), He has been in my party ever since because it's kinda a reminder of Pokemon Yellow, and how Pikachu doesn't evolve in Yellow. Funny thing is, I gave him the same nickname in that too. I may or may not do a story of Pokemon Yellow, but I might one day. -
The Story of an Unlikely Hero: Pokemon Y Edition
Tringus replied to Tringus's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Chapter XXIII: Wulfric The Great Ice Storm, The Beautiful Snowbelle City, The Haunting Winding Woods, And The Magical Pokemon Village! As soon as I enter Snowbelle City, I can't help but cry, because the music sounds so... Sad. So... Tragic. Anyways, I head to the Pokemon Center, and heal my Pokemon. I buy seventy-one Pokeballs, which means that I now have one-hundred Pokeballs. I also find a girl who asks me if I know what a Gracedia Flower is, which implies that she'll give me one if I bring a Shaymin. After I do my errands, I find Mr. Bonding, who is lurking in the corner doing who-knows-what. He gives me an "O-Power", and leaves. I leave, and head to one of the houses just north of the Pokemon Center, and I get TM08 Bulk Up from a Karate Girl. I also talk to a man that says that Lysandre was his old friend. He tells me that Lysandre was trying to help people in need. Becoming convinced of people's stupidity and facing his own limitations led Lysandre to conclude that the world could not be saved. Which led to his suffering... It's ironic. I also find a man who will teach Keldeo and Meloetta their signature moves. I leave the house, and go next door, where I find a girl who plays the tune of Jubilife City as a piano cover. I leave, and then find a man who says that he has a daughter around the same age as me who set off from Vaniville Town on a journey of her own just recently... Could this be Shauna's father? I find Abomasnows all over the city, and I head to the Snowbelle City Gym. I find the Gym guy there, and he says that the Gym Leader is actually out right now. The Gym Leader told the Gym guy that he was off to the Winding Woods, if I feel like searching for him. I then head to the southwest corner of Snowbelle City, and head out into Route 20, or Winding Woods. It's dark and scary, but I get around. At LEAST it's not the Lost Woods... But even THAT place is too easy for me... I battle a lot of Fairy type trainers, and eventually, I find a really big tree. I continue my path, and eventually I find my way out of Winding Woods. I find myself in a strange place, and I find a fat guy in a blue coat with awesome looking hair, surrounded by a bunch of Pokemon. I approach, and they all run away. the man turns around, and asks me if I know what this place is. He welcomes me to the Pokemon Village. He tells me that the place is a secret, and says that most of the Pokemon here are runaways--escaped from bad people who did awful things to them. Maybe N could live HERE! Heck, we're STILL trying to find a home for that guy, because he lives in that ruined castle of his like a HOBO! The man tells me that it's a shame how many heartless Trainers who can't even bother to care for their Pokemon are out there. He says that some of these Pokemon, though... Some of them are just too strong and found they didn't really have a place in the outside world, so they came here. He then takes a look at my Pokemon, and says that they sure seem to think highly of me, and says that me and my Pokemon have had some good times together. He then calls all of the Pokemon over, and says that I'm all right. All of the Pokemon show up again, and he says that sometimes he gets worried, so he comes here to check on everyone. He then realizes that we haven't even had a proper introduction yet. He introduces himself as Wulfric, and says that he is the Gym Leader of Snowbelle City. He asks me if I want to challenge him, and I say yes. He knew that I wanted to challenge him, and he apologizes for the inconvenience. He then says that he'll be waiting for me back at the Gym. He says that before I come by, he would really appreciate it if I spend some time with the Pokemon here, seeing as it would do me good. He then leaves, and a Furfrou barks at me. I explore the whole village, and find the Pixie Plate while surfing. The Pixie Plate must be Arceus's Fairy plate. I then find a cave, and talk to the man blocking it. He tells me that there are really strong Pokemon in this cave, and that only the Champion is allowed to enter. I'll be back here when I'm Champion then... I fly back to Snowbelle City, and enter the Snowbelle City Gym. When I head inside, I see the Gym is gigantic. It's huge, icy, and lots of colors, too! The Gym guy tells me that the gym is an Ice type Gym (I already know), and doesn't tell me any hints since I already beat the other Gyms. He wishes me good luck, and I descend down the stairs. I battle the trainers, and as I flip switches, the whole gym flips around, according to the color of the tiles, and the color of the switch. I keep flipping the Gym tiles around until eventually, I find myself standing face to face with Wulfric, the Ice Gym Leader. Wulfric tells me that Ice is both extremely hard and terribly fragile at the same time. That means that depending on which Pokemon I choose and what moves they use, Wulfric could be my most challenging opponent yet, or he could be a total pushover. He says it's all right though, because that's how it should be. He then says that he's done rambling, and says that the battle will now begin. He slaps his belly, and the battle begins. You're right, Wulfric... Let's get this show on the road! Wulfric sends out Abomasnow, while I send out Lucas. I Mega Evolve Lucas, and have him build up with Swords Dance. Abomasnow then strikes with Ice Beam, but manages to freeze Lucas! I give Lucas a Full Restore, and he uses Close Combat on Abomasnow, knocking the abominable snowman down. Wulfric sends out Cryogonal, who gets wiped out with Close Combat as well. Wulfric then sends out Avalugg, his last Pokemon. Lucas knocks Avalugg around like a rag doll with Close Combat, and beats the giant iceberg down, which means that I win the battle! Wulfric is amazed, and says that he's tough as an iceberg, but I smashed him through and through. Wulfric is impressed, and says that my Pokemon fought with great courage. He says that he can tell I've trained my Pokemon well, and gives me the Iceberg Badge. *Trevo got the Iceberg Badge!* Wulfric says that as long as I have the Iceberg Badge, any and all of my Pokemon will surely look up to me and do their absolute best in battle. He also gives me TM13 Ice Beam, and explains what it does. He then says that he hopes I've learned a valuable lesson today, and says that being rigid can make me tough, but it will also render me fragile. He says that I'm better off being flexible. He says that some people are fluid like water and can adapt to their environment without changing what's important on the inside. He says that he's not one of them though, because he's too stubborn. He then assumes that's why he loves Ice types. After Wulfric is done speaking, the whole gym tilts around, and a crystal bridge is formed for me to cross to the other side. I slide through the bridge, wondering how the other trainers will get out of there now. I head outside, and as soon as I do, the Gym guy follows me outside. He's proud that I trumped Wulfric, and says that it's never a bad thing to test the limits of your strength. He tells me that since I'm such a star, that means I'm off to the Pokemon League! He steps aside, and Wulfric comes outside. He says that I have all the Gym Badges now, so there's really only one thing to do... He says that it's time I headed off to the Pokemon League! He tells me to listen up, and tells me to trust in my Pokemon, and there's no limit to what I can achieve! I head off to the Pokemon League, but before I cross the gate... I have one more thing left to do... And that is the Battle Chateau! I have to train my Pokemon to be the best they can be, so why not? Plus, Super Training also helps. Okay... Time to train my Pokemon, then it's off to the Pokemon League! Current Pokemon Stats: Most of the team leveled up a little bit. So far, Grimsley's speed is EV trained. Chapter XXII: Professor Sycamore's Return, The Mysterious Terminus Cave, And A Wonderful, Friendly Reunion! As soon as I continue my quest, I receive a Holo Clip from Professor Sycamore. He asks me if I have a minute, and says that he would like to talk to me face to face, and tells me to meet him in Couriway Town. He then leaves, and the Holo Clip ends. I cross through the gate to Route 18, which was blocked off because a horde of Durant was digging mazes there. I head into Route 18, or Vallee Etroite Way, and walk through the narrow path. I battle the trainers in my way, and cross the bridge. I find a house, and learn about Inverse Battles. However, there is only one trainer who does that, and he lives here. I battle him, and beat him. Inverse Battles are tricky, but they're pretty easy once you get used to it. I then find a cave. I head inside the cave, and it is called Terminus Cave. I battle the trainers, find some items, and head deeper into the cave. I battle more trainers, and eventually find TM30 Shadow Ball deep in the cave. I eventually find the Iron Plate, and my trip is cut short when nearly all of my Pokemon faint. So, I use an escape rope, and heal my Pokemon back in Anistar City. After I heal my Pokemon, I simply continue my quest to Couriway Town. However, I find another entrance to Terminus Cave, and find TM31 Brick Break. I then leave Terminus Cave, and THEN continue my quest to Couriway Town. I battle the last few trainers, and then reach Couriway Town. I head to the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon, and then I head up to the train station. An old lady gives me TM89 U-Turn, and then I try to leave Couriway Town, since Professor Sycamore isn't here. As soon as I try to leave, Professor Sycamore mysteriously walks up to me from behind. He apologizes to me about Lysandre . Professor Sycamore says that he's very sorry for all the trouble Lysandre caused. Professor Sycamore also thanks me, and is sincerely grateful for what I did for all of the Pokemon and people of this world. He says that by stopping Team Flare, I also saved Lysandre. How did I save Lysandre when he got crushed to death in his own HQ?! He tells me that he always knew that Lysandre desired a beautiful world... He says that maybe someday the population of people and Pokemon will actually increase to where resources become very scarce. He says that if someone acts out of greed in such a world, surely some will go without. If all living things keep acting that way, there will be nothing left at all in the end. Why, there won't even be anything left to steal! What Professor Sycamore really wanted was for Lysandre to put his ego aside and lead everything to greater heights. However, he never had this discussion with him, so Professor Sycamore is partially responsible for this. He then walks up to me, and says that he wants me and my Pokemon to take everything we learned from our journey, and hit him with our best shot! Are you sure, Professor Sycamore? Okay... Just don't say I didn't warn you! Professor Sycamore sends out Venusaur, while I send out Charles. Venusaur gets knocked out from Charles's Flamethrower, and Professor Sycamore sends out Blastoise, while I send out Mr. Muffintops. Mr. Muffintops then electrocutes Blastoise with Thunderbolt, knocking Blastoise out. Professor Sycamore then sends out Charizard, and I send out Grimsley, who easily wipes out Charizard with Surf, which means that I win the battle! Professor Sycamore then tells me that me and my Pokemon have very strong bonds by spending time together and caring about one another. That's why me and my Pokemon are so strong. He says that the strength I've found is simply marvelous, and... I truly love and trust my Pokemon! He then tells me that a treasure of his is hidden in this town. He says that if I'd like, I can try finding it. He then says that he'll be off, because he has many preparations to attend to. He tells me that he has a little surprise planned for all of us to thank us for fighting Team Flare and saving Kalos! He then leaves, while I go and try to find his treasure. I then take out my Dowsing Machine, and search everywhere. I find another hotel, and get TM55 Scald from a little girl who quizzes me. I then head upstairs, and guess who I find in the last room next to a bed? That's right... MR. FRICKING BONDING... He gives me another "O-Power" and leaves. After minutes of searching for Professor Sycamore's treasure, I leave and head out to Route 19. I cross the gate, and head out to Route 19, or Grande Vallee Way. I battle the trainers down in a swamp, and find some items. Once I get out of the swamp, I battle some more trainers, I then climb some stairs, and find TM36 Sludge Bomb. I then jump off the ledge, and go to the other path, where I battle some more trainers, and find some more items. I then find a gigantic bridge, and cross it... As soon as I am halfway across the gigantic bridge, Shauna shows up from behind me and asks me what's about to happen. Unaware of what she means, she tells me that we're going to battle. After all, we ARE Pokemon Trainers. Okay Shauna, but I'm not going to go easy on you! Shauna sends out Delcatty, while I send out Charles. Charles burns Delcatty with a few Flamethrowers and Delcatty goes down. Shauna sends out Goodra, while I send out Blaziken. I Mega Evolve Blaziken, and have him use Double Kick a few times. Then, Goodra uses Earthquake, and nearly knocks Blaziken down. However, Blaziken survives, and knocks Goodra down with another Double Kick. Shauna sends out Delphox, while I send out Grimsley, who wipes out Delphox with Surf, which means that I win the battle! Shauna says that battles with friends are really, really exciting, and says that the battle reminded her of our battle in Aquacorde Town. She says that was the first time for both of us to battle with our Pokemon! A moment later, Trevor and Tierno arrive, and ask us what we're up to. Shauna says that it's nothing big, but it looks like I'M the one that's saying that. Nintendo should have put that caption to the bottom right! She asks them if anything's up with them, and Trevor says that it's the same as us. Trevor and Tierno say that they heard about me from Professor Sycamore, and they came running as fast as they could. Tierno steps forth, and challenges me to a battle. Tierno... At LEAST let me heal my Pokemon... Oh well, you're next. Let's dance. Tierno sends out Talonflame, while I send out Charles. I switch out for Grimsley, and knock Talonflame down with Grimsley's Surf. Tierno sends out Roserade next, who faints from Grimsley's Extrasensory. Tierno sends out Crawdaunt, while I send out Mr. Muffintops. However, Mr. Muffintops faints as soon as he strikes Crawdaunt with Thunderbolt, because Crawdaunt survives and strikes with Night Slash. I send out Lucas, and I Mega Evolve him, while he knocks out Crawdaunt with Power-Up Punch. With Crawdaunt knocked out, I win the battle! Tierno says that he doesn't get that down when he loses to me, which seems kinda weird. Shauna is surprised to see Tierny battling me, and asks him what's up with that. Tierno says that Geosenge Town made him think... He says that if I hadn't been there, he wouldn't be dancing now, that's for sure. That made him want to get to know me better, and he thought a battle would be the best way to do that. He says that it's kinda selfish of him, but it's also a way of thanking me. Trevor steps forward, and tells Tierno that it's great when Pokemon Trainers like us can understand the hearts and minds of other Trainers and their Pokemon through battle. He says that before we do anything else, we should heal our Pokemon. He heals Tierno's Pokemon, and walks up to me, saying that it's my turn. He heals my Pokemon, and says that he will follow the crowd and be my opponent as well. But this time, it won't be about the Pokedex. It will be a Pokemon battle! Things just got real, Trevor. At least YOU have the compassion to heal my Pokemon. But that little mercy won't delay the inevitable, so prepare yourself! Trevor sends out Raichu, while I send out Charles. I switch out for Lucas, and have him use Bone Rush, which knocks out Raichu. Trevor sends out Florges, while I send out Blaziken. I Mega Evolve Blaziken, and Blaziken knocks out Florges with Blaze Kick. Trevor sends out Aerodactyl, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley wipes out Aerodactyl with Surf, and I win the battle! Trevor realizes that I'm stronger than he thought, and he gets down. He says that there is still much he doesn't know, and wonders if he just doesn't have what it takes. Shauna walks up to him, and says that she has never heard him worry about being weak or strong before. She tells him that he seems to be a lot bolder than he used to be, and asks him if it's because he went on a journey, and also says that maybe it's thanks to what he learned from being with his Pokemon, and with us--his friends! She then realizes that Serena isn't here, and wonders where she is. Tierno tells her that Serena's off training with the Mega Evolution guru. He says that Serena said that friends are friends even if they can't be together. Trevor agrees, and says that there's something that they must attend to. They all say goodbye to me, and he and Tierno run off. Shauna stays behind, and says that she's so glad she went on a journey, because she made some great friends, and thanks to her Lil' Fennekin that she met before we left, she was able to visit many places, meet a lot of nice people, and make many wonderful memories. She then turns to me, and says that she has a gift from her and everyone else. Maybe SHE will confess her feelings for me! She's had a few romantic moments with me, so it IS possible! She walks up to me, and gives me HM05 Waterfall! She says that even if I'm battling without the badge from Snowbelle City Gym, I can use Waterfall. She then says that she has to get going, and says goodbye, as she runs off, following Trevor and Tierno. ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME?!?! I GOT FRIENDZONED AGAIN!!! Whatever. I don't need anybody, because all I need is myself, and my Pokemon! I then cross the gigantic bridge, and I cross the gate into Snowbelle City... Wait a minute... Tierno said that Serena was training with the Mega Evolution Guru, right? That means... SHE has a Mega Ring, too! When I see her again, I will prove how much more powerful I am! But for now, I shall battle the Snowbelle City Gym Leader! Current Pokemon Stats: Everyone leveled up pretty well. Yveltal is in the PC for now, because like I said, he is only for important battles. Chapter XXI: Team Flare's Ambitions, Lysandre's Last Stand, And The Legendary Destruction Pokemon: Yveltal! After infiltrating Lysandre Labs, I fly to Geosenge Town, where I find everything in ruin, and Team Flare blocking every house, and every exit. However, I find that the way to Route 1 has not been blocked. I overhear the grunts blocking everything, and one of them says to himself that the way to get into Team Flare's Secret HQ is a pile of rocks. I remember when I encountered a grunt there, and head over there. However, a grunt gets in my way, so I battle him. I beat him and his Pokemon, and he says that Lysandre does whatever he can to help them realize their goals, and says that Lysandre surely deserves respect for that. He then flees into their HQ, and I follow them. As soon as I get to the entrance, Serena arrives. She tells me that when she was in Lysandre's lab (Where I never even saw Serena), the masked heroes told her what is going on. I can't believe SHE doesn't know who they are! She says that the masked heroes also told her what Team Flare plans to do with the ultimate weapon. She then tells me that we should go stop Team Flare... No... We have to stop Lysandre himself! She says that the world isn't corrupt enough to give up on yet. I then enter Team Flare's Secret HQ. When I get inside, I find an elevator, which takes me deep beneath Geosenge Town. When I get out of the elevator, I find a huge room, filled with Team Flare members. I then walk up to Lysandre to confront him, and Serena follows me. Lysandre, who is looking down at the ultimate weapon, tells us that the ultimate weapon's flower has finally bloomed above the soil. He asks us if we find its beauty captivating, ans says that as we speak, it draws energy from the Legendary Pokemon. He then apologizes that the weapon was unearthed even after I chose correctly in the lab. He says that however, conflicting egos drive this world--things don't always go the way you want. Serena tells him that we're not going to let him use the ultimate weapon, and he says that even though resources, space, and energy on this planet are limited, the number of people and Pokemon has increased to an unsustainable level. He says that whether it's money or energy, the ones who steal are the ones who win in this world. Serena says that doesn't give him the right to destroy everyone but the ones Team Flare chooses. Lysandre turns around, and asks if we shared the Mega Ring. Serena says that's different, and says that we competed for it. "When there is only one of something, it can't be shared. When something can't be shared, it will be fought over. And when something is fought over, some must survive without it. The only way to create a world where people live in beauty, a world without conflict or theft, is to reduce the number of living things." Serena asks him what about Pokemon, and Lysandre is silent. "Pokemon... Shall no longer exist. He says that Pokemon are wonderful beings. Humans have worked with Pokemon, and we have helped each other flourish. But precisely because of that, they will inevitably become tools for war and theft!" He then says that he's had enough of this, and walks up to me. He says that we want to stop the ultimate weapon, and he refuses to do so. So, he will keep me busy for just a moment... Lysandre... I will NOT let you fire the ultimate weapon! If I have to battle you to get to it, then so be it! Team Flare Lysandre sends out Mienshao, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley knocks out Mienshao with Extrasensory, and Lysandre sends out Gyarados. Grimsley uses Extrasensory a few times, while Gyarados nearly knocks out Grimsley with Outrage. Gyarados then confuses himself, and also gets flinched by Grimsley's Extrasensory. Eventually, Gyarados gets knocked out by Grimsley's Extrasensory, and Lysandre sends out Pyroar, who gets knocked out by Grimsley's Surf. Lysandre sends out Honchkrow, and Grimsley knocks Honchkrow out with Surf. With Lysandre's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle! Lysandre is surprised at my strength to protect, and asks me what am I really protecting. He asks me if I'm protecting a tomorrow that will only end up being worse than today. Instead, I am protecting a tomorrow for a bright future! "You're as strong as ever. But... You're too late! There is no hope for you now!" Lysandre tells me to go down to the lowest floor, and see for myself. Serena says that it's not over yet, and she tells me to look for the Legendary Pokemon. She says that Trainers are protected by Pokemon, but Trainers protect Pokemon as well. She says that I can see the entrance to the lower floors just to the left of Lysandre! I then take a look at the source of the ultimate weapon, and I see the cocoon of destruction attached to it. I heal my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, and head back to the HQ. Then, I head to the door on the left, and descend deeper into the HQ. As I head deeper, Serena follows me, and tells me that we should hurry. She then says that she gets what Lysandre is trying to say, but his methods are insane! She then follows me, and as we head deeper, we get stopped by a Team Flare Grunt and a Team Flare Admin. The admin says that we have to turn back, He reveals that the Legendary Pokemon IS at the end of this chamber. The grunt asks the admin why he told us that, and wonders who would even do something like that. Me and Serena battle them, and beat them easily. They then reveal that they searched deep in Kalos's mountains for the Legendary Pokemon, and its energy is being absorbed into the ultimate weapon. We then head deeper, and find another grunt and another admin. We beat them, and head deeper into the HQ. As we head deeper, we get stopped by Shauna. Serena asks her what she's doing here, and Shauna says that she wants to help, because friends should stick together. She apologizes for slowing us down, and Serena says that she's the one who should be apologizing. She says that Shauna came all the way out here, and Serena wasn't very considerate of Shauna's feelings. She realizes that Shauna is right, and that friends should stick together. She asks me if Shauna can come with us, and I agree. Serena then tells Shauna that me and her will go ahead, and tells her to stay close to us. Shauna listens, and thanks us. We then head deeper, and battle another admin and another grunt. We beat them, and we descend below until we find a giant, red door with Team Flare's logo on it. Serena says that it has an electronic lock, and wonders what we should do. Shauna says that she has something that will help, and says that it's a device that helps you when you're stuck on a puzzle. I remember it from when Clemont gave it to her! She uses her machine, and the lock opens! However, the device broke. Serena is amazed, and says that her and Clemont's device are both full of surprises. Serena then states that we're finally here. She says that the Legendary Pokemon is inside, and says that we should go help it. I then open the gigantic door, and head inside... When I head inside, I find a gigantic room. In the room, I find the cocoon of destruction, which is attached to the ultimate weapon. Black and red wires are attached to the ultimate weapon, and on the floor, there are millions of cords. Serena and Shauna follow me inside, and Serena is amazed that we're in the deepest part of the headquarters... She says that it's somehow hard to breathe in here, and Shauna notices the cocoon of the Legendary Pokemon. She says that it doesn't look alive, but... However, just as we gaze at the cocoon, a horde of Team Flare Admins arrive, and says that the Legendary Pokemon is none of our business. One of the admins says that the ultimate weapon has taken 99 percent of the Legendary Pokemon's energy. However, just to make sure double sure nothing goes wrong, they try to take us out. Shauna says that she doesn't want to be chased again, and runs off. One of the admins chases after her, and Serena is surprised at Shauna's actions. She tells me to deal with the admins, while she goes to protect Shauna. Then one of the admins says that she's going to make sure that Serena and Shauna are found. However, what Serena and Shauna did was a pretty simple tactic by splitting the admins up, and the admin is impressed. She then leaves to find Serena and Shauna, and so I have to face four admins, two males, and two females. I deal with the two female admins, and then I deal with the two male admins. They're all shocked that I beat them, and one of them tells the others to contact Lysandre, and to call for reinforcements. After I beat the grunts, I approach the cocoon to turn off the ultimate weapon. However, I hear a cracking sound, and I take a step back. A dark, ominous light engulfs the cocoon, and glows brighter and brighter, until Yveltal finally hatches from the cocoon, and makes a majestic entrance. Yveltal breaks the black and red wires. and lands towards me. Yveltal then absorbs some dark aura, and takes flight. Yveltal then roars in my face for a third time, and the battle begins... Yveltal... Spread your dark, ominous wings, and take flight! The future of Kalos is in our hands, and the time is now! Lend me your power, so we may put Team Flare to rest! Yveltal flies into battle, and takes me into a dark vortex. I send out Grimsley, and throw a lot of Pokeballs at it. It takes a while, but I finally catch Yveltal with the help of a few button techniques. I catch Yveltal in a regular Pokeball, with full health. I send Eris to the PC so Yveltal can join my party for now. Serena and Shauna arrive, and Serena is relieved, because now they can't use the ultimate weapon. Shauna says that I'm amazing, and says that it's unbelievable how a Legendary Pokemon would want to be my friend. Another voice calls out, and says that it's a startling development, and says that he never would've thought I was really a chosen one. We're all shocked, and Lysandre comes in the room with a cyber-tech suit, and a visor of his own. He is shocked at Yveltal's strength, and he says that he expected more from a Pokemon called a legend. He questions Yveltal, saying that it desires help from people, and that IT needs help from a human. Shauna is surprised at Lysandre's new appearance, and asks if it's really him. She then tells him that I already beat him, and asks him what he is doing here. Lysandre then states that for him, victory is using the ultimate weapon. He says that in order to do that, he needs to reclaim the Legendary Pokemon's power and send it to the ultimate weapon once again. He then declares that he will be taking the Legendary Pokemon back now. He says that this time, he won't lose, for he, too, shall use the Mega Ring and Mega Stone that I researched during my travels. Lysandre! Just give it up! Your plans have failed, and the ultimate weapon is shut down! You're not taking Yveltal on MY watch! Team Flare Boss Lysandre sends out Mienshao, while I send out Yveltal. Mienshao uses Acrobatics, but gets obliterated by Yveltal's Oblvion Wing afterwards. Lysandre sends out Pyroar. Lysandre sends out Honchkrow, and Yveltal wipes out Honchkrow with Oblivion Wing. Lysandre then sends out Gyarados, while I send out Blaziken. However, Lysandre uses his OWN Mega Ring, which is an ACTUAL RING, to Mega Evolve Gyarados. I Mega Evolve Blaziken, and have him use Double Kick on Gyarados. This knocks Gyarados to half of its health, and Gyarados knocks out Blaziken with Aqua Tail. I send out Grimsley, who then defeats Gyarados with Surf, making Lysandre mad by having him throw his visor off in a fit of rage. With Lysandre's Pokemon finally defeated, I win the battle! He admits that it's over, and says that fools with no vision will continue to befoul this beautiful world. He then says that they will go on until the only thing left to do is squabble over the remaining scraps of hope... He then screams in agony, and Shauna tells him that even if there's only a little bit of something, it's still best to share it. She says that even he managed to use Mega Evolution, and that's because Gyarados shared it's power with him. However, it's not just Gyarados that shared its power with him, but his other Pokemon, too. Lysandre is silent, and Serena says that the Legendary Pokemon is gone, so he can't use the ultimate weapon anymore. She tells him that he doesn't have to worry about the future all by himself, and tells him that everyone should work together to make it a better, beautiful world. Lysandre says that if that were possible, all wars would have ended long ago! He can only see one future... One where selfish, foolish humans think about nothing other than themselves and steal more and more from one another... He says that it's a tragic future! He then states that the original purpose of this device was to bring a Pokemon back to life. But the ancient king transformed it into this ultimate weapon... He says that when the Legendary Pokemon awakened, it took back much of its energy--it's power--that had been sent to the ultimate weapon. He then says that there's not much left... But there IS enough to use it once... He then tells us that the ultimate weapon is a flower that bloomed to no avail... Just like him... He then says that it ends here! He declares that he will show us what its remaining power can do... Serena tells me and Shauna that we should get out of here, and we escape. The ultimate weapon is then fired... It shoots a red beam across the sky, and the beam heads straight back to Kalos, and lands right on the ultimate weapon, blowing it, AND Team Flare's Secret HQ to smithereens... Lysandre... And Team Flare... Is no more... When we get out, we find Trevor, Tierno, Dexio, and Sina waiting for us. Sina is glad we're all safe, and respects the courage and kindness all of us showed. Serena thanks her, and says that we're all fine. She asks Tierno if they're all okay, and Tierno says that they're doing great, and thanks her for asking. He says that they worked together to save the Pokemon connected to the stones on Route 10. However, he mostly left battling with Team Flare to Sina and Dexio, though... Sina asks him who are Sina and Dexio they speak of, and say that they're the masked heroes. However, Dexio tells Tierno not to worry about it, and says that we were all doing the best we could to stop Team Flare's plans. He then says that they have a little bit of news for us all. Dexio tells us that he and Sina managed to destroy the machine in Lysandre's lab that was spying on people's Holo Caster transmissions, which means we won't have to deal with Team Flare anymore. Trevor says that he can go back to filling up his Pokedex, and Shauna is happy to return to her adventure. She says that we should all go back to Anistar City and start over from where we left off. Everyone else leaves, except for Serena, who comes back for something. Maybe she came back so she can confess her love for me! She thanks me, and says that she has so much respect of me as a friend. She says that it's because she respects me that she wants to beat me in battle as my rival, and she really means it. She then leaves... REALLY?!? I EXPECTED A LOVE STORY IN THIS GAME!!! KINDA LIKE HOW IT WAS IN BLACK 2!!! After Serena leaves AZ shows up out of nowhere, and says that a long, long time ago. A very long time ago. He walks up to the rubble, and says that the man made an ultimate weapon. Using it required the life force of many Pokemon... The Pokemon granted eternal life learned this. He then says that the resurrected eternal Pokemon left the man's side. The man was surprised and sad. He had revived it so they could be together... Day after day passed, but they were never to meet. Eventually, he became a mere shell of a man. A man condemned to wander forever by the light of the weapon... And a Pokemon that also wanders eternally... AZ wonders where it is now, and what he has to do to meet it. He then leaves, and I head back to the entrance of Team Flare's Secret HQ, which collapsed as well. After talking to AZ, I then fly to Lumiose City, and head back to Lysandre's Lab. I explore what I missed, and find that almost all of the Team Flare members are gone. I also find a library full of books. I even find a report that Lysandre wrote that talks about how selfish people are. I then read the books of the ancient war 3,000 years ago, and find that AZ's younger brother, the ancestor of Lysandre, led a legion of greedy souls who wanted to seize the Kalos region. The greedy rich man and his dog would TOTALLY fit the bill. I bet HIS ancestor was one of them! His dark intention was to make it his own. But when he saw how Kalos had been ravaged by the war, he took the weapon his brother had created, and he had buried that weapon deep underground. I then leave Lysandre Labs, and fly to Anistar City to continue my quest. With Team Flare gone, It's finally time to finish what I started... Finishing the Pokemon League! Current Pokemon Stats: Yveltal has finally taken flight, which means that Yveltal is now a new member of the team! However, I won't use Yveltal as much, because that would take the fun out of everything. I will only use Yveltal for very important battles, like the Champion, and others. Not much has happened to the team otherwise though. Chapter XX: Lysandre, Team Flare, The Mysterious Laboratory, And The Ancient War! I head to Lysandre's Cafe, and I find two mysterious employees. One of them says that today's special is... Get out of here or else, which means that Lysandre's Cafe IS the hideout of Team Flare! I beat the grunt, and learn that the password to the hidden door in the cafe is "open sesame". Typical... The other grunt says that today's special is SCRAM-ble, and says that if I don't get out of here now... She then battles me. I beat her, and learn that there's a hidden door to Lysandre Labs. I then walk over to the piece of furniture that gave off a mysterious vibe, and find out that it's a hidden door! I say "Open sesame", and the hidden door opens. I then sneak inside... When I get inside, I find Lysandre, who was actually EXPECTING ME! He then states that this world will eventually reach the point of no return. He says that saving the lives of all is impossible, and that only the chosen ones will obtain a ticket of tomorrow. He asks me if I want to have a ticket, or if I want to stop him. He tells me to show him in battle. Lysandre... As much as I would LIKE a ticket, I HAVE to save Kalos. What you're doing is wrong, and you need to be stopped! Team Flare Lysandre sends out Mienfoo, while I send out Blaziken. I hold off the Mega Evolution until later, and go with Hone Claws. Blaziken then strikes Mienfoo down with Blaze Kick, and Lysandre sends out Gyarados. I switch out for Mr. Muffintops, and Gyarados uses Aqua Tail on Pikachu, which nearly knocks him out. Mr. Muffintops nearly knocks out Gyarados, but fails to, and gets knocked out by Gyarados' Earthquake instead. I send out Eris, who knocks out Gyarados with Shadow Ball. Lysandre sends out Murkrow, and Murkrow nearly knocks out Eris with Foul Play. However, Eris survives, and knocks out Murkrow with Signal Beam and Disarming Voice. Lysandre sends out Pyroar, and I switch out for Lucas. Pyroar nearly knocks out Lucas, but survives, and so I decide to Mega Evolve Lucas, and he knocks out Pyroar with Power-Up Punch. Lysandre is excited to see my victory, even though he lost, and I win the battle! Lysandre is excited, and says that my convictions, and those of my Pokemon, please him. He says that I am here to stop him, but he asks me to wait. He then says that he tried to save people--and the world--with the profit from this lab. But his efforts had no effect... The world was just too vast for him...and too full of fools that he couldn't save through his hard work alone... That's why he decided the only way to save the world was to take it all for himself. He says that he doesn't expect that he will ever make me understand how he thinks and feels... He invites me to try to stop the ultimate weapon if I must, but to do so, I will have to explore their lab and have Pokemon battles with all I meet. He says that as for the Elevator Key, one of the Team Flare Scientists I've met on the journey has it. He says that saving everything... He says that the world is suffering because of this absurd dream... He then leaves, and descends down the elevator, and deeper into his lair. I then head to the spinning panel on the top-left, battle the grunt, and head through the warp panel, where I find Aliana. She remembers me from back when I battled her at the Kalos Power Plant, and is happy to meet me again. She then ends the reunion by battling me. Aliana, you are in my way. Stand aside! Team Flare Scientist Aliana sends out Mightyena, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley knocks Mightyena down with Surf, and Aliana then sends out Druddigon. Druddigon strikes with Dragon Claw, and Grimsley knocks Druddigon down with some Extrasensory. With Aliana's Pokemon wiped out, I win the battle! Aliana is surprised, and says that I am far more capable than their useless grunts. She then states that she doesn't have the key, but she'll let me pass. However, she asks me which warp panel could it be to head into the right direction, and gladly stands aside. She then tells me that she had fun at the Kalos Power Plant, and says that they could have also generated electricity with Team Flare's technology. However, they didn't think it justified the cost. She also tells me that to create a world for them and them alone, they have to play it smart. I then head to the left warp panel, and find myself deeper in Lysandre's Lab. I find some more spin panels, and follow its path. I then battle a grunt, and go through the door, which leads to the computer room. I FOUND THE COMPUTER ROOM!!! Anyways, In the computer room, I find Dexio and Sina, dressed in their respective heroic clothing. It seems that they're looking for a really tall guy, because they notice me, and ask me if I know where he is. And they say he is REALLY tall. If I were to stretch out a Seviper and stood it up, this guy would be that tall. Dexio tells me that they received some intelligence that Team Flare is also trying to find him for some reason. Sina also tells me that his relationship to Team Flare is still a mystery, but... Before she can say anything else, she gives me some Revives. She then realizes her mistake of calling me by my name, and tries to deny that she knows me. Dexio explains that they came here--at a certain Professor's request-- to stop Team Flare. He knows that my goal is the same, and tells me not to do anything reckless. I continue the mission by heading to another spin panel, which leads me to another door. This room seems to be Team Flare's living quarters, because there are a lot of beds. It seems that Nintendo takes living space for villainous teams VERY well in the recent games. First Team Plasma has plenty of beds in their Frigate, and now Team Flare. One of the grunts doesn't even fight me, and gives me TM12 Taunt. Though I think I'm in the women's quarters, because the only two grunts I see here are women. Well THIS is interesting... Anyways, I get out of the women's quarters, and battle a few grunts as I make my way to find the next Team Flare Scientist to face. Sometimes, I feel like I'm re-battling some of these grunts. After finding another door, I enter it only to find another computer room. This time, Celosia and Bryony are here, dumbfounded that I'm here. Bryony then breaks off the little game by saying that she's seen me somewhere before. Celosia asks her who I am, and Bryony says that she has no idea, but obviously I'm not in Team Flare, and suggest that they should get me. Celosia agrees, and says that sounds good to her. She also says that she'll get in the first blow. I don't like where this is going... Not at ALL. Celosia, just... NO... You and Bryony are just sick... JUST... SICK... Team Flare Scientist Celosia sends out Manetric, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley strikes Manetric with Extrasensory, and also avoids Manetric's Thunder Wave. Grimsley then strikes with another Extrasensory, and Manetric faints. Celosia then sends out Drapion, who falls immediately from Drapion's Surf. With Celosia's Pokemon knocked out, I win the battle! Celosia admits that they are lame, and Bryony is upset that poor Celosia lost, and battles me next. Bryony, you're next. You and Celosia are just dumb. Really... REALLY... DUMB... Team Flare Scientist Bryony sends out Liepard, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley wipes out Liepard with Surf, and Bryony sends out Bisharp, who also faints from Grimsley's Surf. After Bryony's Pokemon are defeated, I win the battle! Bryony is shocked, and says that my ability flies in the face of all probability. She asks me what my source of power is, and Celosia is shocked that a 'child' like me could beat them both. She says that me and my Pokemon were utterly in sync in that battle, and she knows why. She asks if I'm here for answers, and states that she supposes they're at my mercy. They then tell me what they know... Team Flare has been using the electricity they stole from the Power Plant to get everything prepared for activating the ultimate weapon. However, that's not all that they'll need to use it. Bryony asks if I'm following her on this, and I am. She then says that they'll need energy absorbed from Pokemon to power the device! She states that it is the stones on Route 10 that will steal that energy for them and power the ultimate weapon! Celosia says that in reality, those stones that line Route 10 are the graves of Pokemon. She tells me that when the ultimate weapon was used to end that horrible war over 3,000 years ago, it stole the lives of all those Pokemon. She says that their lives were the price of peace then. She tells me that if they want their own wishes to come true today, they in Team Flare also have to sacrifice something precious. I then notice the stone behind them... Could that stone be a Pokemon Grave? I then leave, and head down the spin panels, and find a warp panel, which just leads me to an item. I then continue my mission, and battle another grunt I head to the warp panel, and I head deeper into Lysandre's Lab. I battle another grunt, who reveals that Team Flare uses the Holo Caster to spy on people's conversations! I beat the grunt, and then spin on the spin panels and find a door. I then head inside, and find Mable, who remembers me from the Frost Cavern. She's surprised to see me alone, and I say that I am not alone, because I have my Pokemon with me. She then tells me that Team Flare gathers data about all the Trainers in the region through the Holo Caster, so they know all about me and my friends. She asks me if I remember how the Mega Ring is used to awaken a Pokemon's power, and says that it's just like how the ultimate weapon can max out a Pokemon's power. She then says that me and her are practically the same thing, and the battle begins. Mable... How are we the same? I am different than Team Flare, and I WILL prove it! Team Flare Scientist sends out Houndoom, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley wipes out Houndoom with Surf, and Mable sends out Weavile, who gets knocked out after Grimsley gives a critical hit Surf. With Mable's Pokemon defeated, I win the battle! Mable is surprised at her loss, and says that me and my Pokemon are out of the ordinary. She happily reveals that she has the Elevator Key. Aliana didn't have it, Celosia and Bryony didn't have it, so it's obvious that Mable had it. She happily gives it to me, as to the victor, goes the spoils. She then tells me of the power of the Legendary Pokemon... The power to steal life from all around it... She says that it's a mysterious ability that even scientists like them haven't been able to really decode. She asks me what I do I think will happen to the world if they fuel the ultimate weapon with something like that. I then head back to the elevator, plug the Elevator Key in, and descend deeper into Lysandre's Lab... I head to the B2 Floor, and head downstairs, where I find Lysandre with the really tall man before, but he's trapped in an electric cell. He tells me the tale of the war 3,000 years ago... "A terribly long time ago…" "There was a man and a Pokémon. He loved that Pokémon very much." "A war began." "The man's beloved Pokémon took part in the war." "Several years passed." "He was given a tiny box." "The man wanted to bring the Pokémon back. No matter what it took." "The man built a machine to give it life." "He brought his beloved Pokémon back." "The man had suffered too much. His rage had not subsided." "He could not forgive the world that had hurt the Pokémon he loved." "He turned the machine into the ultimate weapon." "The man became a bringer of destruction that ended the war." "The Pokémon that was given life must have known…" "That the lives of many Pokémon were taken to restore its life." "The resurrected Pokémon left the man." The story shows picture of how the war happened, but I won't explain them, because it's better for one to find out themselves, is it not? The man tells me to get the key back, and says that the weapon should not be used, because everything will vanish again. He asks me if I want to know unending pain like he has, and Lysandre introduces the man to me as AZ, who has the same name as a king that lived 3,000 years ago. He also says that for some unknown reason, AZ had the key hung around his neck. He then turns to me, and says that it's time. He tells me to follow him to his chambers, and I follow him down to B3... As soon as I get down to B3, I find Lysandre talking to a man with red hair, red glasses, and blue gloves. He says that the Pokeballs they received and the Pokemon they've gathered are where they need to be. He then concludes that all preparations are complete. Lysandre tells him that the only thing left to do is put the plan in motion, and that he is counting on him. I approach them, and Lysandre tells me that one push of a button, and they can activate the ultimate weapon from this room. He then says that being a chosen one means that I have the potential to change the future! He says that whether they activate the ultimate weapon or leave it safely underground will rest upon if I actually have this potential or not. Lysandre then leaves, and the man is overjoyed to see me. He tells me that he needs to do a little research on me, and he says that we will begin. Whoever you are... You are NOT pushing ANYTHING! Team Flare Scientist Xerosic sends out Crobat, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley knocks down Crobat with some Extrasensory, and Xerosic sends out Malamar. Grimsley hits Malamar with Surf, but Malamar survives to be able to knock Grimsley down. However, Grimsley is not out yet, thanks to some Pokemon Amie. Grimsley finishes the job with another Surf, and I win the battle! Xerosic is pleased with my Pokemon and their skills, and says that I have tremendous skill and bravery. He then tells me something very interesting... It happened 3,000 years ago. The ultimate weapon was used to put an end to the war in an instant. If Team Flare uses that incredible power, they can finally free Kalos of the foolish humans that plague it! He tells me that behind him, I will find a red button, and a blue button. He tells me that one of them is the button for activating the ultimate weapon. He then encourages me to push one. He then says that he is very curious to see the results of his research, and says that to use the ultimate weapon to cleanse the world once and for all is fascinating. I then push the blue button, and shut down the ultimate weapon... Or so I think... Next thing I know, Xerosic is overjoyed that I pushed a button. He says that I am a winner, but... He's STILL going to activate the ultimate weapon! He understands that the boss promised that they wouldn't activate it if I pushed the correct button, but he refuses to let the potential go to waste. He then pushes a button from his remote, and the power is on. He then tells me to look at the monitor, and I witness a giant crystal rise from the ground. It knocks all of the houses back, and rises to the sky. It opens up, charging energy, and then surfaces to the ground. This... This is the ultimate weapon... Xerosic is thrilled to witness the ultimate weapon, and declares that it is reborn. He says that the poisonous flower has bloomed, and declares that all shall perish except for Team Flare. He says that the ultimate weapon has bloomed in Geosenge Town, and says that the boss's dream of creating a beautiful world will come true. He tells me to add it all up, and it equals a victory for Team Flare's science. I then head up the elevator, and outside of Lysandre Labs. Lysandre... Team Flare... Your goals make me sick. Don't you see what you're doing? You WILL be stopped... By ME! Current Pokemon Stats: Most of the team is level 51. The only ones that are not are Grimsley, who is level 60, and Lucas, who is level 48. As soon as I am done with Team Flare and the last Gym Leader, I'll probably even them out. Chapter XIX: The Mystical Olympia, The Magical Anistar City, And Lysandre's True Intentions! As soon as I head into Anistar City, Sina comes over to me to tell me something in Dexio's place. She tells me that there's a person here in Anistar City who knows about the Legendary Pokemon. She then leaves, but comes back to give me some Repeat Balls. She explains what they do, and leaves. I head to the Pokemon Center, and I get TM35 Flamethrower from a Hex Maniac! Not only that, but... I also find Mr. Bonding. AGAIN. He gives me another O-Power, and leaves. I then heal my Pokemon and leave, and I get TM10 Hidden Power inside a Psychic's House! I then head inside a house, and find an interesting man... When I go inside, I find a man who tells me about the Legendary Pokemon of the Kalos region, Yveltal... It happened around 800 years ago. The Pokemon known as Yveltal spread its ominous wings, engulfing the lands of Kalos in darkness. At that moment, people and Pokemon throughout the land began to fall one by one. Yveltal let out a piercing cry and took to the sky, vanishing to an unknown location. Stories say that when it nears the end of its thousand-year life span, Yveltal absorbs the life force of the living things around it in order to charge its own energy. Another tale talks of the appearance of such a terrifying Pokemon... Back 3,000 years ago, the Kalos region was engulfed in a terrible war. According to the stories, a Pokemon appeared and stole the life force of countless living beings. Some people suspect the Pokemon that appeared was Yveltal, but there's no way to know... Maybe they're just using a Legendary Pokemon as a metaphor for war and pestilence. In the tales, after Yveltal finished storing the energy it had absorbed, it transformed into a kind of cocoon, remaining in hiding deep in the mountains. However, these are simply old tales... Or are they? I leave, and then head to the next house, where I find a lonely old man. He says that with his wife gone, his life has become very lonely. He asks me if I could lend him one of my Pokemon to keep him company, and I let him borrow a Spanish Fletchling I got over Wonder Trade. I then leave, and head to the Anistar City Gym. As soon as I get to the Gym, Serena runs up to me and says that she wants to show me how much stronger she is. She says that she DID say we were going to be rivals back in that cafe in Lumiose City, after all. THAT'S why she constantly battles me... Whatever, Serena. You're going to lose either way, so I'll be taking you down... NOW! Serena sends out Meowstic while I send out Grimsley. I switch out Grimsley for Eris, and have her use Shadow Ball. Serena's Meowstic and Eris keep hurling Shadow Balls at each other until Eris knocks out Meowstic with a Shadow Ball, and wins the cat fight. LITERALLY! Serena sends out Absol, while I send out Blaziken. I Mega Evolve Blaziken, and have him use Hone Claws. Blaziken then knocks out Absol with Blaze Kick, and Serena sends out Vaporeon, while I switch out for Mr. Muffintops. Mr. Muffintops nearly gets knocked out by Vaporeon's Muddy Water, but hangs in there to knock out Vaporeon with a few Thunderbolts. Serena sends out Chesnaught, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley finishes the job by knocking Chesnaught out with Extrasensory, and I win the battle, while Serena gets annoyed even more that she keeps losing. Serena says that her Pokemon are so much stronger now, but me and my Pokemon are still one step ahead of them. She heals my Pokemon, and says that me and my Pokemon are good enough to beat the Gym Leader. She tells me to go for it, and then leaves. I then grab Lucas from the PC, and head into the Anistar Gym. When I head inside the Anistar Gym, I talk to the Gym guy, who explains that the Gym is a maze inside of a crystal ball. He says that even if I get around, I'll have to watch out for Psychic types. As soon as I head to the center of the room, everything changes. Instead of a small room, I find myself stuck in space. I follow the path, and battle the Psychic in my way until I go to another warp panel, which takes me to another part of the maze. I keep following the simple paths until I find another Psychic to battle, and the path gets tricky. I keep from switching from blue to green parts, until I finally get to pink, where I find another Psychic. I beat the Psychic, and I head through the warp panel. THIS is where it gets tricky, because there's two paths, and two Hex Maniacs on both paths. I go through both paths, and beat the Hex Maniacs. I then head through the last warp panel, and find the Gym Leader... When I find the Gym Leader, she is cloaked in white with an interesting purple hairstyle. She says that a ritual will decide my fate and future. She then magically floats, and the battle begins... That's it? No introduction? Just like Valerie, I guess.... Anyways, I might as well battle and get what I came for, which means that you're going to lose! Olympia sends out Sigilyph, while I send out Eris. Sigilyph uses Light Screen while Eris uses Shadow Ball. Sigilyph then uses Reflect, while Eris uses Signal Beam to try to confuse it. Sigilyph then uses Air Slash to try to knock Eris out, but Eris hangs in there until Light Screen is gone, and then knocks out Sigilyph with Shadow Ball. Olympia then sends out Meowstic, who wins the cat fight with Eris by knocking her out with Shadow Ball. I send out Charles, and Mega Evolve him, while having him use Flamethrower to burn Meowstic to a crisp to avenge Eris. Olympia then sends out Slowking (Slowqueen, in this case), and Charles Flies on top of Slowking, while Slowking lands a Power Gem on Charles. Charles then Flies on top of Slowking again, but this time, knocking it out. Olympia loses, but parts with a few inspirational words: "Create your own path. Let nothing get in your way. Your fate, your future." With this said, I happily win the battle! Olympia then gives me the Psychic Badge as a testament to my skill, and proof of my power. *Trevo got the Psychic Badge!* She tells me that the Psychic Badge is a symbol of trust, and that Pokemon level 90 or below will obey. She also gives me TM04 Calm Mind, and explains what the move does. She then warns me that a mysterious power that takes life awakens--voices of woe. She tells me that THAT is my future. She tells me to go back from whence I came, and I can be transported there. I decide to warp to the entrance, and she bids farewell. I warp back to the entrance, and leave. When I head outside of the Gym, I find someone, who says that getting the Psychic Badge wasn't too much trouble for me. Serena arrives, and says that when this trip is all said and done, she's going to challenge me to a daily battle, as it seems like the neighborly thing to do. She wants to have a rematch, and says that battling tough Trainers is the best way to get stronger, after all. However, just as we're about to battle, we BOTH get a Holo Clip... The one who contacts us is none other than... Lysandre... He calls all Pokemon Trainers, and says that he comes to us by the Holo Caster to make an important announcement. He tells us to listen well, and declares that Team Flare will revive the ultimate weapon, eliminate everyone who isn't in their group, and return the world to a beautiful, natural state. He states that unproductive fools our consuming our future... He says that if nothing changes, the world will become ugly and conflicts will raze the land from end to end. He repeats that they will use the ultimate weapon and wipe the slate clean. He apologizes to those who are not members of Team Flare, and says that this is adieu to us all. He then leaves, and the Holo Clip ends... Serena is completely shocked by what Lysandre said, and says that we should look for Team Flare's Headquarters. She wonders where Lysandre could be. She then assumes that he's where we first met him... In Lumiose City... I fly to Lumiose City, and I wait for my next move... Lysandre... I knew you were involved with Team Flare... Just from the looks of you made me know. I never realized how intent you are with your goals however... When I get to your hideout, you're going DOWN! Not just to lose, but PERMANENTLY! Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. I should really level up my Pokemon more... I probably will at the Battle Chateau after I beat the last Gym Leader, or beat the game. Who knows? Chapter XVIII: The Frost Cavern Conspiracy! As soon as I get to the exterior of Frost Cavern, I battle the Hiker nearby. Once he's defeated, I find a bridge to my right, and cross it. When I cross the bridge, I find a man with a Mamoswine, and the Mamoswine is concerned with what's going on inside Frost Cavern. The man turns around, and asks me if I'm headed to the Frost Cavern. While Trevor arrives, the man says that Mamoswine usually can't get enough of giving people rides on Route 17, but... These days, Mamoswine seems to be too worried about something in the Frost Cavern to give rides. Trevor explains that Mamoswine is a Pokemon that loves cold climates, so maybe it has sensed something amiss in the Frost Cavern. We both notice him, and the man asks who he is. Trevor introduces himself, and explains that he's researching the distribution of Pokemon in the Kalos region at Professor Sycamore's request, which is why he's walking clear out to the Frost Cavern. The man warns us to be careful, because Mamoswine seems concerned about something inside Frost Cavern. Trevor thanks him, and asks me what I'm going to do. He says that he's going to prepare for his expedition, while I am going to follow him into Frost Cavern. I battle a trainer, and then find a long path that leads to Frost Cavern. Once I find the entrance, I head inside... When I head inside, the first thing I notice is that I can't ride my Bicycle or my Roller Skates. I battle the trainers, and I slide on the ice to make my way around in the cave. Eventually, I find stairs to the second floor of Frost Cavern, and battle some more trainers. After beating them and finding some items, I head back to the first floor by finding another set of stairs. I find a lady who heals my Pokemon, and I battle a Hiker. After I beat him, I heal my Pokemon again, and head up another set of stairs, where it takes me directly to ANOTHER set of stairs. I battle the few trainers and collect a few items, such as TM79 in another part of the second floor, before I head into the deepest part of the cavern... As soon as I arrive to the deepest part of Frost Cavern, I find two Team Flare grunts with what appears to be another Team Flare Scientist. However, this Team Flare Scientist has blue hair. Trevor arrives as soon as I do, and wonders if there's something going on up ahead. The blue-haired Scientist is proud to find Abomasnow, and declares that it is a fine specimen, and that Abomasnow is absolutely brimming with energy. She states that the more they agitate it, the stronger its Snow Warning Ability becomes, making the snow fall even more furiously. She says that they should catch it swiftly and get out of here. However, me and Trevor arrive at the scene, and Trevor asks Team Flare what they're doing here. They notice us, and the blue-haired Scientist says that they're catching Pokemon, which is why they stole all of those Pokeballs. It was all so they could catch powerful Pokemon like Abomasnow, who is filled with potent energy. Trevor asks what they mean by energy, and the blue-haired Scientist says he's not the brightest one, and states that whoever has the most Pokemon and the most energy will come out on top. She says that lazy people who just wait for things to be handed to them don't get to have these resources. Trevor asks them her why Team Flare is amassing Pokemon, energy, and money. To put it another way, why is Team Flare always trying to take everything for itself? The blue-haired Scientist spells it out for us by explaining that it's so Team Flare--and ONLY Team Flare--can survive! She says that after all, why should they care about saving people who aren't on their side. However, she says that she doesn't mind a healthy curiosity, but she says that she just doesn't have any more time for us. Trevor gets worried, and talks to me about the situation, and says that Team Flare has a few screws loose. The blue-haired Scientist then tells the two grunts to hurry up and send us packing. They obey, and battle us. The grunt that battles me sends out Golbat and Manetric, but they both fall to Grimsley's Extrasensory. Once the grunt is defeated, I then proceed to battle the blue-haired Scientist. She says that I'm more powerful than I look, and wonders how much energy there is inside me. Whoever you are, you're NOT getting Abomasnow! Team Flare Scientist Mable sends out Houndoom, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley wipes out Houndoom with Surf, and I win the battle! Mable is mad that she lost, and says that she has no patience for losing. She then tells the grunts to retreat, and they all retreat. After they retreat, Trevor asks me if battling Team Flare scares me. Team Flare has NO IDEA of what I'M capable of... Trevor admits that it scares him, because he doesn't like battling them... But we managed to protect Abomasnow by pitching in there. He says that he knows he's the reserved type, and he's okay with that, but it's important to be bold when necessary. He says that Mamoswine doesn't have to worry about Abomasnow anymore, and that's what matters. All's well that ends well! Trevor then leaves, and Abomasnow thanks me by giving me the Abomasite! I then head back down to the first floor of Frost Cavern, heal my Pokemon, and leave. As soon as I leave, I notice that the blizzard is gone. I then head back to Route 17, and Mamoswine's owner tells me the story of how Mamoswine became friends with Abomasnow. A few years back, an Abomasnow came into town carrying a Mamoswine that was all beat up and injured from something... He then says that I can ride Mamoswine's back across Route 17. So I hop on Mamoswine, and ride. I go through every maze to collect the items, and I dash through the snow, as get closer to the Anistar City. Eventually, I get to where I have to get off of Mamoswine, and run to Anistar City. However, just as I'm about to go into the Anistar City, I get a Holo Clip from Serena, who challenges me to a battle right in front of Anistar City's Gym! She tells me to prepare myself, and leaves, ending the Holo Clip. I then cross the gate, and enter Anistar City. Serena... Get ready, because I'm taking you DOWN! Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. A few Pokemon leveled up, Oh, and Eris learned Signal Beam, and leveled up quite a bit. A few others leveled up, but not as much. Greninja Name: Grimsley Level: 56 Moves: Extrasensory, Double Team, Surf, Water Shuriken Charizard Name: Charles Level: 50 Moves: Fly, Dragon Rage, Flamethrower, Smokescreen Pikachu Name: Mr. Muffintops Level: 51 Moves: Discharge, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Electro Ball Blaziken Name: Blaziken Level: 50 Moves: Hone Claws, Slash, Double Kick, Blaze Kick Lucario Name: Lucas Level: 48 Moves: Power-Up Punch, Swords Dance, Metal Sound, Bone Rush Meowstic Name: Eris Level: 46 Moves: Shadow Ball, Disarming Voice, Signal Beam, Psychic Tyrunt Name: Bowser Level: 29 Moves: Rock Smash, Stealth Rock, Bite, Strength Aerodactyl Name: Ridley Level: 26 Moves: Bite, Scary Face, Ancient Power, Agility -

Chapter XVII: The Spooky Lost Hotel, And The History Of The Destructive Pokemon, Yveltal! I head out into Route 15, or Brun Way, and I find trainers EVERYWHERE. EVEN IN THE LEAVES!!! I battle the trainers, and find some cool items hiding in the leaves. Most of the trainers here are Pokemon Rangers, and one of them even said that a man named Lysandre helped him out long ago and kept him on his path. I battle the rest of the trainers, and cross a bridge. As soon as I cross the bridge, I get a Holo Clip from Lysandre, who tells me that according to Professor Sycamore's research, Mega Evolution releases all of a Pokemon's hidden energy at once. He says that the Pokemon then exhibits a level of power it could not attain through ordinary Evolution. He wonders what meaning could we draw from this, and wonders if all people and Pokemon have such potential, or is it hidden within a chosen few. He then leaves, and the Holo Clip ends. Lysandre sure is such a strange man... If only Colress was in Kalos... Otherwise, he could help us with Mega Evolution, and make it better! I battle the rest of the trainers on Route 15, and I find the Lost Hotel, where I battle a bunch of Punks. When I get to the end, the two Punks say that I'm not stylish enough, so I can't meet the boss. I leave the Lost Hotel, and I head south to Route 16, or Melancolie Path, which I can also get to if I go through Lumiose City, so I fly there, and go into Route 16 from there. I find the Fishing Shack, where a Fisherman gives me the Super Rod, and I learn about Consecutive Fishing, which actually increases the rate of finding Shiny Pokemon! After training Mr. Muffintops by battling a bunch of Fishermen and Water-type Pokemon, I fly back to Dedemille Town, where I heal my Pokemon in the Pokemon Center. However, I also find Mr. Bonding in the corner again doing who-knows-what. He gives me another O-Power and leaves. I'm seriously starting to realize what the O in O-Power means... And it's not pretty... As soon as I try to continue my journey, Professor Sycamore and Dexio arrive. Professor Sycamore says that when he was younger, he visited many different regions as well. He met many kinds of Pokemon and noticed how each place had its own distinctive flavors. So, he really came to enjoy trying new foods as he traveled. Because of his adventures, he is an expert on the cafes all over Kalos. Dexio interrupts him, but Professor Sycamore says that he's going somewhere with this. He then asks me if I remember the Pokemon Lysandre mentioned in the cafe. If he means the Legendary Pokemon, then yes. He then tells me about Kalos's Legendary Pokemon... Yveltal! He tells me that according to material he's read, those who saw it were so overwhelmed by its power, they were only able to say that this Pokemon resembled the letter Y. Apparently, Yveltal will absorb energy. Yveltal's life span is said to be 1,000 years. When it reaches the end of its life, it steals all of the spirits around it. Dexio wonders where a Pokemon that amazing could be now, and Professor Sycamore says that when Kalos's Legendary Pokemon loses all of its vitality, it goes to sleep in a secret place. However, he doesn't have a clue where Yveltal could be. He says that the writings that mention it are also around a thousand years old, so they aren't much help. Dexio turns to me, and says that it would be absolutely astounding if I found Yveltal. He then says that he'll look into the legend a little bit, and also says that if he finds something, he'll let me know. Professor Sycamore says that he would also be thrilled if I found Yveltal. However, my journey is mine and my Pokemon's alone. He wants me to enjoy myself and do whatever I like. Well if THAT was the case, then this game probably wouldn't be rated E, now would it? Professor Sycamore and Dexio leave, and Trevor arrives. He was looking for the Professor so he could look at Trevor's Pokedex in person. He then says that he can still get his Pokedex evaluated at a Pokemon Center's PC. He then tells me that he's heading off to go look for Pokemon in the Frost Cavern and fill up more of his Pokedex. I then go around town, and collect some items, such as TM42 Facade, which I get from a little boy in a house near the windmill. Once I get all of the items, I then decide to follow Trevor to Frost Cavern, because from what I've heard, the Mamoswine that's supposed to be at Route 17, or Mamoswine Road (Obviously, since Mamoswine is used here) is worried about what's going on at Frost Cavern. Could Team Flare be up to something at Frost Cavern? Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. Chapter XVI: The Poke Ball Factory Conspiracy! After Shauna and Trevor invite me to the Poke Ball Factory tour with them, I follow them, only to find them talking about how some man let them in. Shauna says that he's going to go ask the man again to see if he'll let them in, and Trevor chases after her. Serena and Tierno show up after he follows her, and Tierno asks if Shaunee (Shauna) and Trevs (Trevor, though we already knew about this one), went running off just now. He wonders what's the deal, and Serena says that they were supposed to meet here too... Just then, a scream is heard, and Serena and Trevor run past us with a Team Flare grunt chasing them, ordering them to stop! Tierno wonders what's going on, and runs off to help them. Serena recognizes Team Flare, and says that there might be something happening inside. She says that we should go check it out while the guard is gone, and we head inside... I head inside, only to find a Team Flare grunt in front of me. She's mad that the guard failed to guard the door, and says that they're not offering tours right now. Serena shows up, and asks if she's a member of Team Flare since she has a red suit. She asks if the grunt had to take a part-time job at the Poke Ball Factory to pay for the ugly suit, and the grunt is mocked. She then battles us, but Serena covers for me. I battle a grunt, but he's blocking my path, so I ride the conveyor belt to battle the other grunts. Eventually I make my way to a flight of stairs, and walk across the beams, and find my way to a room where all of the workers are being held. I then heal my Pokemon, and find a switch that's at the bottom-left corner of the factory. I press the button, and it reversed the direction of the conveyor belt. I ride the conveyor belt, and I battle more grunts. I climb the stairs, and another room... I enter the room, and I find three women working for Team Flare. One of them has green hair, and red clothes, while another has purple hair and red clothes. The one in the middle has red hair with white clothes, so I assume this is another Team Flare Admin, and the other two are Team Flare Scientists, just like Aliana! They're trying to convince the Company President of Poke Ball Factory to work for Team Flare, and they say that if he would just help out, they wouldn't have to carry all these Pokeballs by themselves. They also say that with a contribution of $5,000,000, he can become a member of Team Flare. The president says that he'll never forgive any group that tries to take all the Pokeballs for themselves. The green-haired Scientist tells the Admin that they're wasting time with this person, and she agrees. She then says that since there's no one they can use here, they're going to blow this place to smithereens! However, I'm here to save the day, and they ask if an intruder is here, which the president snaps at them, and begs me to help him, which makes the Admin tease him by saying that he's getting a little desperate. She then states that she's just going to have to extinguish his little glimmer of hope by defeating me. She sends out Scraggy and Houndoom, but I beat them easily with Grimsley's Surf. She tells me that I didn't need to go all out for a pitiful president, and the purple-haired Scientist says that's just embarrassing from an Admin. The purple-haired Scientist also says that she and the green-haired Scientist will clean up after her, and they battle me. They gang up on me with two versus one, and they say that they must improve their chances of winning. However, Serena arrives just in time to help me out. She apologizes that she's late, and the Scientists are surprised that there's another one, but one or two kids doesn't make a difference. The purple-haired Scientist says that when they're the ones fighting together, their odds of victory increase exponentially. Serena snaps back, telling them that they might want to check their numbers, and asks them if they're really even scientists. She then asks me if I'm ready, and I am. You two... are going DOWN! You're NOT getting away with the Pokeballs! Team Flare Scientist Celosia (purple-haired Scientist) sends out Manetric, Team Flare Scientist Bryony (green-haired Scientist) sends out Liepard, Serena sends out Meowstic, and I send out Grimsley. Grimsley uses Surf, but hits Meowstic, while knocking out Liepard. Grimsley then finishes the job by knocking out Manetric with Extrasensory, and we win the battle! Bryony and Celosia are horrified that they lost, and the Admin yells at them to be quiet, and says that they have already stolen the Pokeballs, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls. She says that they should just call it good and leave. They retreat, and the president is grateful that we saved the day. He says that we're astounding Pokemon Trainers for being so young. He shows his appreciation by giving us either a Master Ball or a Big Nugget. Serena lets me choose first. I choose the Master Ball, just because, and as a bonus, he gives me the Big Nugget! He gives both items to Serena too, who's grateful for them. The president says that he's sure we'll put them to great use, and says that we're different from Team Flare. He says that even HE doesn't know the proper way to use a Big Nugget. He then wonders what Team Flare was planning to accomplish by taking all of the Pokeballs for themselves. He says that without Pokeballs, people can't catch Pokemon, which means many people won't be able to make friends with Pokemon. As soon as I try to leave the Poke Ball Factory, Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno show up, and Shauna asks if it's okay to go have a look around now. Serena gets out of the president's office, and says that Team Flare messed everything up, and says that it's not a good time right now. Shauna is oblivious of Team Flare, and Trevor asks if they were the ones in red suits. Serena tells them the current situation, and they're all sad that Team Flare took all of the Pokeballs. They say that Team Flare is terrible, and Tierno asks what they should do now. He then says that according to the map, Dendemille Town is next. Trevor and Tierno leave, and Shauna says that me and Serena are really awesome, and says that we are way stronger than Team Flare. She tells us to try to not to do anything crazy, and leaves. Serena thanks me, and says that everyone's okay, thanks to me. She says that if she keeps relying on me like this, going on this journey will lose its meaning. I then leave. Serena... Why were you at the President's office for so long? As soon as I leave the Poke Ball Factory, I get a Holo Clip from a staff member of Lysandre Labs with a special news bulletin, saying that the Poke Ball Factory in the area around Laverre has been attacked. She says that the identities of those involved are unknown. However, this is not expected to have any effect on the sales of Pokeballs... Which means that the Pokemarts are safe. First electricity, and now Pokeballs! What is Team Flare after? What is Team Flare planning to accomplish? Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. A few Pokemon leveled up, but that's it. Chapter XV: Fairy Princess Valerie, And The Mysterious Laverre City! When I head inside the Laverre City Gym, I see that everything looks like a doll house. And the outside of the Gym is a tree! I talk to the Gym Guy, who says that this Gym has some truly confounding conundrums. He tells me that this Gym is a Fairy-type Gym, which I have never seen before! He then tells me that to get around the Gym and to get to the Gym Leader, I have to hop on warp panels, but I will have no idea where I'll land. Well, actually, they all have fixed destinations, of course. I hop on the left warp panel, and head into the living room. I battle Furisode Girl here, and then I head to the next warp panel. It takes me to the study room, and I battle another Furisode Girl, and beat her team. I then go to the top-left warp panel, which takes me to the dining room, where I fight another Furisode Girl. I beat her team, and then something amazing happens... Eris evolves into... Meowstic! I then use the bottom-right warp panel, and it takes me into a bedroom, where I find another Furisode Girl. I beat her team, and then I head to the next warp panel, which takes me to the Gym Leader's room. However, I don't battle the Gym Leader yet, because I explore the rest of the Gym. There's a bathroom, an sewing room, and a vanity room. After exploring the rest of the Gym Leader's lovely home, I go to the Gym Leader's room. When I get to the Gym Leader's room, I find a girl with black hair, and pink wings. I talk to her, and she is delighted to see a new challenger. she says that I have flown all the way through her Gym, fluttering down to her on a fortunate wind. She then says that I have earned myself the right to a battle as a reward for my efforts. She introduces herself as Valerie, who leads this Fairy-type Gym. She hopes that my visit will prove entertaining to me... I wonder what she means by that... She tells me that the elusive Fairy types may appear as frail as a breeze and delicate as a bloom, but they are strong. Fairy-types... This will be interesting... I'm going to enjoy this! Valerie sends out Mawile, while I send out Blaziken. I Mega Evolve Blaziken, and he uses Hone Claws to get some accuracy, while Mawile uses Iron Defense. However, this doesn't do anything, because Blaziken burns Mawile to a crisp with Blaze Kick. Valerie sends out Mr. Mime, who faints from Blaziken's Blaze Kick. Valerie sends out Sylveon, while I switch Blaziken out for Grimsley, who strikes with a Surf and Extrasensory, while nearly getting knocked out by Sylveon's Dazzling Gleam. Valerie gives Sylveon a Hyper Potion, and Grimsley nearly knocks out Syveon with Surf. Valerie gives Sylveon another Hyper Potion, and eventually, Sylveon gets knocked out by Surf. Valerie is sad over her loss, but I win the battle! Valerie says that was a fine battle, and rewards me with the Fairy Badge for my great victory. She says that the Fairy Badge's beauty is captivating. However, she got captivated by the badge's beauty, that she forgot for a moment that it is my badge now. *Trevo got the Fairy Badge!* Valerie tells me that this captivating Fairy Badge will endear any Pokemon up to level 80 to me... Even those Pokemon that I may receive from others will obey me. She also awards me with TM99 Dazzling Gleam as a personal gift from her. She can't seem to recall any longer what move is contained in that TM, but I forgive her. She says that her designs are said to be rather mystifying. She tells me that she's always wanted to be a Pokemon, which is her desire that is her inspiration and what she tries to achieve by designing. And yet...the only time she feels like she is truly one with Pokemon is when they are embroiled in a desperate battle. She wonders why that is, and realizes something, but doesn't explain, as it is nothing of my concern. I head onto the blue warp panel back to the entrance, and I leave. As soon as I leave, Shauna and Trevor run over to me, and are happy to see that I have the Fairy Badge. She tells me that they're going to go tour the Poke Ball Factory, and says that I should go with them! Trevor says that he's interested in Poke Balls because they're used to catch Pokemon, and he is utterly fascinated by them. They leave, and I follow them. There's something I don't like about this tour... Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. However, Eris evolved from Diva to Mega Diva, and learned a few new moves, Charles and Blaziken grew one level, and I'm going to be getting some new clothes soon! Chapter XIV: A Friendly Reunion, And The Scary House! As soon as I get out of Lysandre's Cafe, I get a Holo Clip from Trevor. The ginger kid asks how I've been, because he hasn't seen me in a LONG time. He tells me that we're all going to meet on Route 14, and wants me to join them. He then leaves, and the Holo Clip ends. I buy some new clothes, then I head to Route 14, or Laverre Nature Trail, where I meet up with Trevor and Serena. I head over to where they are, and Serena says hello. Trevor tells me that they were just comparing how complete their Pokedexes are, and he won. Serena says that she'll leave filling up the Pokedex to us, because she doesn't like it when everyone does the same thing. Trevor tells me that me and him should compare how many Pokemon we've seen, just like we always do. However, he puts me at a REAL disadvantage by wanting to compare how many Pokemon we've seen in the Mountain Kalos Pokedex. He says that in a way, he's challenging me to his own kind of Pokemon battle. However, it shows that I've seen 18, which means he LOST. He's surprised I've seen Gible, and says that just knowing about the same Pokemon as someone else can sure make you happy. Serena says that there sure are many different kinds of Pokemon in Kalos. However, Serena then challenges me to a Pokemon battle! Bring it on, Serena. I'm only going to win like I always do. Serena sends out Meowstic, while I send out Grimsley. Meowstic flinches Grimsley with Fake Out, but then Grimsley knocks out Meowstic with Surf. Serena sends out Chesnaught, who gets knocked out from Grimsley's Extrasensory. Serena then sends out Absol, who faints from Grimsley's critical hit Surf. I win the battle, and Serena is starting to get annoyed of losing. After the battle, Shauna shows up, and is amazed by the battle. Serena is surprised, and asked when she started to watch. Shauna asks where Tierny (Tierno) is, and Trevor says that he's at the Fighting Dojo. Tierno then shows up late, and he says that he was having so much fun with a sparring dance that he totally lost track of time. Serena asks Tierno if he has found any good Pokemon for his dance team, and Tierno happily says that he has, and that he's super close to his ideal dance team. Shauna is happy for him, and says that we should all go to the scary house. Wait a minute... WHAT SCARY HOUSE?!? Trevor asks if it's the one by Laverre City, and asks if it's just a rumor. However, Shauna says that we're all going to find out if the rumor's true together. Serena says that she'll pass, and assures that it's just a rumor, and she wants to spend some time with her Pokemon before heading to Laverre City. She runs off, and it looks like we have a WUSSY IN THE GROUP!!! XD Anyways... Tierno asks if the scary house is really that scary, and Trevor says that we should go see for ourselves. He says that there's always some reason rumors like that get started, and then leaves with Tierno, leaving me alone with Shauna. She then follows them, but stops to ask me why am I traveling. She says that everyone is working really hard at what they want to do, but she's just all about memories, and says that she's kinda just goofing around. What she MEANS to say is that she wants to have a little fun, if you know what I mean... However, she says that she's just kidding, and runs off. DANG IT SHAUNA, NOW YOU GOT ME THINKING! It starts to rain, and I find an abandoned playground. I follow the others, and it looks like they've ran through the woods. I battle a few trainers, and I get a few items, such as TM06 Toxic, and eventually, I catch up to the others, as Shauna comes out of nowhere, and takes me to the Scary House. Trevor says that we should go inside, and Tierno freaks out, and asks if he's serious. Trevor says that Serena is off spending time with her Pokemon, so we'll just have to go in with out her and see if the rumor is true by ourselves... Shauna agrees, and says that we should go inside by ourselves. We then head inside... We then find an old man, and he tells his story... "It was a dark and stormy night many years ago. Lost, I arrived at this house and went inside. The lights would not turn on, so I fearfully looked around the house. Eventually, I made my way into the kitchen. There was no sign of anyone being there... I found the fridge, and when I opened it, a faint light leaked out. I could finally make out my surroundings. And I saw the faint outline of a man huddling in the corner of the room. I tried to tell him that I was lost and I was hoping he'd let me stay until morning, but when I approached him... The man suddenly screamed, "Stay back!" I apologized and continued to plead my case. :Please, can't you help me?" "I'm not talking to you!" he shouted. I looked at the man in surprise. When I did this, the man asked me... "Can't you see them? Behind you!" "A horde of faceless men!"" Since he told a wonderful story that will always haunt us... He asks us to tip him. He says that if we don't, we might see something really scary... Shauna is shocked that he is CHARGING us, and the man says that even haunted houses aren't free. Out of complete curiosity, I don't tip the man. Shauna wants to get out of here, and Tierno wakes up from his nap (I think he was sleeping...). Trevor asks the man if the story he just told us was really true, and we just leave. Shauna is still spooked, and Trevor says that was kinda like camping for Shauna. He says that people usually tell scary stories by the campfire. Tierno says that he's had enough of dark places and scary things, and he says he'd rather rehearse his dances, and so he leaves to do that. Shauna decides to go to Laverre City next, and Trevor leaves. I head back inside the house to find the truth, but the man says that it's best if the truth went to the grave... Which probably means it was true! I then head outside of Route 14, and into Laverre City. First thing I do when I get to the city is talk to a little boy, who gives me TM41 Torment. I then head to the Pokemon Center... Only to find Mr. Bonding in a corner near the dressing room... AGAIN... He gives me another O-Power and leaves. I then explore the rest of the city, and I find many items, including the Gengarite from a Hex Maniac! I also learn that there is a GYM here! Time to hit the Gym! Current Pokemon Stats: Not much has changed. Grimsley only got a few more levels up, and that's about it. Chapter XIII: Lumiose City Restored, Clemont The Inventor, And Lysandre's Dream! I head into Lumiose City, and Shauna calls me, and runs over to me. She says that she ran after me like crazy when she spotted me up ahead. She heard that the power's back on in Lumiose City, and that some really bad people were stealing electricity from the Kalos Power Plant. she tells me that somebody came and stopped them. She says that nobody knows who stopped them, and asks me who I think it was. I'll keep it a secret, because me and the rich kids are the only ones who know. Well, other than Team Flare, of course, because I'm the guy who whooped their butts. I tell her that I did, and she's shocked. She tells me that they're going to light the tower, and drags me along with her to go see it. ANOTHER ROMANTIC MOMENT!!! She says that straight ahead is the Prism Tower. I run straight to Prism Tower, and Shauna meets up with me. We arrive with good timing, because they're just about to turn on the lights. However, we spot Clemont, who is Lumiose City's Gym Leader, and Bonnie, his little sister! Shauna says that Clemont is also good at inventing things, and he makes all kinds of devices. The best part is that Shauna actually knows them, because they're her friends! Bonnie asks Clemont if he's done with the lights yet, and Clemont says that he's not done yet, because he has to check the lighting circuit here. Bonnie notices me and Shauna, and asks me if I'm a challenger. She asks me if I can wait a moment, and calls Clemont, who announces that everything's ready. "The future is now, thanks to science!" -Clemont, 2013 and 2014 How famous is that quote? It's even in the games. Clemont activates Prism Tower's lighting system, and the whole tower lights up. Shauna is feeling entranced, and says that now she has another great memory with me. More like another ROMANTIC memory! Clemont is intrigued, and says that his Prism Tower lighting system worked brilliantly, just like all his inventions, while Bonnie's just standing there like a dope, saying whatever. She reminds him that he has challengers waiting for him, and she tells us that Prism Tower itself is Lumiose City's Pokemon Gym! Clemont and Bonnie head inside, and Shauna is still amazed by Clemont's inventions. He even gave Shauna one that solves puzzles, but she says it's always feels like a shame to use it, so she hasn't yet. She wishes me luck, and I explore the city. I need to get some new clothes, so I head to Boutique Coiture, but I get DENIED to enter the store, because I'm 'not stylish'. What is this, TEAM FLARE?!? Anyways, I need to be stylish, and what better way to be stylish than to get a job at a fancy hotel? I head to Hotel Richissime, and guess who I find? Mr. Bonding... But first, I go up to the desk, and the lady all of a sudden asks me if I want to work here. I take the job, and I do room service first. What I have to do is correctly guess the orders of the customers. I do it so perfectly, I get paid a lot. I then make beds, and I do that job perfectly to. Finally, I do Lost and Found duty, and I do that job perfectly as well. I explore the hotel, and I get TM49 Echoed Voice on the Deluxe Suite. Not only that, but according to the maids, these pillars are thick... Innuendo, much? Anyways, I go ahead and talk to Mr. Bonding, and I head outside. I find a roller skater, and she teaches me how to do a back flip. Then, I decide to go to a restaurant to battle some trainers. After I battle some trainers there, I explore back to Boutique Coiture. On the way, I discover more innuendos, and just head straight to the store. I then head into Stone Emporium, and there's this guy who is a HUGE fan of me. He tries selling me the Blastoisinite for $500,000. I leave, and go somewhere else. I then stumble upon the place where you can make Pokemon VIne videos, and so I make a 10-second video about how awesome I am. After my video, I talk to the girl near the green screen, and she gives me the Lens Case. After that, I battle at another restaurant. Then, I battle some trainers in the alleys, and head to Lumiose Press, where Alexa gives me a tour of Lumiose City. After that, I head back to Boutique Coiture, and I finally get acknowledged that I'm stylish! I head then head to the Lumiose City Gym. I talk to the Gym guy, and he says that to get to Clemont, I have to go through a series of quizzes. I then head up the elevator, and I find myself in a quiz marathon-like room, and Bonnie is the host. She introduces herself (I already know who she is), and she says that she's Clemont's little sister (Again, I already know). She says that I have to guess the correct answer to pass. The first question... is a question of "Who's that Pokemon?" with a silhouette of Pikachu. I head to the correct elevator door, and get it right. I beat the nerd, and head up to the third floor, where I have to guess which Pokemon is Fletchling. I get it right, and beat the girl. I head to the fourth floor, where I have to guess which Pokemon is Panpour, which is tricky than it seems. I then guess Panpour right, and head up to the fifth floor, where I have to guess which order Vivillon was said. Vivillon was second, and I got it right, allowing me to head to the next floor... I head to the next floor, and I see Clemont and Bonnie. Clemont thanks me for coming, and he introduces himself. However, before he introduces himself, Bonnie interrupts, and introduces him by herself. Bonnie says that he's really strong, which makes him scold her by telling her that it doesn't matter if he or anyone else is strong, and says that none of us would be here if it weren't for our Pokemon. Bonnie says that she hopes that we have an awesome battle, and Clemont says that she's right, and says that we should both do our best in battle. A machine then pops out from his backpack, and the battle begins. Let's do our best, Clemont! Let's shock this town! Clemont sends out Emolga, while I send out Grimsley. Grimsley knocks out Emolga with Extrasensory, and Clemont sends out Magneton, so I switch and send out Blaziken, who I Mega Evolve, and have him use Hone Claws. Meanwhile, Magneton uses Electric Terrain. Blaziken then knocks out Magneton in four hits with Blaze Kick, because Magneton has Sturdy, and Clemont gives Magneton two Hyper Potions. Meanwhile, the Electric Terrain disappears, and Clemont sends out Heliosk, who Blaziken knocks out with Blaze Kick. Clemont is defeated, yet inspired at the same time, and I win the battle! Bonnie is ashamed that Clemont lost, who tells Bonnie that there is no shame in losing. In fact, he's glad whenever he gets to learn something new thanks to strong challengers like me. They then turn to me, and Clemont gives me the Voltage Badge. *Trevo got the Voltage Badge!* Clemont tells me that if I have a Voltage Badge, I will be seen as a friend and equal by any Pokemon up to level 70. He also gives me TM24 Thunderbolt, and Bonnie explains what it does. Clemont gets annoyed at Bonnie, and then exclaims his trademark quote, as he beholds the machine that gives: Technical Machines! However, he said that because he just wanted to be able to say it at least once. he then tells me that he's not just trying to make himself stronger, but all he's trying to do is enjoy every day to the fullest with his Pokemon, while doing the science that he loves with his inventing. Meanwhile, Bonnie tells me to keep whipping her brother into shape. I then head down to the first floor, and leave the Gym. As soon as I get out of the Gym, I receive a Holo Clip from Professor Sycamore, who asks me to come to Lysandre Cafe. He tells me that it's outside the Pokemon Center right by Prism Tower, and says that it's the red cafe, due to Lysandre's love for red. He tells me to hop on a Taxi if I can't find it, and he ends the Holo Clip. I then head to Lysandre Cafe, where I find Professor Sycamore and Lysandre himself. Professor Sycamore calls me over, and tells me that he was just having a conversation with Lysandre about Mega Evolution. Lysandre says that he would also like to congratulate me as well, and says that Mega Evolution is something he, too, would like to be able to use. Professor Sycamore reveals that Lysandre himself is of royal ancestry, and says that he truly is a chosen one. Lysandre says that he is a descendent of the king's younger brother. However, the story is 3,000 years old, so it may not be entirely reliable. Professor Sycamore turns to me, and asks me if I know where the Holo Caster is made, which I already know, considering that Serena told me earlier. The Holo Caster is made directly from Lysandre's lab. He states that Lysandre is a great man, and says that Lysandre supports Trainers and Pokemon research with some of the profit from the Holo Caster. Lysandre says that people can be divided into two groups: Those who give, and those who take... He says that it's just as how the Kalos region's two Legendary Pokemon gave life and took life. Lysandre says that he wants to be the kind of person who gives... But in this world, some foolish humans exist who would show their strength by taking what isn't theirs, and shouts that they're filth. Long, long ago, the king of Kalos sought to take everything for his own, and he created a terrible weapon... Then the fire of destruction was unleashed... That is the legend that has been passed down. Lysandre declares that Kalos is beautiful right now, and also declares that there will be no foolish actions if the number of people and Pokemon do not increase. That being said, the future isn't decided. He says that I can be sure each day will be like the one before. He then says that what the king of Kalos did was reprehensible, but... The ultimate weapon did manage to wash the world clean of that era's filth. He then walks up to me, and hands me a King's Rock, something that I'm actually going to use. He then walks back to where he was standing, and thanks me for listening. He says that I should take the King's Rock as an apology for taking up my time, and leaves. Professor Sycamore is inspired by what Lysandre has said, and says that Lysandre is passionate like a blazing flame. Perhaps his pride in his lineage is what makes him burn so intensely. Professor Sycamore then states that what Lysandre says is only one way of looking at things... It's not necessarily the truth. He then tells me that what's truly important is the time I spend together with others. Well, I've already spent a few romantic moments with Shauna... Heh heh... Professor Sycamore tells me to treasure these moments spent traveling the Kalos region with my Pokemon. I then leave Lysandre's Cafe. Lysandre... Burning intensely... And Team Flare... Fire... Could these two be one and the same? Oh well, onward to the next town! Current Pokemon Stats: Well, almost everyone grew a few levels, and some even learned new moves. Well if you would still like to battle him, and if you still have Episode 9 before the newer releases, then use that to battle him. Then, once you talk to Serra, then just talk to El twice, and you'll get to battle him. Just watch out for his Pokemon, and you'll be fine...

I'll have to find that question the next time I do the Togepi quest. I think that there's a link between the Doctor and ZEL, because unlike how others refer to them as ZEL, he actually calls them by their names when they speak, such as when the Doctor was talking to Eve in the Tanzan Meteor Base. Honestly, I can't wait to find out more! The mysteries keep getting good, and the plot thickens. Keep up the great work, Ame!

The Story of an Unlikely Hero: Pokemon Reborn Edition
Tringus replied to Tringus's topic in Team Showcase
Chapter XXXV: The Huge Tanzan Mountain Conspiracy, Mr. Prodigy Noel, And Charlotte's Past! I head inside the house, and the first thing I see on the table is a purple magazine called "Dragon Tamer Monthly." Not sure I should be reading this, BUT... Oh well. On the cover story, it has Saphira, who appears to be posing scandalously, under-dressed and covered only by an artful selection of foamy bubbles... WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST READ!?! Honestly, I didn't expect Saphira to be into that sort of business. But she is an adult after all, so to each their own. Anyways, I head upstairs, and everyone's in Anna's room, all worried about poor Anna, who's sleeping in her bed. Luckily, I have some medicine for her! Laura wakes her up, I give her the medicine, and Anna is so happy. However, instead of drinking the medicine herself, she dumps it all over Nostra! Everyone is shocked at what she's doing, but she replies that Nostra's drinking it. Charlotte replies that Nostra isn't the one they're worried about. Anna says that Nostra drank all of it, and says that Nostra's feeling much better. She jumps out of bed, and thanks me for getting the medicine, because I saved Nostra's life. I guess I saved hers too, if she's up and happy. Noel states that Nostra's not alive, but Anna tells him off, saying that Nomos wants him to stop lying, and that he should listen to Nomos. Charlotte also notices that Anna is feeling a lot better, and everyone's relieved. Anna turns around to see Laura, and was completely unaware that Laura was here the whole time. Anna apologizes for Nostra causing us trouble, and especially apologizes to me, and says that maybe they can make it up to me now... Anna asks Noel if he and Nomos can do a Gym Battle with me, and Noel is shocked, considering that it's all of a sudden. However, Anna is serious, as she feels that it's really, really important that I collect every badge really soon. She says that since we have two Gym Leaders here, which are Noel and Charlotte, it only makes sense. Charlotte tells her that I am not quite to her rank yet, so she'll pass. Anna is fine with that, and asks Noel if can battle me. Noel tells her that Nomos says that now might not be the best time. Anna tells Noel that Nomos said that it was a GREAT time, and tells everyone to head outside so I can earn another badge already. She leaves, and Laura has ceased to understand Anna. Charlotte, however, says that she, herself, never understood Anna in the first place. That's why Anna's so interesting. Charlotte asks everyone else if they're coming, and they all leave too. I head outside, and everyone is watching from the sidelines. Shelly is happy to see another one of my Gym Battles, and asks me if I will rematch her someday. I probably will, who knows. Laura wishes me luck, and tells me not to trample the flowers, because she spent a bit of time on them. Anna is rooting for me, and Charlotte's the referee. I talk to Noel, who doesn't really see the point of battling right now, but he obliges, and tells me to take my place. Charlotte explains the rules, but then Saphira flies in with her Dragonite. I'm guessing that the magazine earlier was her magazine, but I can't be too sure. Saphira is surprised to see Charlotte and the other orphans, and Charlotte tells her that me and Shelly gave them a hand, and helped them get away from the Doctor twice already. Unfortunately, Saphira has bad news; It's about to be three times. Anna is nervous, and Saphira tells us that the Doctor is coming here. Now. And he's not alone. His orderlies are with him, and there's a group in black crossing the lake to here. What's worse is that they have cut off our only escapes. Noel recognizes the group, and it's Team Meteor. Saphira spots them too, and says that there's a full horde of them. Laura asks what we're going to do, and Saphira says that running is not an option. Apparently, running never WAS an option. She tells Charlotte, Anna, Noel, and Shelly to get in the house and find somewhere to hide. As for me and Laura, we have to defend the house. If anyone gets in, we destroy them. She says that NOTHING is going to touch her family, and tells me that Charlotte is under my protection. She says that the Doctor can't take Laura, because she's of age. However, he CAN take the kids, and that's bad. I completely understand the mission, and Saphira says that the Doctor is coming around the long way, but Team Meteor is on the water. Apparently, Team Meteor thought they were being clever by making sure we couldn't escape that way. Fortunately, this means that they're vulnerable on the water's surface. Saphira says that she's going to go ahead and take down as many of them as she can. She tells all of us to assume our positions, and she flies off with Dragonite. Charlotte tells me that Saphira is their older sister, and Noel says that we need to hurry inside. Charlotte tells us to go inside, and we do. Noel says that there aren't a lot of good hiding spots here. Chances are if anybody gets in, they'll be able to find the kids. Charlotte says that means that me and Laura are their primary line of defense here. She says that Laura is part of the Elite Four, so nothing's going to get past her. As for me... Well, I'm practically a wrecking ball. Any dumb Meteor or Doctor who gets here is going to get their face smashed in. She tells the other kids that it's not a great idea if they all hide in the same place. Though if they hide in the same room, wouldn't that increase their chances of getting saved? Anna and Noel decide to hide upstairs, and Charlotte and Shelly decide to hide in the kitchen. Laura says that she'll be guarding the upstairs, while I take downstairs. She tells me to try not to get the living room dirty, but she changes her mind. Charlotte is happy with this plan, and tells everyone to take their positions. After everyone breaks, Doctor Sigmund arrives with his orderlies. Sigmund states that he has no intention of extending to me the same mercy as when last we met. He says that he is here to reclaim what I have stolen from him: The children. He explains that those children belong at the Orphanage, and they are his property. He tells the orderlies to search the upper floor, and says that he will eliminate me. They head upstairs, and the battle begins. Doctor... I will NOT let these children be shocked to death by you anymore! If you want them, you're going to have to get through ME. Dr. Sigmund Connal sends out Jolteon, while I send out Gardevoir. Jolteon attacks with Thunderbolt, while Gardevoir keeps using Calm Mind. After a few Calm Minds, I heal Gardevoir with a Hyper Potion, then have Gardevoir build up a few more times. After Gardevoir builds up, she uses Psychic, which knocks out Jolteon with a critical hit. Sigmund sends out Luxray, who gets knocked out by Psychic too. He sends out Lanturn, who goes down quick from Magical Leaf. He sends out Elektross, who gets wiped out from Psychic. Sigmund starts to get frustrated, because he sends out his strongest Pokemon, Electivire. However, even the big bad Electivire cannot escape the Psychic Massacre. As a last attempt to stop me, Sigmund sends out Rotom. who manages to survive Magical Leaf. Sigmund gives Rotom a Hyper Potion, and Gardevoir attacks with Magical Leaf again. Sigmund heals Rotom with another Hyper Potion, and Rotom gets attacked again. Sigmund starts to get annoyed, and he heals Rotom with his last Hyper Potion. Now that those are out of the way, Gardevoir finishes off Rotom, and I win the battle, despite Sigmund saying that I'm only delaying the inevitable. After I beat the Doctor, Sirius arrives, cursing Saphira under his breath. The Doctor turns around, and asks Sirius where his men are. Sirius replies that his men are gone. Heck, they're all dead for all he knows. He says that that accursed witch with the Dragonite came and shot them down as they were crossing the lake. However, he 'clipped her wings' in return, and hauled himself out of the water. Now he is NOT leaving here empty-handed. He asks where the children are, and Sigmund replies that I'm protecting them. Sirius says that he can't help but notice that there are now two of them, and only one of us. He says that if they split up, my actions will only tell them where the children are hiding, and I can't stop both of them at once. He tells Sigmund that he's going to head upstairs, and he tells Sigmund to go through the door that leads to the kitchen. He then asks me who I'm going to stop, The Doctor, or himself. Why can't Laura just block the door to the upstairs like what Cain did back at the orphanage? Since Saphira told me to protect Charlotte, and since the Doctor is REALLY starting to get on my nerves, I will stop him. Besides, Laura will stop Sirius, so it's fine. I walk behind Sigmund, blocking his path. Sirius then decides to take a look upstairs. How do I know if he's not reading that magazine in the corner? Anyways, once he's gone, Saphira arrives to help me stop Sigmund. He states that if she's here, then her sisters must be here after all. He then looks around the living room for Charlotte and the others. Saphira walks up to Sigmund and says that there's no one here, just her. What about ME? Sigmund corrects her by saying that's 'Doctor' to her. She walks up to him more and says that he's not a Doctor, but a criminal. She also tells him that she was told that Charlotte left him a nice little scar, and asks him what he probably told her long ago... "How does that make you feel?" As she walks closer to him, the Doctor backs away every inch. She says that it's been a while, and says that she remembers VERY well how... nicely... he treated her and her sisters back at the Orphanage. Well, she thinks that it's time she returned the "favor." She tells him to hold still, and she tells her Dragonite to use Hyper Beam... ON THE DOCTOR. Dragonite fires a Hyper Beam at the Doctor, making him burst through the wall. Laura's not going to like that... Saphira tells the "Doctor" that she thinks they've made a break-through this session. Literally. Just out of nowhere, Sirius tells his Seviper to use Poison Fang on Saphira! Seviper appears out of nowhere, and bites Saphira with Poison Fang, knocking her out. Sirius shows up, and says that this is a day of misery. He tells me to be glad that Saphira softened them up, otherwise he would have ripped Laura upstairs to pieces. Gee, I wonder what he means by that... However, he already promised that he will NOT leave empty-handed. So instead of taking any of the children or Laura, guess who he takes? Saphira. He walks up to Saphira, and taunts her unconscious body, saying that her family won't do everything to protect her, even though she does everything to protect them. Sirius looks forward to seeing me soon. This time, on THEIR territory. He and Seviper take Saphira, and leave. I head upstairs to make sure everyone's alright, and Laura comes downstairs, wondering if everything's alright. She notices the wall, and she's upset that the room is ruined. She's surprised when she finds out that they took Saphira instead of the kids, and Charlotte comes out of hiding, saying that it's a BIG mistake on the bad guys' part. She says that Saphira will probably just destroy them from the inside-out. However, Laura doesn't know if they should just let them take her though, and Charlotte says that it's obviously a trap. She says that it would be safest to just let Saphira go and steer clear of them. She asks everyone if they're ready to go, which confuses Laura. However, Charlotte says that she said it was safest. They aren't safe; they're family, and that means that we're going to get Saphira back, and Laura KNOWS that Saphira would do the same for them. Laura finally agrees, but tells Charlotte to stay here. Charlotte is disappointed, but Laura tells her that they were after her and the other children, not Laura herself. And considering her status, it only makes sense that Laura should be the one to fix this... Charlotte is disappointed, and says that no one ever lets her have any fun. Laura remembers that it was about two months ago, those men in black started installing all of that metal into Tanzan Mountain. Now that she thinks about it, she realizes that the men in black are Team Meteor, which means that Tanzan Mountain is where they probably took Saphira... Laura then tells me that she's going to head down there now, and she would appreciate it if I would help her. Laura then leaves, and Charlotte tells me to slap a few Meteor grunts around for her. Shelly is surprised that Saphira was taken, and I head into the kitchen, where I find ANOTHER Charlotte, and ANOTHER Shelly. I head upstairs to make sure Anna and Noel are okay, and it turns out that they were eavesdropping on the conversation. Anna wishes me luck, and she says that Nostra says that I shouldn't catch Laura when she falls. How strange... I head into the rooms, and find another Noel, with Anna being invisible. Anyways... Time to head to Tanzan Mountain. I head to Tanzan Mountain, and I can't find any way in. Looks like I'll have to find another entrance. I head through Chrysolia Forest, and eventually I find an entrance that was blocked by a tree. I enter Tanzan Mountain, and start finding a way to open the gates that block my path. Unfortunately, all I find is Mystic Water. I head back to Tanzan Mountain, and this time, I find Laura at the east gate. This is where she saw them before, but how do we get through the gate? Laura inspects the gate, and says that Team Meteor must have some way of opening it. She says that maybe there's a switch somewhere... She trips and falls on some rocks, which opens the gate. Laura's upset that she's all dirty, but at least the gate is open. She then heads deeper into the mountain, and I follow. I head deeper into the mountain, and I notice two grunts asleep, and Laura, who doesn't talk. I think that's a bug, but I'm not too sure. It isn't very long before I finally discover Team Meteor's Base. I find a device that spins me around, making me battle a Meteor grunt. I head into a room where there's tiles that teleport me to another part of the room. I step on them until I can get to the machine. Once I get to the machine, I unlock the Entry B Gate. Eventually, I realize that I am teleported to a different room each time I step on the tiles, and find a way to unlock both gates. Finally, I get to the other machine, and unlock the Entry A Gate. I battle the last grunt at the main part of that section of the base, and then I spin counterclockwise so I can continue investigating Team Meteor's Base. I head upstairs, and find another spinning device. I battle the grunt, and head to the left wing, where I find Laura observing a broken cell. I guess Saphira managed to escape okay, because there's a broken cell door, and there's two unconscious Meteor grunts. Before I leave, I use the shiny ninja star (Or whatever it is), and I heal my Pokemon. I head back, and downward, where I find a Meteor Dame. I beat her, then I head upward to continue investigating. When I battle one of the grunts, he accidentally reveals that the bosses couldn't control the PULSE that is in this base. What Pokemon are they using this time for their PULSE plans? I head deeper into the base, finding some teleportation tiles, and battling grunts and dames. From what I've heard, the earthquakes haven't been coming from Team Meteor, and the PULSE project backfired this time. Eventually, I head back to the main area, beat the grunt, and head into the east wing. When I head into the east wing, I find Saphira, who wanted us to leave her here, because she can take care of herself. Since Laura came along, she put herself in danger, which means that Saphira has to help save the day. She tries to open the central gate, but then two Meteor grunts show up. I battle the two to try to buy Saphira some time to get the central gate open. I beat them, and as soon as I do, the Atrium Gate is disengaged. Saphira scares them off by threatening to burn them to a crisp if they don't run. After they leave, me and Saphira head to the main section of Team Meteor's base, Atrium. I battle a few grunts and scientists, and beat them. One of the members I find is Simon, who is in no condition to fight. He tells me that this entire base, and force has been reduced to a pathetic drivel of workers, because of Saphira. She attacked them when they were crossing the lake. They each came on individual rafts. Pairs grouped up, partner with partner. Tara was with Simon, and Saphira shot them down from the sky. She swooped down from the sky, and started shooting them down, two by two. There wasn't anything they could do but sit there and take her attacks... Not only that... but Tara... Tara is dead. Saphira killed Tara, and four others too. Most of them were able to swim back to shore, but not Tara... He couldn't save her either, and that's twice now that he's failed. He vows revenge on Saphira, but until then, he wants me to leave him be. He won't even stop me, either. I leave him be, beat the rest of the grunts and scientists, and disengage the locks to the Project Room. Once the gates are unlocked, I then enter the Project Room. When I enter the Project Room, I find Laura and Saphira confronting the Doctor and ZEL, who's trying to fix the PULSE, which has an Abra strapped to it. Saphira tells Sigmund that he's going to pay for everything he's done. Sigmund asks her what that includes, and asks if restraining the psychotic woman who attacked him (Saphira), and caring for those assigned to him by the city are crimes. Saphira asks him if pinning a child down and lighting her up is "caring" for her, and also asks him if HALF of the things he's done to her were "caring" for her. Saphira is enraged at what he's saying, and is practically YELLING at him! She tells him not to talk to her about the word "caring," because to her, he doesn't know the word. Sigmund warns her not to say such things if he were her. He then snaps, and states that he has devoted his LIFE to learning how to care for those around him, and declares that he will NOT be so disrespected by an unruly little girl. He then calms himself down by saying Lizzy to himself, and says that he mustn't become angry... I wonder who Lizzy is... Laura notices him talking to himself, and Sigmund denies that he's talking to himself, and calms down again. Sirius enters the room, and asks Sigmund if there's anything wrong. He then notices us. However, he tells us to stand aside, because he says that there are more pressing concerns right now. I then get out of his way, as he then walks over to ZEL. He tells ZEL that he has just received a communication: Lin will be coming here shortly to observe their progress. Sigmund is surprised at the sound of the name Lin, and so is Saphira. Apparently, Lin sounds familiar to everyone. Sirius reveals that Lin is the true leader of Team Meteor, and says that even Solaris answers to her. He also says that is the only reason why the name Lin is familiar. Lumi is surprised at this sudden order, and says that Abra still won't listen to them. Laura asks them what they're doing to Abra with the PULSE, and Lumi says that they need to get into a specific place, but it's sealed tight. They figured maybe if they amplified Abra's power, and ask it nicely, it could teleport them into there... Zero says that unfortunately, Abra won't listen to a single one of their commands, and says that it's just been causing trouble constantly. Laura realizes that everything strange that's happening around Spinel Town has been because of Abra. Eve tells Laura that she is correct, and also states that unlike many of their previous operations, their objective was not to disturb the nearby areas. She states that any oddities or damage the town and surrounding area may have incurred have simply been a side-effect of Abra's unfocused power. Sirius tells ZEL that's enough, and tells ZEL to focus on getting Abra tamed, otherwise Lin is going to have all of their heads. Saphira interrupts, and says that we're still busting up this party, and tells them that they're not off the hook. Sirius notices Saphira, and tells her that she can be their test subject. He tells ZEL to warp Saphira away, and before Saphira can attack, she is teleported to another location. Laura is shocked, and asks where Saphira went. Sirius says goodbye to Saphira, and says that he will enjoy not meeting her again. He tells ZEL to teleport me and Laura out too. First, Laura vanishes. After that, so do I. Sirius is pleased, and asks ZEL where he teleported us. Unfortunately, Lumi has no idea where we went, and says that we could be anywhere. Sirius tells ZEL to work on it. He also says that they need to have Abra focused to perfection, and that Lin will be here any minute. He then leaves, and the screen fades to black. I wake up in a cave-like area, and I'm near some acid. The earthquakes are much worse down here, but now that I know Team Meteor isn't the cause of it, it's time to investigate. I head into another part of the cave, and I find Laura unconscious. I wake her up, and the first thing she realizes is that her outfit is all dirty. She asks where we are, and she remarks that it smells awful down here. She notices the acid and the containers, and remembers seeing the same kind of containers in Team Meteor's Base. She then counts the containers, and is upset that there is no eighth one, because she really hates the number seven. She apologizes to me for her strange quirk, and tells me the truth. Laura tells me that it really bothers her when there isn't an even number of something. She knows it's weird, but that's how she's always been. In particular, the number eight has always held special significance for her. To her, it's just relaxing to see something set up in eight parts, because it's a sort of perfect symmetry. She says that Charlotte likes to give her a hard time about it, and says that she'd be laughing at her now. She then tells me the reason why she hates the number seven. She was reminded by something that one of the Meteor Admins said... They said that "Lin was coming." Laura knew a girl named Lin once... back at the Orphanage. It was a couple years ago... She was a little girl, even younger than Anna... but... terrifying... Lin was sadistic... She took pleasure in finding out others' secrets and extorting them... The strangest thing about that is that it's just a little kid doing this. In Laura's case, whenever she had eight of something, Lin would always take one. For instance, Laura would often write and draw in her notebook, and she had differently colored pens. However, if she ever got eight pens, Lin would break one of them, and just walk away laughing... It seems childish, but in a place like the Orphanage, you don't get your own possessions very often, and Lin just had to ruin it. Laura was always left with seven, and something broken that couldn't be replaced... That's why she hates the number seven. She's not really sure what happened to Lin, however... The Doctor got really angry at Lin after she pulled a trick on him... She hooked him up to his own machine. That night, he took her upstairs, locked everyone else in their cells, and Lin was just gone after that... Some of the kids say that Lin escaped, and others say that the Doctor killed her... Nobody knows what happened. Laura is certain that there's no way that Lin could be associated with Team Meteor, because she would be way to young... However, even she is unsure how old Lin really is. She then tells me to help her find a way out of here, and apologizes for talking so much. She was thinking because all of this seems strange. She then says that if we were taken down here, then maybe Saphira is nearby. She then heads off to look for her, and so do I. As the earthquakes get worse, I find a broken healing machine. However, it still works, and I get to heal my Pokemon. I find Laura deeper in the cave, and she tells me that the earthquakes are just like the ones that have been happening in Chrysolia. She says that the earthquakes are stronger in here though, so that means that we're near the source. She heads deeper into the cave, and I follow. I head through a long, narrow tunnel, and find Laura at a dead end because of a giant chasm. As we're talking, a voice calls out to us. Laura recognizes it, and finds Saphira. Saphira recognizes us, and tells us that she's stuck at the bottom of the chasm. Fortunately, the echo is enough for her to hear us. Laura asks her if she's okay, and Saphira says that she's not hurt, but doesn't see a way up. Another earthquake occurs, and Saphira is annoyed. Laura says that the earthquake seem to be getting bigger, and that whatever is causing them, must be around here. She tells Saphira that if we could find it, maybe we could help all of Chrysolia. Saphira tells us to see if we can find anything, and says that she'll keep looking for some way to climb up. Laura goes to find anything, and I follow her. I head back down the tunnel, and this time a new tunnel has formed. I follow it, and I find Laura at another dead end. She notices that the passage wasn't there before either. Saphira asks us if we're making any progress up here, and Laura says that we are, but we're not sure how. She tells Saphira that we just turned around, and there was a new tunnel. Maybe something really big just dug through the stone.., Sapira says that whatever did that would have to be extremely strong... and large. Another earthquake occurs, and Saphira tells us that it may be nearby. She tells us to be on her guard, and she's going to keep moving. Laura tells her to be careful, and she tells me that we should get going too, so we can find a way down to meet Saphira. She heads back into the tunnel, and I do too. I head back, and two new paths have been formed. One leads north, and the other leads south. I head south, and find Laura. She wonders how big the chasm is, and Saphira says that it's putrid, because there's nothing but acid down there. Laura remembers the acid, and Saphira tells us that the containers look like the ones from Team Meteor's Base, energy byproduct. Laura wonders how it could have gotten down there from the base, and Saphira is assuming the same way we did. However, it also means that we are not far from Team Meteor's Base. In fact, based on that and this stone, it looks like we're in the depths of Tanzan Mountain. Another earthquake occurs, and Saphira assumes that the wild Pokemon are probably upset by the sudden injection of the poison from the acid. Saphira says that whatever is causing those earthquakes must just be trying to retaliate Team Meteor for this toxicity. So it IS all Team Meteor's fault! Saphira tells us to keep moving, and says that there's got to be an exit somewhere. Laura heads back into the tunnel, and before I can follow, I hear a scream from Laura. Laura's in trouble! Saphira asks her if she's alright up here, and Laura isn't responding. Saphira then tells me to find Laura. I find a new tunnel, and follow it. When I find the dead end, I find Laura unconscious. Saphira shouts, and asks me if I can still hear her. She asks how Laura is, and she says that THING is moving fast. She says that whatever it takes, we can't let Laura-- She then tells me that the thing is headed my way. Just then, a GIGANTIC STEELIX comes out from below, and roars. Saphira tells me to keep it steady, because we have to protect Laura. She says that the Giant Steelix is the thing that's responsible for the earthquakes. She says that if we take it down, it'll be a huge burden lifted. She tells me to do my best to subdue it, and says that she'll see if she can get into position. The Giant Steelix lunges forth at me, and the battle begins. The Giant Steelix comes out, and it is level 75... LEVEL 75... I send out Gardevoir, and try to use Calm Mind, but even that doesn't do anything, and Gardevoir faints from two Stone Edges. Now I send out Hydra and decrease its attack stat. I switch out for Arc, who faints from Stone Edge. I send out Hydra, then Corey, who lowers Steelix' defense with Rock Smash. However, Steelix uses Earthquake, knocking Corey down. I send out Hydra, then Persian, who flinches Steelix a bit. Persian then faints, so I send out Hydra, then Charles, who burns Steelix down with a critical hit Flamethrower. I beat the Giant Steelix, and win the battle! The Giant Steelix falls deep into the chasm, but then quickly rises back up, but with Saphira riding it! She tells me to grab Laura and hop on. Looks like we're going for a joy-ride. I grab Laura, and we escape the depths. Saphira then tells us the plan. Team Meteor still needs to be stopped, and Laura needs to be taken home. Laura says that she can take herself there, but Saphira will not take any risk of Laura getting hurt again. While she takes Laura home, I'll be dealing with Team Meteor and the PULSE-Abra. Once she takes Laura home, she'll be right behind me. She tells me to get in there, terminate that Abra, and get out of there ASAP. From the sound of it, their real leader is coming any time now, which will only bring trouble. She takes Laura home, and I head back inside Team Meteor's Base. When I head back inside, I find that the Meteor grunts are all gone. I make my way through the teleportation maze, and head to Atrium, and then I head into the Project Room. I head inside the Project Room, where I find the Doctor and ZEL again. Zero is yelling at Abra, and Lumi asks Abra politely to behave, only to get politely declined, as Sigmund puts it, by teleporting ZEL around in the same room. Zero is ticked, and is surprised I made it back. He says that Abra's really useless, and Sigmund says that it would be best to just terminate the project before Lin arrives, as it sounds like she has a rather critical nature. Eve agrees with the Doctor, saying that this level of uncontrolled power would be unacceptable to her. Lumi, on the other hand, doesn't want to hurt Abra after all that it's been through. Zero tells Lumi that they can't do anything at all if they can't even get close enough to deactivate the machine without Abra jumping them away. Abra then teleports ZEL because he said that, and Zero yells at Abra, saying that he doesn't need its sass. Eve asks me if I want to spare the people of Spinel Town the chaos caused by this untamed teleportational energy, and Zero is sarcastic about letting me stop Abra. He tells me to take Abra out, and says that it'll work out for all of us with how ANNOYING Abra is. This earns ZEL another dose of teleportation, but out of the room. ZEL shows up again, and Zero tells me to deal with Abra. He walks over to the PULSE, and says that they aren't going to stop me. They just want me to take down Abra, and we can put the chaos in Chrysolia to rest. Well, if you say so... To be honest, this is actually quite amusing. ZEL unleashes the annoying little Abra, who is LEVEL 100... WHY!?! I send out Gardevoir, and set up with Calm Mind. Unfortunately, Abra is faster, and unleashes Dark Pulse. I send out Persian, who faints from Hyper Beam. Which means, that I can set up with Hydra. Unfortunately, Abra fires another Hyper Beam, which knocks out Hydra. I send out Arc this time, and have him use Swagger. Arc then tries to attack with Crunch, but gets knocked out with another Hyper Beam. I send out Charles, who burns Abra with a critical hit Flamethrower. Luckily, Abra hits himself in confusion, and Charles gets to land another Flamethrower, but doesn't knock out Abra. Abra then hits himself, putting himself to rest. Abra is gone, and that means that Chrysolia is saved. Sigmund is relieved, and asks Eve if the nearby regions will return to normal, or if the damage is permanent. Eve tells him that any objects that have been moved by Abra's energy previously will remain where they are... Which means that the damage is permanent. And further, there are likely some objects that will still move, already having been imbued with unstable psychic energy. However, no more instances of such things will be created, and slowly, Chrysolia will calm itself. Sirius enters the room, and tells Sigmund and ZEL that Lin has just arrived. He is surprised to see that I'm back, and Lumi tells him that I helped them subdue Abra. Sirius says that Lin can't know that I'm an enemy to them, because she'll be furious. Sirius and I know that neither of us don't like it, but he tells me that if I don't want to be torn to pieces on sight, I have to pretend I'm one of them. He pushes me back, and Lin enters the room. She asks Sirius if there is any progress, and Sirius tells her that they experimented with using the PULSE to amplify Abra's powers to teleport a party into the heart of the ruin... However, in the end, Abra's power could not be controlled, and the project was terminated. Lin is disappointed, and asks who's behind him. Sirius tries to tell her that there is no one, but corrects himself. He introduces me as a new recruit, and says that I have been helping them with the PULSE-Abra project. Lin tells Sirius that lying becomes him, and she says that she meant the other person. Sigmund steps forward, and apologizes for the tardy introduction. He introduces himself to her as Dr. Sigmund Connal, residential psychiatrist to Reborn City, and proud administrator of the city orphanage. Sirius tells Lin that Sigmund has been a great asset to them, and with his help, they have now obtained two of the four keys- Ruby and Amethyst. Lin remembers him as Doctor, and Sigmund asks her if they have somehow met before. Lin states that this chance meeting is impossible, and Sigmund obliges. Sirius reports to Lin that as for the other keys, Solaris has reported a lead on Sapphire, and Elias is currently tracking down Emerald. Lin is pleased, and an earthquake occurs. A grunt barges in, reporting to Sirius that a Giant Steelix has just breached the side of the base, and it's tearing it apart. Sirius is shocked, and another earthquake occurs. Lin asks ME if I happen to know anything about this. "Size doesn't equate to strength. Stand aside; I'll show you the meaning of power." She then leaves to deal with Steelix. Meanwhile... Saphira is communicating with Steelix, and asking it if it wants revenge on Team Meteor as much as she does. The Giant Steelix agrees, and that's what she thought. Team Meteor trashed Steelix' home, so now they're going to trash Team Meteor's Base. However, Lin flies in on a Hydreigon, and recognizes Saphira, who's confused on who Lin is. She asks Lin who she is, but Lin only replies that she's Saphira's end, which confuses Saphira even more. Lin asks Saphira if she really thinks she can protect her sisters by destroying Team Meteor, and Saphira asks Lin if she knows her. Lin tells her that her petty family bonds mean nothing, and Saphira gets mad. She says that if anything threatens her sisters, she'll tear it apart, because she does it out of loyalty, which she says that Lin probably never heard of. Lin says that loyalty and family are both meaningless, and says that nothing beats pure, unbridled power. She demonstrates this by ordering her Hydreigon to annihilate Saphira and Steelix. Saphira and Steelix get struck down, causing another earthquake in Tanzan Mountain. Sirius tells me to leave immediately, and says that if Lin doesn't see me again, it's better for everyone involved. He tells me to get going, because this is my only chance. Lumi wishes me luck, while Zero tells him not to wish me luck. As for Sigmund, he's still thinking that Lin looks similar to someone he met years ago... Maybe Lin IS the same child... The same, cold, sadistic, evil child... I do what Sirius wants me to do, and I get out of Team Meteor's Base, and I head back to the Tanzan Cove. When I get back to the house, I find everyone at the dining table in the living room, and everyone's worried about Saphira, because she fell off of a Giant Steelix at the peak of Tanzan Mountain. Anna wants to take a ride on the Giant Steelix, but I think that's a bad idea... Oh, and also because of how Saphira fell. Noel bets that Saphira won't make it, and Anna scolds him. Charlotte bets that Saphira will probably send Dragonite out and fly away, but that won't work because Sirius clipped Saphira's wings. She says that people in her family DON'T go out easily, but that makes Shelly ask Charlotte what happened to their parents. Charlotte tries to say that nothing happened, and goes on a different subject of who the woman with the Hydreigon was. Anna says that she didn't see anyone, and Noel says that Hydreigon didn't appear on its own, as someone was riding it. Noel asks me if I have any idea, and I tell them that it was Lin. Charlotte is surprised, and even SHE thinks its familiar. Anna asks me if I got her Amethyst Pendant back, but unfortunately, I didn't. However, I tell her that Team Meteor is using it as a key. Shelly realizes what I'm talking about, and asks Anna where she said she got that Pendant from. Anna tells her that she's had it as long as she can remember, and she got it from her parents. Shelly tells us that she just remembered an old story she read... In the story, it described an ancient city, built around the crash of a fallen star- a Meteor. The temple that housed the meteor was sealed by four crystal keys- Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Amethyst... But the city fell into ruin, and it was lost... Shelly tells Anna that maybe the Amethyst Pendant is actually the Amethyst key to that ruin, and Noel and Charlotte say that maybe the ancient city became Reborn, and Shelly says that the ancient temple is just underneath Reborn City... Which is why Team Meteor blew up the Grand Stairway! When the city officials explored underneath the stairway, they found a huge cavern with a ruin at its base. Team Meteor found the lock, as I was there too, but now they need the keys. Anna says that Heather's Ruby Ring must be one of the keys, too, which leaves Emerald and Sapphire. Anna says that we have to stop Team Meteor from getting those other keys, because whatever they're trying to do down there, it can't be good. Charlotte says that the keys are embedded into jewelry. She asks Laura if she remembers the Sapphire Bracelet that their dad gave her as a present for her birthday one year. Laura remembers, and she forgot all about it. Charlotte asks where it is, and Laura says that she lost it after, when their mom and dad died... Laura says that it probably didn't survive the fire... But it did. Anna is shocked that there was a fire, and realizes that the fire is where Charlotte got the burn scars from. However, Charlotte denies this, and says that she doesn't have any burn scars. Anna says that they're right there, but Shelly doesn't see them. Anna says that she won't talk about them anymore, but still asks what fire. Laura reveals that when they were much younger, Charlotte accidentally burned the house down. However, before she could actually say that part, Charlotte gets mad, and leaves. Laura chases after her, and everyone's in an awkward position. Anna breaks the ice a second later, and gets the idea that me and Noel should finish our battle from earlier. Noel obliges with that, and everyone heads outside. I heal my Pokemon, and then head outside too. When I head outside, I find Shelly being the referee this time, and Anna and Nostra still rooting for me. I train my Pokemon, then talk to Noel, and take my place. Shelly explains the rules, and Noel talks to Nomos. After he talks to Nomos, Shelly declares that the battle will begin, and it does. That little delay won't stop the inevitable, Noel. Time for me to win this battle. Prodigy Noel sends out Cinccino, while I send out Corey. Cinccino attacks with Rock Blast, which doesn't hurt Corey much, and Corey uses Poison Jab, which I taught over Faint Attack. Cinccino's attacks don't hurt Corey, while Corey is healing himself with the rain. Corey strikes Cinccino with a one critical hit Poison Jab, and Cinccino faints. Noel sends out Porygon-Z, while I send out Gardevoir to prevent it from boosting its special attack stat with Download. Gardevoir builds up with Calm Mind, but Porygon-Z's Discharge paralyzes Gardevoir. Eventually, Gardevoir knocks out Porygon-Z with Psychic, and Noel sends out Swellow, who uses the Guts strategy. Gardevoir tries to attack Swellow, but gets knocked out by Swellow's U-Turn. Swellow goes back to Noel, and he sends out Girafarig, while I send out Arc. Arc knocks out Girafarig with Crunch, and Noel sends out Staraptor. Arc bites Staraptor with Ice Fang, but doesn't knock Staraptor down. Instead, Staraptor uses Close Combat on Arc, and knocks him out. I send out Hydra, and have him set up with Dragon Dance, while Staraptor keeps using Close Combat on Hydra. Staraptor uses U-Turn on Hydra, and Noel sends Swellow out again. Hydra strikes Swellow down with Ice Fang, knocking it out. Noel sends out Staraptor, who nearly knocks out Hydra with Brave Bird, but fails to, as Staraptor then gets knocked out from Hydra's Ice Fang. Noel sends out Clefable, who easily gets knocked out by Hydra's Aqua Tail. I thought he had more Pokemon, but I guess I beat his six Pokemon already, which means... I win the battle! Anna is happy that I won, and Noel states that in accordance with official Reborn League policy, he presents to me the Standard Badge. He gives me the Standard Badge, which by having the Standard Badge, Pokemon up to level 60 obey. Additionally, I also receive TM10 Hidden Power. He explains what Hidden Power does, and just when that's it, Laura shows up, and asks if she's missed anything. Anna tells her that I just beat Noel for a badge, and Shelly asks Laura how Charlotte is doing. Laura says that Charlotte is fine, but she just wants some time to be alone right now. Anna asks what happened, and Laura tells the story of how their parents died... It was a long time ago... When Charlotte was very young, there was an accident. Back then, they all lived together. Charlotte, Saphira, Laura, and their mom and dad. Charlotte would sneak out late every night, usually just to play in the garden or stare out at the lake. It was fine, because it was safe here. However... One night, Charlotte was playing with her Vulpix, and... there was a fire. Saphira woke Laura up and rushed her out of the house just in time, but... their parents didn't make it. Ever since then, it's just been Saphira looking out for them... Especially after the Doctor took them in... Saphira has kept them safe for years, at her own loss... Laura hopes that Saphira is safe, because she doesn't know what she would do if Saphira died. Laura starts crying, and she apologizes. Anna walks up to Laura, and comforts her, saying that it's okay. She says that just because Laura's an adult, doesn't mean that she can't cry. Anna tells her that they should head inside, and also says that Nostra says that she'll feel better if she has a snack and sits down. They all head inside, and I follow. I head inside, and talk to Noel, who asks me to speak with him in private. I follow him, and he tells me that he doesn't see the point in denying the obvious. He tells me that there is a very high chance that Saphira might not make it back alive, and says that we can't just sit around and wait for her. He tells me that there's no way that Anna will let him leave, and he says that I should head out and look for Saphira. He says that they were all watching her when she was on top of Tanzan Mountain when Lin appeared. He says that based on where Saphira and Steelix fell, it won't be far from Tanzan Mountain. A moment later, an explosion occurs. Anna wonders if the top of Tanzan Mountain exploded, and Shelly says that that's where Team Meteor's Base was. Noel says that I should hurry, and I leave. I head back inside Tanzan Mountain, and I head to the Team Meteor Base entrance, but rocks are in the way. It seems that Team Meteor blew up their base so that no one could come back to it. I head to the left gate, and it's busted open. I follow the path, and find a cave. I enter it, and when I get close, another explosion occurs, and Saphira gets out of the newly formed cave. Saphira's alive! I'm not surprised she's still alive, because she will never go down without a fight. She admits that Lin caught her off guard, but she was surprised that Lin knew about her family. She says that she snuck back in, and terminated their base, which means that SHE blew up Team Meteor's Base. She says that she has a present for me, and she gives me the Ruby Ring and the Amethyst Pendant! She tells me that Team Meteor has been desperate to seize these objects, and says that one of them even belonged to Anna. Saphira was going to give it back to her, but that would just paint a target on her back again. As it is, Team Meteor already knows where they're being kept, and they're going to search the house regardless. Saphira wants me to take the two keys, and leave, while she and the others will relocate. She tells me that up north in the Carnelia Region, there are two cities- Labradorra and Calcenon. The gyms in those cities belong to Charlotte and her. She tells me that she'll take everyone up there, but it's best if I go separate. She says that I can defend myself against Team Meteor if they come after me for the keys. She tells me to be careful, and that we'll meet again. She leaves, and I follow her outside, where I find myself in a new land... Team Meteor... And the Jewelry... It all makes sense! The Ruby Ring... The Sapphire Pendent... The Amethyst Pendant... And the Emerald Brooch... They are the four Crystal Keys to the gate! Team Meteor is going after the keys individually, which is why they do their own operations, instead of all of them at one location. Sigmund and Sirius retrieved the Ruby and Amethyst Keys, but Saphira got them back for me. Solaris has a lead on the Sapphire Key, which explains why he was drawn to the Sapphire Bracelet... But is Solaris even considered a Leader of Team Meteor, or is he just like Sirius, Sigmund, ZEL, and his own son Taka? Perhaps he is the Vice Leader... Elias is tracking down the Emerald Key. Though who is Elias? The first two letters seem awfully familiar though... El... And I finally realize why Team Meteor is called Team Meteor. Team Meteor is based off of the Meteor that struck the ancient city beneath Reborn, and Team Meteor is also looking for the mysterious power... If Team Meteor were to get their hands on this power... Who knows what would happen? And I finally know that the four objects are actually keys to that gate beneath the Grand Stairway! All of this adds up. However, there are still many more mysteries to be solved! Current Pokemon Stats My team all got trained a lot, and so now, I can actually get somewhere.
