    Me defeating Lin: 

    • in main story: "It's official... You suck!" 
    • in postgame story: "Now, you will have to answer for-  *sees Arceus tackling brutally Lin to the void*  -OH SHIT! LIN, GRAB MY HAND!" 
    • in true postgame: "Aaww, don't worry, you'll win next time. You've just gotta believe in it, 'kay?"

      That's indeed character development, although unexpectedly. Now after discovering about her backstory and having now mixed feelings for Lindsey. She's officially my daughter^^
