I think you might be able to keep things like berries, maybe. but definitely not good things like lefties or black sludge and stuff from trainer battles. Cepheus Posted June 8, 2014 Share Posted June 8, 2014 Any item from a WILD POKEMON you got with Thief, you will keep Items from Trainer battles will be given back to the trainer -> you don't keep (so you can't get Ferns bazillion leftovers...) But remember your Pokemon will hold that item after it used Thief! If your pokemon is already holding an item you cannot steal more items! so make sure take away that stolen item after battle.
