Lotads raining on my parade

So I wanted a pokemon with good sp. attack and defense, also i needed a water pokemon

So I naturally thought of tentacruel but then remembered that I cant obtain one yet so I desided on a ludicolo until tentacools added

I know where to get Lotad and that it needs to be raining but when I went to the pier in the coral ward on a rainy day I found no lotad

Am I missing something or what?

I remember someone mentioning the same thing a while ago.

I think you need to finish the daycare thing first. But i have to test it though.

i already finnished the daycare sidequest (kind of needed to im going to breed giga drain onto a lotad)

It may be more than just rain. What about rain and wind? Or even a specific time of day.

Sometimes, I went to the bottom pier walkway instead of the top one, maybe that happened with you? If not, then there must be another condition then.

it was only raining when i looked

and the location guide says raining sooooooooooooooo...i dont know maybe its wrong and it has to be windy as well

o_o Do we really need Amethyst for this? It doesn't seem like that big of an isssue, yet. Try it when it is rainy and windy.

while the forums were down i did get a lotad

so when i first looked for it i changed my computers date to get rain and that didnt work

but when i waited till that day naturally lotad showed up

so that it i guess?

So let me get this straight chaging the date doesnt work for lotad weird thats how i got mine changing date method

ludicolo has some usefulness thought. leech seed and rain dish. and its def stats is good too. but i don't bother another water or grass pkms since i got azumaril and breloom

i bread giga drain on it so its pretty good

and fake out is useful

and then bubblebeam for STAB

and rock smash just so i have a pokemon with it

im liking it so far but cant wait till tentacruel is added

Maybe it's fixed so you can't get weather stuff by changing the date

But you can still change the weather by changing the date.
