Bad Ending 1: Comes from surrendering and deciding to wait for the end. 2 Bad Ending 2: Comes from surrendering and calling Mom, it's pretty much the same as Bad Ending 1. 3. Maybe not a Bad Ending(?) 3: You and Melia both die if we fight on, along with most of our crew and credits roll. 4 (Edited). So far (maybe) true ending: So you need to lose the fight to Kaina in order to not have any weird credits rolling I think? Cuz I decided to lose this time around and see some random cutscene of a new mystery person in some sort of pink world (like the one where we get revived after losing a fight). I'm backing up old save files as we speak. There were a lot of options that we needed to type in an answer, and I feel like some of them (or all of them, or just ONE of them) are important to achieving a good ending where our whole gang is alive or something. I need to go check on this but if anyone has found a way, please, PLEASE let us know. Legit was in tears when we all just die, or we couldn't save Melia and our friends get pissed at us. EDIT: Spoiler OKAY- SO- I'm not sure if I did it, but the second ending is that we have to lose to Kaina, cuz now I get to roam freely again. What was all the fighting worth if theres always just yet another even stronger enemy right afterwards? Why care about anyone at all when they all just die anyways, and right in front of mc?? Anyone and anything that might even do the barebone "happy" end (Kaina does not destroy everything) is just not possible, because everything has already been used/wasted on smaller bosses. MC and Melia are dead-dead and the rest of the main cast is the same OR they just have an extra five years during which they'll have to play Electric Boogaloo 2.0 of worlddestroying yet again, just under worse conditions for them. And Kaina won't sit around twiddling thumbs until then either, probably. So in short: there's just. Nothing. And all my caring for the characters was not only for nothing but I got to watch them getting killed off violently<3 great<333 being heartbroken is too weak a description of how i feel tbqh. clownfish Posted 8 hours ago Share Posted 8 hours ago Spoiler the surrender ending actually has a lot of mini-endings, on the last call with your friends, you can visit any one of them to spend the end with if you ask. they're all, ultimately, pretty sad, but some of them have some interesting elements that are worth checking out on a backup. you're probably intended to play erin's, at least. Spoiler the game is not over, and, by now, a character dying means virtually nothing in this game lol (basically all of the main cast has "died" how many times now?). if the game does not want a character to truly die, something or other will find a way. you do get endings, but the current true "ending" is not the full end of the story, nor is it marked as such. i'm sure it will be just as complicated as the rest of the game has been, but i have a good amount of faith in the idea that "just kidding the entire cast was wiped out at once and all was truly futile" does not seem like any sort of reasonable direction to truly end such a huge story off on lmao.
