Is Eevee as a starter worth using?

So I was thinking the other day whether or not Eevee was a good idea to use for a run I had in mind (one for Paragon and one for Renegade (if I have the will to do it)), but I am not sure if it's a good idea to use it or not

What do you think?

On one side, the idea of Ch. 1 Sylveon/Umbreon/Espeon is enticing (no idea about the stone access), on the other, just before Blacksteeple Castle, you can find just enough lost souls to make Eevee spawn in Maman's garden, and that's still very early.
