Game crashes when switching characters

[No Inspiration]

So im in episode 14 (i think?) where you are in the badlands with Ren and Aelita in the part where you just fell down a trap and have to switch between the characters to get out. I can play with my own character just fine, switching to either Ren or Aelita also works fine, but upon switching back to my own character, the game crashes as soon as I move with this error message:
