Stuck on Heracross

So I can't figure out what to do in Heracross Woods. I think I'm supposed to be here, but I can't seem to interact with the heracross.

I struggled on this section too. The trick is to bait Heracross to the South-East side of the map and bypass the sticks by walking in the grass next to it.
