So I need the item finder, but that's in purify forest and I dont know how to get there and I feel kinda stupid.

the forest is just left of the route 3 gate, as on to how to get the itemfinder you need to find the missing kindra wing statue along the river of route 3, i forgot the exact location but its on the right side of the river

Do I need surf/golden surfboard to get it?

Wait I found it it was near the river on the right side where you had to fight that rainbow haired guy.
