Shiny Swirlix?

So I'm doing a shiny only run in reborn, and im trying to get a shiny swirlix from the puzzle, only thing is I've gotten over 300 (357 i believe) and still no shiny. I know you could get a shiny one back a few years but is it still there, or not? If it is then I must be really, really unlucky /:

You can, if your far enough in grab the shiny charm from Calceleon City and try doing it
