Does anyone know if reborn has controller support if so which ones work if not would it be possible to implement as a mod or through a program?

You could use https://joytokey.net/en/  to emulate keyboard inputs from a controller, effectively enabling controller support.

(Or programs similar to that one... there are alternatives, many of which are free, but sadly I don't actually know any of them. JoyToKey itself was the first search result, and I've only included the link as an example/starting point for further research.)
