Shiny Torkoal or Rapidash?

Found a shiny Torkoal in Ryrous Mountain, my first encounter in the area lol...

Problem is I already have a Rapidash that has been extremely helpful so far

I love Torkoal and Rapidash, but two Fire types is probably a bad idea.

Which one compliments my team more?

My team as of now is:

-Earthquake

-Razor Leaf

-Bite

-Curse

-Acrobatics

-Bite

-Confuse Ray

-Wing Attack

-Psybeam

-Charge Beam

-Shadow Ball

-Confuse Ray

327.gif

-Dizzy Punch

-Psybeam

-Faint Attack

-Uproar

Rapidash's Current Moveset

-Flame Wheel

-Stomp

-Flame Charge

-Take Down

I can't decide between my two favorite Fire types. Dat dilemma </3

Rapidash would be more powerful, but you dont have to have a competitive mindset about it. Just choose your favorite. When I first trained the event numel I didnt think i would be using it after the second gym, but now it's a main player on my top team so you never know, you may just enjoy using torkoal.

Bulk or THE POWA either way look at it, it's all about preference. I like fast attackers, so Rapidash is a good fit for me, however if you want a good reliable pokemon, then pick up the torkal. Looking at your team, I say keep the Rapidash because the Torterra is already a good bulky pokemon and another may not be needed.

Rapidash gets agility anyways. Technically speaking.

Also infernape is the fastest fire type. I know it makes no sense.

I mean look at the comparison between the two:

Rapidash only beats Infernape in sp def by 9 points

Infernape is a fighting type as well

104/104/108 offense to 100/80/105

76/71/71 defense to 65/70/80

Throw Rapidash a carrot and make it the fastest fire type again! Give 120 speed or something! (Seriously lots of old pokes need a base stat work over due to power creep)
