Game-stopping glitch, or error. (spoilers past 4th gym)

So i just finished the battle with (Spoilers) Neved, and escaped blackstepple castle. 
But my game dropped me smack dab in the middle of the bed object, rendering my character immobile. 
can someone please help

An update: i tried restoring  a backup save to clear the event, but i ended up being stuck in the same object after the escape. 
I have no idea what to do.
