Choice Scarf

Is there a way to get a choice scarf in episode 18?

Nah, not yet. I do know where it will be assuming its current position is not changed, but, can't access it in E18.

If you really want one, you can steal one from clown indra. Thief/Trick/Switcheroo (etc.) + Fling + Recyle does the trick.

Go get yourself Pansear/Panpour/Pansage.

Have it learn Thief -> Fling -> Recycle.

Fight Agate Clown Indra, until her get the pokemon equipped with that item.

Use Thief on it, then switch, then use Fling on it, then Recycle and win battle; heal and/or revive, if you need.

Suggested good IVs in Defenses and HP and ideal full EV training on them (especially against Flygon, hits really hard).

 

Same way earns you ANY item, an enemy trainer might have. Or, allied ones in double battles.

I recommend Alolan Muk for the Thief method, as it has the best defensive stats and typing so its chances of fainting are much lower.

So Thief/Covet by itself doesn't retain the item after the battle, and one must also use Fling and Recycle if they want to do so? Interesting, good to know when I want to get Life Orbs for my Magic Guarders/Sheer Forcers

Fennekin line can't learn Fling and Recycle... Without this moveset (thief -> fling -> recycle), the item cannot be duplicated and is lost, after battle. Braixen and Delphox can learn Recycle, but not Fling.

Use A-Muk like Foamy suggested before. Let the mon lock itself into something other than eq and it should survive
