Zrayner Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Hey, I am quite stuck right now, I am trying my best to beat Terra, but I never succeed to beat both of her ??? Types pokemon. I tought about some strats, like Endeavor+Sturdy/Focus Sash+Quick attack'or equivalent) but I can t find any pokemon able to learn all of those attacks, and since I am stuck at the circus i can't find a Focus Sash. I also tought about using Knock off, but I Don't have any pokemon with it + the Knock Off move tutor isn't in the Circus. So I am quite stuck atm. My team is: Greninja lv74 Meowstic lv71 Scrafty lv72 Bewear lv73 Camerupt lv71 and a Donphan lv64. Any idea? Thank you for reading me Quote

Thank you for reading me Have you tried field changing moves (misty terrain, grassy terrain, etc)? This can help with those ??? type pokemon. Also any status moves (will-o-wisp, toxic) can help drag down her bulkier mons). An ice or a grass type may help during this battle. Quote

Unfortunatly, i Don't have any Grass pokemon, but i definitly can capture an ice pokemon in the cave. I just checked my available pokemons, but i Don't have any field change attack I ll try using ice+toxic Quote
Abyssreaper99 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 If your meowstic has psychic, also use that as I believe that's buffed in the glitch field. I think that that physical and special attacking moves are dependent on typing, not the move itself in this field. Will have to double check that. Look up typings prior to gen 3 online if that's the case. Quote
Zrayner Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 Oh yeah you are right, thx for the help mate, i did not know that Quote

Thank you for reading me Terra uses glitch field, check it here: http://pokemon-reborn.wikia.com/wiki/Glitch_Field Dark type moves deals normal type dmg, so knock off won't be that helpful. A special offensive Ice type will help you a lot in this match. You could get an A-ninetales and/or an abomasnow. Quote
Zrayner Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 Ok finaly I finaly found a strat thx to you guys, just neeed a bit of Rng and i got that, I ll soft reset a bit. Thanks, it is thanks to you guys Quote
rumps Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 I know you've already figured it out but for future reference just treat this like gen 1 and you'll probably be good. Strong water types like gastrodon can wall just about everything on her team except palossand and maybe garchomp. I'd also watch out for nidoking as that amnesia is deadly in this gen. At the same time if you have an amnesia user of your own you'd be fine. Alakazam is a solid pick for taking out nidoking though, and also it being in the glitch field gives alakazam a crazy high special defense. Quote
wcv Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 One thing to note is her Pokemon gaining ? Type is a seed effect. If you force them out they will reenter with proper types. Quote
