My favorite locations in general would be the Kingdom of Zeal in Chrono Trigger, Lindblum and Memoria in Final Fantasy 9, Opelucid City in Pokémon Black.. just to give you a few examples. I could probably go on for a bit, but I think I'm more interested about what you people have to say. Maybe it'll spark my interest in a game I have yet to play. Link to post Share on other sites

It's one of the single most atmospheric experiences I've ever had in a game, with Arthas pressing on at the expense of everything to try and quell the Undead Scourge. Especially the moment when he's about to pick up Frostmourne. One of the best moments in gaming history in my opinion. Prague in Deus Ex:Mankind Divided comes pretty close in second. It was just so damn atmospheric...you can feel what the game is about just by taking a quick look around the city and the streets of Prague. Link to post Share on other sites

I could listen to the bgm for that place for ages and it was always a really nice small hub that let you interact with all the Pcs, once they got their tutorial dialogue out of the way.
