DW~
Welcome everyone to the Mythos League Rate My Team thread. This is a place where you can share your teams so that other competitors can give you some advice for it, and we hope you can do the same for your fellow challengers. No rules to speak of, all we ask is that you use spoilers to make it easier to read, and that you be on your best behavior when criticizing others. While you may not get a reply quickly, the PR will try their best to give you some advice to help make your team as strong as possible. You only get one chance, after all, unless you decide to restart your league challenge. Lastly, the Sign Up Thread will be up by the middle of next week. Said thread will enclose our start up date as well so look out for it in the very near future!

DW~
Spoiler Tyranitar - Rock Slide - Pursuit - Stealth Rock - Crunch Excadrill - Earthquake - Iron Head - Rock Slide - Swords Dance Charizard - Flamethrower - Solar Beam - Dragon Pulse - Roost Flygon - Draco Meteor - Earth Power - Roost - Defog Venusaur - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb - Hidden Power [Fire] - Synthesis Azumarill - Play Rough - Waterfall - Aqua Jet - Belly Drum Shiftry - Knock Off - Leaf Blade - Fake Out - Defog Cobalion - Close Combat - Volt Switch - Taunt - Stealth Rock Alright seems, like a good squad in general, maybe switch out flygon for something that benefits more from the sand maybe, examples being lycanroc-day, chomp + it's mega, etc. also could afford to give shifty a mixed set for sun sweeping if you stick with flygon but if not keep as is b/c it's your only defogger. Spoiler Lucario - Close Combat - Crunch - Extreme Speed - Swords Dance Raikou - Volt Switch - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [Ice] - Calm Mind Krookodile - Earthquake - Knock Off - Pursuit - Rock Slide Primarina - Moonblast - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam - Scald Conkeldurr - Drain Punch - Mach Punch - Knock Off - Thunder Punch Bronzong - Gyro Ball - Toxic - Psywave - Stealth Rock Salamence - Draco Meteor - Rock Tomb - Roost - Defog Nihilego - Power Gem - Sludge Wave - Psyshock - Thunderbolt Ooo I like this one tbh, could afford to switch hydro out for coverage on primarina and psywave for a better stab on Bronzong. In addition, Rock Slide is better on Mence, or maybe Heat Wave to make it more special oriented. Spoiler Pelipper - U-turn - Roost - Scald - Defog Swampert - Earthquake - Waterfall - Ice Punch - Stealth Rock Kingdra - Draco Meteor - Hydro Pump - Scald - Ice Beam Raikou - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [Ice] - Volt Switch - Calm Mind Roserade - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb - Weather Ball - Toxic Spikes Araquanid - Liquidation - Leech Life - Wide Guard - Toxic Scizor - Bullet Punch - U-turn - Roost - Defog Bewear - Brick Break - Earthquake - Return - Swords Dance Might want to give Sciz K-off, otherwise types such as normal can wall this with ease with the basic of wall spams. Swords Dance Bewear is nice, but the lack of recovery or speed control to use it effectively makes it a bit of a liability, and as such it'd be better with the 4 moves set. Other options beside it include Virizion, which opens you up to hurricane spam from the leaders but performs the fighting stab role well and Cobalion which does the same role + it's steel typing, but also gets taunt + rocks for extra hazards and to stop set up sweepers. Spoiler Gallade - Drain Punch - Zen Headbutt - Knock Off - Swords Dance Clefable - Moonblast - Soft-Boiled - Flamethrower - Toxic Muk-Alola - Knock Off - Poison Jab - Shadow Sneak - Pursuit Registeel - Seismic Toss - Iron Head - Thunder Wave - Stealth Rock Gyarados - Waterfall - Crunch - Taunt - Dragon Dance Rotom-Heat - Overheat - Volt Switch - Pain Split - Trick Kyurem - Ice Beam - Draco Meteor - Earth Power - Roost Donphan - Earthquake - Ice Shard - Rapid Spin - Stealth Rock Clef with toxic + flamethrower seems a bit weird, I'd make it a cm set so it can help secure more wins or matchups. Could go sub over taunt for easier set up on certain matchups, or maybe eq or bounce for coverage. Pain Split + Trick on Rotom Heat is also a bit odd, and either can be swapped for WoW to cripple physical attackers. Donphan is also a niche choice, with Exca outperforming it in that role, as well as giving it the great steel typing for extra resistances. Spoiler Mimikyu - Play Rough - Shadow Sneak - Destiny Bond - Trick Room Bisharp - Knock Off - Sucker Punch - Iron Head - Swords Dance Cresselia - Psyshock - Calm Mind - Moonlight - Trick Room Araquanid - Liquidation - Leech Life - Wide Guard - Toxic Snorlax - Return - Crunch - Belly Drum - Recycle Salazzle - Sludge Wave - Fire Blast - Protect - Nasty Plot Diancie - Stealth Rock - Moonblast - Diamond Storm - Trick Room Starmie - Scald - Thunderbolt - Ice Beam - Rapid Spin Alright this team has a host of problems. For one, Trick Room is a playstyle in which mons that can get kills, primarily OHKO's-2HKO's are used to bring about enough havoc before TR is up or to use it to win. 3 TR users isn't optimal, so I'd recommend switching Diancie out for Mega Steelix, as it's bulky, has a nice typing and helps you out on the physical side as well as setting rocks up. You can also switch out Bisharp for Pangoro, as it can grab more OHKO's with a band or an LO set in a turn, while Bisharp needs a turn to set up to doe the same. In addition, your faster mons outside of TR as well as Cresselia (Unless the based Megahorn misses) get smacked by the basic LO Scolipede set, especially with the opposition's rocks up so keep that in mind. @pyrromanis Spoiler DreamWorld (Virizion) @ Life Orb Ability: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Leaf Blade - Close Combat - Stone Edge - Swords Dance Azery lives again (Scizor) (M) @ Scizorite Ability: Technician EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD Adamant Nature - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Swords Dance - Knock Off Citron (Azumarill) (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Huge Power Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD Adamant Nature - Aqua Jet - Belly Drum - Play Rough - Knock Off Spoon guy (Alakazam) @ Life Orb Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Psyshock - Energy Ball - Focus Blast - Trick Cuz i can (Porygon-Z) @ Life Orb Ability: Adaptability Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Tri Attack - Ice Beam - Thunderbolt - Toxic Lost (Gliscor) (F) @ Toxic Orb Ability: Poison Heal EVs: 244 Atk / 12 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Stealth Rock - Earthquake - Knock Off - Swords Dance Lyndis (Togekiss) (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace Shiny: Yes EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Air Slash - Flamethrower - Follow Me - Thunder Wave Raikou @ Leftovers Ability: Static EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [Ice] - Calm Mind - Volt Switch Could switch t-wave on Toge for defog, or switch Scizor from an SD to a Defog set since Virizion is your phys set up sweeper as is and Toxic on PZ could be switched to Shadow Ball or another coverage move, but if you really want toxic, make it a PZ and switch tri attack to recover.@Snowy Amine ( MC Kapper)
HUEnd
Aaaand here it is: I decided to try out a "PU" (I'll use the respective mega evolutions, though) team. Take a look! However 252+ SpA Choice Specs Lapras Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Scizor-Mega: 324-384 (94.4 - 111.9%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO on the basic specsra set should kill it @HUEnd
pyrromanis
Dunno how I missed these 2 teams before, but here are some more team ideas: Volt-Turn spam Spoiler Gengar - Shadow Ball - Sludge Bomb - Focus Blast - Trick Hydreigon - Draco Meteor - Dark Pulse - U-turn - Fire Blast Scizor - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Defog - Roost Rotom-Wash - Hydro Pump - Volt Switch - Will-O-Wisp - Pain Split Camerupt IVs: 0 Atk - Earth Power - Heat Wave - Stealth Rock - Hidden Power [Grass] Tsareena - Trop Kick - High Jump Kick - U-turn - Rapid Spin Aerodactyl - Rock Slide - Sky Drop - Earthquake - Taunt Silvally-Fairy - Multi-Attack - Thunder Wave - Flamethrower - Parting Shot Mimikyu-Mega Lopunny core Balance Spoiler Lopunny - High Jump Kick - Return - Facade - Fake Out Mimikyu - Shadow Claw - Play Rough - Shadow Sneak - Swords Dance Aegislash - Shadow Ball - Flash Cannon - King's Shield - Wide Guard Zoroark - Dark Pulse - U-turn - Flamethrower - Sludge Bomb Crobat - Brave Bird - U-turn - Roost - Defog Excadrill - Earthquake - Iron Head - Rock Slide - Rapid Spin Entei Shiny: Yes - Extreme Speed - Sacred Fire - Stone Edge - Flare Blitz Rotom-Mow - Thunderbolt - Volt Switch - Leaf Storm - Will-O-Wisp
DW~
Spoiler Gengar - Shadow Ball - Sludge Bomb - Focus Blast - Trick Hydreigon - Draco Meteor - Dark Pulse - U-turn - Fire Blast Scizor - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Defog - Roost Rotom-Wash - Hydro Pump - Volt Switch - Will-O-Wisp - Pain Split Camerupt IVs: 0 Atk - Earth Power - Heat Wave - Stealth Rock - Hidden Power [Grass] Tsareena - Trop Kick - High Jump Kick - U-turn - Rapid Spin Aerodactyl - Rock Slide - Sky Drop - Earthquake - Taunt Silvally-Fairy - Multi-Attack - Thunder Wave - Flamethrower - Parting Shot Alright this team is pretty good, you've got your bases covered but there's a large sd sciz weakness once rupt is down and trick on gar could be used instead for vital coverage. Otherwise it's a-ok Spoiler Lopunny - High Jump Kick - Return - Facade - Fake Out Mimikyu - Shadow Claw - Play Rough - Shadow Sneak - Swords Dance Aegislash - Shadow Ball - Flash Cannon - King's Shield - Wide Guard Zoroark - Dark Pulse - U-turn - Flamethrower - Sludge Bomb Crobat - Brave Bird - U-turn - Roost - Defog Excadrill - Earthquake - Iron Head - Rock Slide - Rapid Spin Entei Shiny: Yes - Extreme Speed - Sacred Fire - Stone Edge - Flare Blitz Rotom-Mow - Thunderbolt - Volt Switch - Leaf Storm - Will-O-Wisp Well for one, Lop values a coverage move such as t-punch, ice punch, etc to hit other things besides what normal/fighting doesn't already take out with scrappy added on other than that maybe Iron Head or Bulldoze >Flare Blitz/Sacred Fire depending on which stab you don't want. @pyrromanis Edited September 12, 2017 by DW~
Filthy Casual
I'm going to be entering this league with some of my favorites (as well as some qualified Pokemon I haven't used before). Here's who I have for my elite 8 so far: Spoiler Patch (Chesnaught) (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Overgrow EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def Impish Nature - Leech Seed - Brick Break - Seed Bomb - Spiky Shield Nohime (Mismagius) (F) Ability: Levitate Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Nasty Plot - Shadow Ball - Dazzling Gleam - Taunt Gatsby (Garchomp) (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Sand Veil EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Earthquake - Outrage - Stone Edge - Dragon Claw Morpheus (Alakazam-Mega) (M) @ Alakazite Ability: Trace EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Substitute - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast Mega Luvdisc (Alomomola) (F) @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Healer EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Wish - Protect - Scald - Toxic Helios (Volcarona) @ Charti Berry Ability: Flame Body Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Giga Drain - Fiery Dance - Quiver Dance - Bug Buzz BARINGAS (Tyranitar) @ Chople Berry Ability: Sand Stream - Stealth Rock - Crunch - Ice Punch - Stone Edge Don Juan (Honchkrow) (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Moxie EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Brave Bird - Sucker Punch - Superpower - Pursuit Edited September 12, 2017 by Filthy Casual

In addition, passive mons like Alomomola tend to not perform well in leagues for challengers, maybe switch it to Milotic which is better overall. Also I'd suggest fb (Fire Blast) over outrage on chomp so you don't get walled by physical walls such as Bewear,Miltank, Ferrothorn or Skarm. Finally your team lacks a defogger or spinner, honchkrow can fit that role well but it cannot use Moxie with it, leaving it with 3 moves in a battle at times. Mandibuzz can work well as a replacement for honchkrow on this team and give it more bulk overall, while providing as a k-off and defog user. It also gets foul play to shut down physical attackers. @Filthy Casual
