My pokemons wont breed even though they are in same egg group.

So i tried breeding a larvitar and an axew but it didn't work even though they are both monster. I also tried a beararctic and pilloswine and that didnt work either. Any idea why? I did this in reborn btw.

what does the man outside the day care say??
if he says that they don't like each other you will still get eggs, it just takes longer

I usually get an egg in 250~ steps. Sometimes, it takes a little longer.

probably around 500 steps, darnit i have to reevetrain and breed anyother tyranitar now , do you know how to get a oval charm by any chance?

There is one at the bottom of Azurine Lake iirc

Sometimes, it just takes a long time until there's a egg for you, you should just wait more or try using an Axew/Larvitar from a different trainer to boost the Egg Chances ^^

Just to be clear the only message old man gives to indicate no egg is along the lines of "Your pokemon X and pokemon Y are doing fine, they prefer to play with other pokemon than each other"
