Under the Jungle [UU]

Sooo I decided to make a monograss UU team. I had this before I went on vacation but I didnt have the time to make the thread for it. I will correct that now.

389.gif@ Leftovers

Trait: Overgrow

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Earthquake

- Crunch

- Wood Hammer

- Stealth Rock

Eh... This is an anti-lead. It can dish out some good damage and bulk one solid hit. Nice coverage. Stealth Rocks will help deal with the severe Bug/ice/Fire/flying weakness so thats fun!

154.gif@ Leftovers

Trait: Leaf Guard

EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

- Synthesis

- Giga Drain

- Leech Seed

- Sunny Day

I've never actually seen this used. So I decided to give it a spin. Turns out that it can stand it's ground against quite a few OU threats. Sunny Day to Support the sweepers that come later. It isnt as good at seed stalling as Tropius, but it's good enough for me.

470.gif@ Leftovers

Trait: Chlorophyll

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Leaf Blade

- Aerial Ace

- Synthesis

- Swords Dance

The big problem with Leafeon is that it has a somewhat lacking movepool. It's fast with some alarmingly high attack stats, but it lacks the proper moveset to actually abuse it.

357.gif @ Lum/Sitrus Berry

Trait: Harvest

EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 SDef

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Rest

- Leaf Tornado

- Leech Seed

- Protect

Any Grass team that doesnt have Tropius is instantly a bad grass team. Tropius' sheer awsomeness makes it instantly the most reliable pokemon on the team. /opinion.

But anyways.... Leaf Tornado is my friend. Decreasing accuracy is fun. Seed Stalling is fun. Berry Spamming is great. Protect is perfect for the Sitrus+Seed recovery.

Cradily (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Suction Cups

EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef

Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

- Stockpile

- Recover

- Confuse Ray

- (insert special move here)

I swapped Virizion for something that can bulk pretty much most of the things in the UU tier. (That and Virizion is now BL) Stockpile and Recover go hand in hand in resisting most oppositon. Confuse ray for additional trolling. I cant figure out what to use as the 4th move so thats where you guys come it.

586_s.gif@ Life Orb

Trait: Chlorophyll

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Horn Leech

- Jump Kick

- Double-Edge

- Wild Charge

If only Leafeon had Sawsbuck's godly movepool...

This hits HARD. Double edge Life orb STAB is one of the scariest things I have ever seen. With sun up, this thing can utterly ruin most teams.

Fire, flying, ice, Yanmega bug types. they spell doom for this team. But being the lazy person I am, I just make teams and let people improve them. So do that.

Here. have this thing.

Torterra (F) @ Leftovers

Trait: Overgrow

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Earthquake

- Crunch

- Wood Hammer

- Stealth Rock

Meganium (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Leaf Guard

EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

- Synthesis

- Giga Drain

- Leech Seed

- Sunny Day

Leafeon (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Chlorophyll

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Leaf Blade

- Aerial Ace

- Synthesis

- Swords Dance

Rikash (Tropius) (M) @ Lum Berry

Trait: Harvest

EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 SDef

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Rest

- Leaf Tornado

- Leech Seed

- Protect

Virizion @ Leftovers

Trait: Justified

EVs: 108 HP / 128 SDef / 252 Spd

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Calm Mind

- Giga Drain

- Hidden Power [Rock]

- Focus Blast

Sawsbuck (Sawsbuck-Winter) (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Chlorophyll

EVs: 116 HP / 140 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Horn Leech

- Jump Kick

- Double-Edge

- Wild Charge

You might want to have something that can hit flying types. I know its a monotype team so you are limited but crobat will poop on this team. Like the originality tho :)

Good team. I wouldn't worry too much about monobug, monoflying, monoice and monofire teams. Some matches can't be won. What you should be concerned about though, is face one of the other 13 monotype teams who happen to have a pokemon strong against grass.

Dual types such as Victini and Yanmega who can find their way on multiple teams are the biggest threats. 85/100.

I also have several UU Monotypes, so PM me if you want to test this team out on a level playing field.
